Poseidon Experience

This was such an educational experience. I’ve shot live guns before but Jesse, the owner and our instructor, really broke down the steps on how to safely and properly use a firearm. It’s so important to understand the basics before moving on to using live ammunition. The first time you go, you do the orientation portion. You get to do the simulator as the second portion of the orientation. During the simulation and you get a gun that shoots out a laser and the laser helps the instructor give you verbal instruction on how to improve. I learned so much from this experience and I undoubtably will return soon for a second session!!!

Group of 10 of us with varying levels of comfort and experience but all ready to learn. Everyone from the owner, trainer, holster smith to the dog were fun and enthusiastic about each aspect of the training. Yes I said the dog was enthusiastic. Normally I’d say go if for no other reason than to show your support and appreciation for their service. But in this case go to show your appreciation and because it’s awesome fun and makes you a smarter-​safer-​better shooter. Going back as much as time, money and my wife will allow.

Jesse is an excellent instructor and resource who takes training very seriously yet makes it a fun experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone at absolutely any level. You will get something great out of it.

This is the perfect spot to hone your skills with handguns. It should be noted that this is a complete simulation gun range — no live fire here. They make it perfectly clear that this does not replace live fire ranges, but compliments them. You always have a coach on hand watching to make sure you have proper form and technique and they lead you through all the basics needed. This is cheaper than a normal range, too, so it is great for keeping your skills from getting rusty.

I want to start off that I am a rookie when it comes to guns. I have been to the firing range many times with friends but never been thought how to properly stand when firing a gun. This place will give you all of the skills to defend yourself without ever firing a bullet. The weapons are air actuated to give you the realistic kick of a gun. I am so impressed that I ran home to tell my wife about it and got online to sign us up for a class.
If you are an expert with guns and feel this place is not advanced enough for you, think again. They have training programs that even some of the best trained law enforcement officers have issues with.
Come try this place out, I sure will.

I have been wanting to find a gun training class that didn’t seem intimidating and this was it! I took the Artemis Ladies Training course and I now want my mom and sister to take it as well. The instructors, Jesse (owner) and Scott were absolutely wonderful! They were open to all questions, informative, and hands-​on. Ultimately it seemed like a safe environment because there was no live fire. So while I had a real gun experience (they have you practice and handle real guns), there was no live ammunition. So if you always wanted to try a gun range or take a class but your nervous about others, the atmosphere, and/​or the instructors; I HIGHLY recommend you try out this facility.
I’d truly give it 4.5 stars because it has a few things that still need to be tweaked at the facility and for their class, but it’s new and I think it’ll get there. Regardless, I will be going back and with others!

Wow! I booked a special intro to handguns/​experience with Jesse last week for the 5 of us. (2 adults, 1 16yr, 2 21yr). Everyone loved it. He was such a good teacher and so patient. I can tell he would be great with all ages, as I am also a teacher. The equipment worked great and was great fun!
We can’t wait to go back. We all agreed this was the highlight of our stay at home vacation week!
