Very fast and friendly service– even friendlier than I remembered from last time. Note: they off delivery through Eat24 now($ 20+up minimum). My order remains the same. You know what I think would tip«my recipe» over the top? Kalamata olives rather than black. An abundance of flavor and perfect match for falafel and hummus.

I LOVE Pita Pit! I frequent this location downtown often for lunch choices at work. The line moves quickly inside and the people are friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and ready to go. I love that you can choose from multiple different veggie options and they can pack it in there for you. Warning: DONOTORDERFORDELIVERY! I ordered for delivery around 1:30pm — after the lunch rush hour and was told my food would be here at 2:23. I normally would just drive to PP and get it, but meetings and what not did not allow for me to do that. My food arrived at 2:50 — a half hour past my 45 minute wait time as indicated. Do not offer delivery if you are unable to do it in a timely fashion.

The staff at night is SO friendly. The staff anytime before then seems a bit stressed(minus the women wrapping the Pitas). The food itself is alright. It’s basically the Qdoba of the pita world. You go in. You pick the basics of what you want off the menu. You can get it loaded or you can pick and choose what you would like inside your pita. We’re talking vegetables galore. Cheeses galore. Sauces galore. Oh and if you need extra salt or pepper? They’ve got you on that too. You can even get tuna fish salad in a pita(albeit made from a packet of tuna and mayo) if you aren’t feeling too adventurous and don’t work in a cube environment(or do but don’t mind irritating them with the smell). I am being a terrible Unilocaler and can’t remember the name of the chicken one I oftentimes get… But I also get the their breakfast ones on rotation as they’re served all day. They have gyro style. You name it. It’s not all great. But it is what you decide to put into it… Literally.

It’s my first and LAST time ordering from here. I work a block away but couldn’t walk due to a knee injury. I ordered at 11:20am, called the restaurant at 12:40pm and was transferred to who I believe was the manager. I was told the delivery was on it’s way but I was last and it would be even longer… than the 1 hour 20 minutes already! He said if I had any issues with it to call back after 2pm and hung up. I finally got the order at 1:10pm and it was ice cold.

This is a great option for a healthy lunch in downtown Indy. Lots of fresh, colorful veggies to choose from and the line moves quickly. It was a little confusing on my first visit. It was crowded at lunchtime and I had to figure out where to place my order, pay for it and then where to stand to choose ingredients for my pita. The best thing about a pita is that they can stuff way more ingredients into it than a typical sandwich. My falafel pita was absolutely stuffed with an assortment of fresh veggies. They definitely don’t skimp on ingredients here.

I’m giving Pita Pit 2 stars because I ordered delivery and it arrived super fast and as specified. I got a chicken souvlaki salad. The chicken was greasy and fatty and didn’t have much flavor. The tzatziki sauce and hummus added very little flavor to the otherwise pretty damn flavorless salad(I picked 5 ingredients in addition to the sauce and hummus). I ended up putting some Salsa Valentina on it so that it wouldn’t taste so bland. I won’t choose Pita Pit again, but the delivery was fast and excellent if you’re in a pinch.

Their food is great, but I strongly recommend to never order via delivery. I ordered lunch for delivery to my downtown office, located 5 blocks from the store and they forgot one of my pitas that was ironically a complimentary pita due to a previous bad experience with their delivery. So I gave them a second chance, my last chance. I called about 45 minutes after I called to report I was missing a pita and they ensured me it was on it’s way… I’m still waiting.

The food is tasty but the customer service ruined everything for me. I’ve tried going time and time again, but it never fails, the staff is so freaking rude. God bless you if you’re a first-timer and go during lunch hours.

Delicious spot for the vegan foodie. Exquisite secret sauce and falafel. The staff could have been more nice. Other than that, happy to have gone here.

The line processes very quickly when it is busy during lunch. Some days they have specials, and if you are a government employee you get a discount off a meal. The ingredients are fresh, and your order is completed very quickly. They have outdoor seating for when it is nice outside. I would recommend trying this place.

Very disappointed. First the bread not Pita, it’s more like a wrap. Second it’s not hot(as in temperature, it’s more of a cold wrap). Third price, it does not justify the food. It’s just a wrap. Nothing pita about it. For a wrap, it’s a decent one.

Not bad, not amazing. Nothing really special as the Pita came out of a bag and had little filling for the price and size. Good atmosphere and friendly staff though!

I often overlook this place for lunch because it’s a bit removed from my office downtown, but on a nice day, Pita Pit is definitely worth the walk! My eyes are often bigger than my stomach here, so when I request they stuff about 10 ingredients in my wheat pita with buffalo chicken, you would think that the pita sandwich would be overflowing, messy and hard to eat. Not the case at all! Each time, no matter how much I stuff into my lunch, the pita is edible and doesn’t fall apart. Like I mentioned before, I LOVE the buffalo chicken, and if you look at the calorie count on the menu, even for a regular size pita, it ain’t so bad for lunch. I’m sure once I add the tzatziki sauce and feta you might tell me otherwise, but I still believe Pita Pit is a relatively healthy and fast lunch option in downtown Indy. I leave satisfied, but not stuffed, which is great in my book. A couple notes: not much seating inside. There is some outside seating for nice days. Also, if you dine in, you’re literaly just handed your pita in a wrapper, which threw me off a little on my first visit. Luckily, they wrap it enough to the point where you won’t make a mess, but I wish they’d at least give you a plate!

Stopped in because I wanted something tasty and not to heavy before a meeting. Pita Pit was the ticket. Nice fresh ingredients and portions that are filling but not overly heavy unless you want it to be. Add friendly fast service and you have a winner!

Great alternative to a subway sandwich. If I want something that is going to last for awhile, this is perfect. Travels well.

What a waste of a lunch. The only decent part of my meal was the chicken souvlaki. It at least was warm and had some good flavors. The rest of the pita was cold and entirely without flavor. I added a bunch of vegetables but all the vegetables are just plain. Plain corn, plain carrots, plain spinach, plain peppers. No flavor, no spices. And all of the vegetables are kept quite cold. makes for a terrible pita sandwich when you actually eat it. The contrast between the well cooked meat and the frozen vegetables is terrible. You either get a decent bite of chicken/meat or you get a bunch of cold, flavorless vegetables. I got mine with the pesto sauce and even that was without any notable flavor. Could hardly even notice it was in there. I will not be going back and would recommend people try other places for lunch.

I’ve been needing a delivery sandwich shop besides jimmy johns, and I think I’ve found it. We decided to give the pita pit a try today, and it was pretty solid. My wife and I ordered chicken souvlaki and a gyro pitas, and both were really good. The meat in both was tasty, the veggies were crisp and fresh, and the tzatziki sauce was delicious. As a lover of tzatziki sauce, nothing makes me happier than food drenched in its goodness. The delivery was reasonably fast, too. I think a little more meat on the pitas would be good, so next time I’m going double meat.

Great lunch spot for downtown lunchers! I went for the falafel and loaded that baby up with veggies and the delicious yogurt cucumber sauce and let me tell you, a small portion filled me up, it was perfect for lunch and had just the right amount of food. My pita was bursting with flavors and I loved that you watched every single process happen from grilling the goodies that need to be warm to picking out your own toppings. I think they deliver too, which is just perfect for those days when you can’t peel your eyes away from the screen long enough to scarf down some grub :)

We stopped into the Pita Pit for a bite to eat before an NBA game. I was very impressed with how smoothly the staff operated when they were slammed with hungry patrons. I ordered a wheat pita stuffed with chicken, a ton of veggies and cheese, and I thought for sure there would be an extra charge for all the toppings I loaded on it, but there wasn’t. Nice.

Pita Pit is a super delish delivery option when I can’t get away from my desk. I’ve been working my way around the menu and everything has been tasty. The pitas are super stuffed with the chosen filling and I love it. Every once in a while, I’ve had a blow out that caused me to resort to a fork, but who cares? The Southwestern Chicken is one of my favorites. I also don’t like cheese(I know, I know) and they are always accommodating to leave off or add anything requested. I’ve never had an issue. I dig it.
