Patora Fine Jewelers

I am yet again shocked by how many little reviews this store has. I’m hoping my review will come to the rescue!
I was referred by a coworker. I am newly engaged, and the reason I needed a jeweler was because my engagement ring didn’t fit (don’t blame my guy, I didn’t even know my ring size lol). I didn’t want to send it off to the place he bought the ring from. It was already driving me crazy not being able to wear it, so I think sending it off would not have been healthy for me lol. Patora does all in house fixes and re-​sizing.
Quick tidbits about the place: it has parking right out front. They have jewelry of all shapes, sizes, and kinds (not just rings). The staff is extremely knowledgeable and up to date on the trends. If you’re not interested in trendy jewelry, they also have timeless classics for reasonable prices. I’d like to come back here to get my wedding day necklace.
So I went to Patora on my lunch break, Friday afternoon. They said they would call me by around Monday because the jeweler was gone for the weekend. I called back the moment they opened Saturday to ask a quick question. My ring was already done! They did it on Friday. Quickest turn around I’ve ever experienced.
When we went in on Saturday, Allen Miller is the nicest, funniest, most knowledgeable guy I could ask for as my ring specialist! He joked around, which is funny because most women would not find humor in something bad happening to their ring. Such dry humor, I loved it. He was genuinely interested in my fiancé and me. He asked about what kind of wedding we wanted, what kind of careers we had, and he answered every question I had without even having to think about it.
All I was doing was going in to pick up my ring, and I left with a great experience. We also stopped by to view the men’s rings, and we found out my fiances ring size and looked through their catalog of titanium rings. This is definitely where I will be returning to get his ring and my wedding band.

Today, I went back to pick up the gold chain I dropped off on Saturday for repair. They did a great job and it had a brilliant shine! The gentleman whom waited on us Saturday also assisted me today; he was cordial, witty, and exhibited exceptional customer service throughout the entire transaction. Additionally, he went above and beyond and asked for my rings so he could clean them; and when he was finished they had a magnificent sparkle! Due to my experience being pleasant, in its entirety, with the gentleman whom assisted me, I have upgraded my original review from three to four stars.
I did not give five stars because the other staff member that saw me enter, (we did make eye contact), did not greet me, nor even smile-​maybe she was having a bad day. Nevertheless, it is good customer service for all staff members to greet customers when they see them. However, I was pleased with my overall experience and will not hesitate to return when I need further jewelry repairs or am in the market for new jewelry.
