First time here took 20 min to get my order ready. They ran out of rice and chow. So had to wait

I love Panda Express and i have never had a problem at this particular one ever. I am an IUPUI student so it is a place where i can use my JagTag to pay for my meal. Another great thing is that it is so close to campus so I can walk there or just take a short drive. I have never had bad service there either, they are always kind and welcoming. I usually order the 2 entrée’s and a side on the plate when I attend because you are getting a lot of food for your money. I have recently been getting the sweet and sour chicken with orange chicken and my side is fried or white rice. They make their food straight from the grill so you know it is fresh and not heated up in a microwave, just straight from the grill. Overall impression: Love It! I will be back many times to come!

Service here is hit and miss, as is the food quality. On good days it is outstanding. On bad days, I swear I will never come back again. Then I get hungry and hope for one of their good days and return…

Order for take away, and got two orders each had fried rice and double entrées. Got the Orange Chicken and Beef Broccoli. I was not impressed, the chicken and beef were so hard to bite on. Other than that, the food was cold. I’m not sure if I can blame them for that since it was cold outside. Overall, it’s is not that bad. I’d eat there if I had no other choice.

A year and a half and a «lifestyle change» later, I still frequent Panda Express for the occasional payday lunch. Always a solid option if you have a hankering for quick, tasty Chinese. Prices and ways to order dishes have changed a little — as have my choices in entrees. They have lots of options for those counting points and calories :). My new favorites include getting the veggies as my base and then adding the mushroom chicken, broccoli beef, or chicken with kale and shiitake mushrooms on top(Panda Bowl). Don’t be afraid to ask them to make more of something or to see when new veggies will be fired up. They are happy to help.

I realize culture specific foods tend to be made with some essential ingredients, but I was hoping for at least a little bit of diversity in the options I had here. The presentation gave me the impression that just about everything would taste the same. When I got the food I chose, I was right. Entrees were over-sauced and tasted just about identical although one was beef and the other chicken. The chow mein was good though. Steamed veggies were very dry. Also, there were several options that were unavailable(or just simply weren’t resupplied when the pan went empty). Ive had worse Chinese food but I’ve also had lots of cheap Chinese buffets that have been much more satisfying. Disappointment for such a large chain.

Granted I don’t go to Chinese restaurants because I want to keep my girlish figure but Panda Express makes it as easy as possible. They list the nutrition information about their food on their website and they also have the healthier items specially highlighted next to the actual food behind the glass in the serving area. The healthy foods are delicious to boot. Well worth a trip plus the location is great if you are visiting IUPUI, IU Med Center, Wishard Hospital, or VA Medical Center.
