Another great real deal Mexican counter order restaurant. The place doubles as a car wash biz. Ambition. This is how empires begin. Go Paco!

Can you marry a taco joint? Is that possible? Paco’s Taqueria is by far one of the best taco joints in Indy and it’s a hidden little gem right over on keystone and fall creek easy to miss. There isn’t a bad thing to order here and I hate to admit that I’ve tried almost anything here and it’s to die for. Their homemade salsa and guacamole is definitely something to add to your order… Oh and what the hell, get the queso too. Judge me or join me moment. Don’t apologize for overeating here, it’s worth it. On Sunday’s they have $ 1 tacos so that’s he best time to come! Also, before you go… Look them up on groupon because they usually are sporting a pretty good deal!

Oh Paco’s– I swore I had reviewed this amazingness– and it seems I have failed thee. Well, here’s to correcting that. I have to admit, the first time I drove by Paco’s– I was very hesitant. Needless to say– Paco’s is now a common occurrence both in my workplace and home. The inside of Paco’s is bright, clean, and fun. You order at the counter and can eat in limited seating inside(often very busy at lunch time) or take it to go. Everything is delicious– but my normal order is the Chicken Chimichanga. Guac is made to order and the queso… OHSOGOOD! Take the chance– head to tacos and give it a try. Whether you want tamales, tacos, chilaquiles, or nachos– they have it all. Make sure to grab one of their reward key tags– because you will be back.

I really like the tacos here. I occasionally stop here on my way to work. Its a small place and serves really good tacos. When its busy they don’t have enough people in kitchen so the wait time increases. Otherwise a good place to have your lunch.

The best taco place in Indianapolis, especially if you’re vegan. But I came here before I was vegan and everything has always been delicious. I am in Paco’s too often than I care to admit. Let’s just say they know my order. To name a few… the arroz con pollo, any of the tacos, burritos. Their salsa’s are extra amazing(verde & chipotle are my favorites.) I recommend it to everyone, you’re missing out if you’ve never been here!

As most anyone would be, I was leery of a restaurant/car wash but gave it a try after hearing good things! Sure didn’t disappoint. The place was clean and the tacos(shredded beef) and burrito were delicious. They were authentic tacos on corn tortillas– a huge step up from the typical Mexican restaurant fare. Prices were very reasonable and portions VERY filling. Apparently tacos are just $ 1.25 on Sundays— we’ll be back for sure!

I had a milanesa torta… it was OK. I like the decorations, food came out pretty quick. Needed the salsa to be WAY hotter though. Parking lot was a little tight, clean restrooms.

Pacos Tacos location is not the greatest, so I was already skeptical… but my husband’s groupon led us to this place. Although it was small, it was very clean. I had Arroz con pollo, served with corn tortillas. The tortillas, rice, & cheese were great, the chicken quality wasn’t the best. My husband got steak nachos… his portion seemed small & the steak quality wasn’t that great either. I wished he had more chips… he had more toppings than chips. Plus I needed chips for my giacamole. The guacamole was top notch. Amazing. 75 cents for a nice big 4 oz or better tub of guac. Homemade… delicious. Best part of the experience.

I have to preface this review by admitting I’m a snob. I like good things, nice things, high class things. Forgive me. Anyway, I have a long-standing rule that I will not eat at any establishment that is connected to(or inside) a gas station. By extension, I assumed that restaurants next to car washes would also be off my menu. Paco’s falls into this extension of my forbidden categories, and I hadn’t dropped by, despite driving by it regularly. Yesterday, that all changed. I allowed myself to be convinced to try Paco’s, despite the aforementioned carwash caveat. Wow, am I glad I did, and I’m happy eat my proverbial hat(sombrero?) in this case. Paco’s really is fantastic and a top Mexican choice in the city. Please don’t let the car wash throw you off. The interior is sparkling clean. The prices were great, and the food is as authentic Mexican as you’ll get in the midwest. I had a carnitas burrito, which was great! Really, a burrito is enough for two meals, but I pigged out and ate the whole thing.(I’m wildly curious to see what a «super burrito» is, as listed on their menu, as a regular burrito is surely enough for anyone I know.) Washed it down with a cold Corona too. We also had some chips with salsa and queso. The queso was especially good. My friends had a variety of tacos and found that the chicken tacos were perhaps their least favorite, but loved everything else. Everyone agreed that we are anxious to return. A woman ordering at the counter raved about the tamales, so that’s on my radar for next time. Highly recommended, I’m pleased to say. I’m sorry to all the other car-wash adjacent establishments that I’ve ignored in the past. Surely my loss. I’m not changing my mind about places in gas stations, but that’s only good common sense. ;) Check Paco’s out. You’ll love it.

I was here yesterday on Memorial Day to finally use my groupon for this place. It took a while for someone to acknowledge that there were customers waiting, it was around 12 pm, not sure if they just opened. The food we ordered was ready fast! We didn’t have to wait long for our order. I love tacos, so every Mexican restaurant I go too, tacos are my go to food. I got one carne asada, one al pastor, and one carnitas. Carne asada and Carnitas were delicious and the al pastor was spicy pork flavor. This is my 2nd favorite place for tacos, Carniceria Guanajuato being my first choice. The tacos are similar to tacos i have eaten in Los Angeles and Mexico. Also, ask for lime! It really enhances the tacos. They had self serve red and green squeezable sauce. The green is mild, but the red was smokin hot! It was very good, just because i love spicy. If you don’t like spicy stay away. My boyfriend got the steak mexican sandwich. It was very good. It was like eating a taco sandwich. It works somehow. Even though we were full at this point, we still attempted to eat some more and ordered tamales just to try it. We did one of each(chicken and pork) and the tamales were just okay. I think I was probably to full to enjoy the food, but it didn’t wow me. It felt too lard overloaded. Overall the food is amazingly good and I am going to attempt to come on Sundays so i can chow down on $ 1.25 tacos!

Went here for lunch on Cinco De Mayo. First time there even tho I’ve driven by it bazillions of times. I «ordered» one taco, ONE chicken enchilada, side of rice and beans. My daughter ordered con queso, chips and a chicken quesadilla. Overall we loved the food. The enchilada(S) were great. Best refried beans that Ive had anywhere. Spicy! Queso was good. Chips werent very good. Limp and greasy. MAYBE they were special chips for Cinco since they were red and green? Anyway, not the end of the world. My daughter said that it was the best quesadilla that she ever had! And we do a LOT of mexican eats Now the downside. Seems like we were«up-sold» for what we wanted to order. I told the order-taker at the counter that i wanted ONE enchilada. Well, i was given a full enchilada meal that came with rice and beans. And then was given another side order of both which was overkill. My daughter ordered her own food — so there would have been no confusing that I myself didnt want 2 orders of sides. The total was $ 28 just for a quick lunch for 2. Learned my lesson — just make it very clear what you want and leave nothing to chance. All orders are placed at the counter. No atmosphere. Feels like you’re still in Mr Dans Hamburger joint! But it doesn’t matter. The food was really good! Suggest giving it a try…

Love this place! It’s not about flashiness, it’s all about the food. Prices are very reasonable and if you can get over the location you’ll appreciate what this place has to offer. Try the taco salad and chips with queso. My personal favorite!

This is one of the places I’ll go in Indy if I want something super close to an authentic taco. Everything is fresh, the prices are pretty reasonable, the staff is friendly and the last time I went, they had real Mexican Coca-Cola. I was so happy about that! Some people hate it, but I love it. Being at Paco’s almost makes me feel like I’m back in Mexico. Almost. You can’t go wrong with any of the tacos. They’re all yummy. About the guacamole. It’s made in front of you and it’s quite good! I’m a bit of a guacamole snob, so this made me happy. I’m due for another visit.

Check this place out. Its a hidden little place off of keystone ave. If you like Mexican food, this is the place to visit. I’ve come here about 6 – 7 times in the last 30 days just to get a chicken burrito. Their menu has tons of variety, but I just can’t get past how delicious their chicken burritos actually are. I’m totally and utterly addicted to the perfect combination of sour cream, beans, rice and chicken on a golden brown tortilla. I find myself craving their food on a weekly basis. Definitely check this hidden gem out. This place should be packed 24⁄7!

I’ve driven past this place a MILLION times and never paid much attention to it, never will I make that mistake again. The establishment used to be a Taco Bell but they have completely transformed it into a nice restaurant. It is clean, the food is made to order right before your eyes and their guacamole is to die for! They are very fairly priced, have a diverse menu, and the staff is friendly. For now on whenever I have a craving for Authentic Mexican food they will be one of the first, if not THE very first places that I consider going. 5 stars from me across the board!

This family restaurant takes pride in serving up authentic Mexican dishes for dining in or carry out. Located in a former Taco Bell(also formerly Mr. Dan’s) building, they have put their love and flavor into this establishment through beautiful murals on the wall, music playing and imported sweet treats at the counter. My youngest especially loves the Jarrito’s flavored drinks. My favorite is the Lorenza salad, complete with chicken, lettace, tomatoes, avocados, black olives, red & bell peppers. We’ve been several times and try something new each trip!

Second time is a charm for getting tamales. I came before and was disappointed that no tamales were sold that night. But I had the pork tacos, which were great and vowed to be back. I happened to pass by today on an empty stomach, so stopped to try the tamales. Greeted by friendly service again, they were happy to report they did have tamales. I prefer pork tamles, so I ordered two and one chicken. Finally, I had found a pork tamale in indy that held a candle to Chicago! The pork meat was in healthy portion within the mesa. Just yum! I was not too thrilled with the chicken, but it was seasoned well, with some spice to it. But im not usually into chicken tamales if its not with cheese. I just got it to try. Both were large, but for the $ 2.50 it was a right price for the amount of food you get. Two filled me up without anything else. I overheard the owner talking about upgrade she is making, which sound exciting. I look foward to seeing those changes and eating more yummy pork tamales and tacos in the future! She did ask me if I was enjoying my food, which I stated I was(true), so I appreciated that. Tips: Cash only for the time being. They serve breakfast. I’ve never seen them open after 10pm, hours are not posted and to be honest, I’m not in the area that much.
