My husband and I have been coming here regularly for about 8 years. It’s not a fancy place. Certainly do NOT bring a date here. It’s almost like eating in a cafeteria, but it’s quiet and pleasant which we like. The buffet is very small, with almost no good seafood, but the price is extremely reasonable, $ 7 or $ 8.00 I think for dinner. I actually think they have the best hot and sour soup I have ever had. It has some heat! It’s the best. The egg rolls are very good. We both like the some of the chicken dishes, especially the sesame chicken and the pot stickers and soft service ice cream are good. I don’t have any complaints about the service. We always get the buffet, I have never ordered off the menu or done take out. I find it clean and have never had a problem with any of the food ever. Sure, it could be healthier and less fried, with more vegetable choices and seafood choices, but compared to what I have had at other restaurants that charge much much more, it’s quite good.

I’m a fan of this place! You just have to be selective about what you get at the buffet. Sadly, they don’t have a whole lot of selections. They have really good crispy wings, pork on skewers, deep fried buns and the coconut shrimp is such a guilty pleasure! =(The quality is always consistent. On the other hand, I tend to avoid their veggies since they seem to be emerged in oil. They do, however, offer steamed veggies.

As I’ve mentioned previously, I sometimes enjoy eating at questionable restaurants; you never know when you may find a diamond in the rough. Number 1 China Buffet did not make the mark. We stopped in here one day after deciding against La Hacienda(yum!) and opting, instead, for a place neither of us had ever been. Some of the food tasted alright, but most of it was barely edible. The interior was dingy and dirty, and we won’t get into the women’s restroom. I left the restaurant at around two stars. But less than five minutes after leaving, we had to speed through the parking lot and over to CVS because I was sure I was going to die. I was convinced that something similar to a creature from Alien was going to burst out of me at any moment. All in all, I really don’t recommend going to Number 1 China Buffet unless you plan to spend your evening bonding with your toilet. But hey, it’s a really great way to lose 5 pounds in one day!

Not all food was hot on the hot bar. Yikes. Food quality not really there either. Not much flavor, not much quantity, just basically making enough to say they have a buffet. Most things were dried out. We were the only ones there for almost our entire visit on a Monday at 2:30. Also, almost zero service, plates were cleared away pretty timely but nothing else. In fact, the lady owner/worker talked loudly on her phone in Chinese while clearing our plates and all her other work. It was rather annoying. She stayed perched at the bar, leaning against it talking for 15+ minutes or so. She couldn’t go to the back? Or even sit at a table? It’s not like there was anyone else here… Would I visit again? Nah. You get what you pay for so if you want cheap food, you got it.

Back when I wrote my previous review for this place, it was pretty good, and worthy of 4 stars. i forget the last time I went, probably some time in 2013. It was no longer what I would consider a 4-star place. Cleanliness and food quality had gone down hill. I think I went for supper, and the food in the hot trays had been sitting out too long. Some people might consider giving them 3-stars being too generous.

This establishment is horrible on all counts. Do not dine here under any circumstances(not even for free) unless there are marked changes. Plain nasty on many levels. No service, and I was the only one in there! My money was collected in record time, however. I make far superior Chinese food, and that’s saying something. Nothing seemed Chinese to be at all, much less had any taste.

We went to this buffet at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Maybe this place used to be alright, but frankly it was dirty. Not only were the floors not clean, the buffet items were not fresh. Would not recommend.
