For me, this place is only for drinking. It’s a low key spot to watch a game and grab a beer. The food is unimpressive. More often than not, whatever I order is blah. I’ve had the pizza, sandwiches, and breakfast and they were simply mediocre. Nothing to write home about by any means. Save your money and stick to the drinking!

I want to love this place, but I only like it, kind of. There are many better places around. For some reason we’ve been back a few times. The coffee bar is waaaay better than the restaurant for certain. If you’re going to the food, I’ve had mixed results. The breakfast buffet on the weekend is like what you might find at Big Boy’s, pass. Soup is often salty, sammies are just okay. The pizza is the best thing I’ve had, if I go back I’ll get pizza again and probably nothing else ever. If you’re going for the sport bars area for drinks, pool and fast bar food, you’ll have a pretty good time. I think, I’ve never done it but if the food doesn’t mean that much to you then I’m sure it’s fine. You’d think with that location and the awesome food nearby, they’d put more into making better if not great good. The Coffee House is the best part of this place.

Big version of a local sports bar. Many tv’s huge bar, good drinks. Didn’t eat, menu looked interesting.

If there’s a finer watering hole in Indy, I haven’t found it. Order a buffalo chicken sandwich and watch a game.

Okay, shame on me for giving this place yet another chance. I sit at the bar this time thinking that the bartenders take more pride in their business and usually give impeccable service. With that said, if you stop here and Joe is your bar keep, good luck, I hope you get better service. I initially asked for a water, thinking I’d be given the beer list, wrong. I had to ask for it, sorry I interrupted your game watching Joe. When it came time to order, I asked for the mean Mac. Somehow that request failed to be entered. My water is empty(26 minutes and counting), haven’t been asked if I wanted a beer(after my request for the beer list). I’m pretty certain I won’t return after this visit. When in SoBro, try Binkley’s, 20Tap, The Sinking Ship, or for that matter ANYWHEREOTHERTHANHERE! 33 minutes for a water refill.

I don’t often give lower star reviews, but the service was slow(even though the restaurant was almost empty), our«medium» burger came back rare(like, actually oozy in the middle) and the little things I’d expect weren’t done asparagus wasn’t trimmed, potted flowers were dead, etc. To be fair, we sat outside and there is a «help wanted» sign, so maybe this was an isolated experience.

We stopped here just by chance. We were in a hurry and couldn’t find parking at other restaurants. As we pulled up a space opened up and we stopped. I’m glad we did. They had the best ribs I think I’ve ever had(spicy)! The fry’s were amazing too. Service was quick and with a smile. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Next time we’re in Indy we’ll have to stop by!

The first sign to any patron should be how empty the interior is on a Friday night. If you are wandering in here because you are to impatient to wait for Tap Twenty or other highly rated restaurants nearby, your gonna be disappointed. The service was the only redeemable quality here. The food was«sports bar» of the lowest order. My experience included having my «bacon burger» come complete with pre-cooked microwaveable bacon.

Breakfast not so good and we seated ourselves which was a mistake. Asked for Cheese on my eggs and they put an unmelted cold slice of cheese on the eggs plus the service is slow. Coffee Good!

Moe and Johnny’s is. .. gross. It’s like bad small-town diner food, only it’s Indianapolis so there’s not really an excuse for that. Greasy food, uninspired menu, sub-par service. Pass.

I went in this evening to have a drink with a buddy and it was mediocre. I decided to meet him there because he was telling me about these pulled pork egg rolls. I tell ya they were some of the best egg rolls I have ever had. That’s about where the good in the visit stops. The service was amazingly horrible. I ordered a drink before my food and actually got the food before I ever received a drink. Some random server asked us a dozen times of everything was good until we actually got our stuff then they were never to be heard from again. I finally managed to flag a waitress down to get another drink and it took another 20 some minutes to get that. Well after that I decided it was time to roll. Not sure if I’ll be back, this bad service thing seems to be becoming a norm for here. Sad

Service here was atrocious. We sat at the bar and I cannot stress how terrible the service was. It was a slow Sunday night and the bartender did just about everything he could to avoid us. I was not able to get a second beer after being here for two hours. He never stopped over to ask how our food was tasting or if we needed anything else. He left dirty plates in front of us. Finally a bar back came over and had to get our check for us. I will NOT be back to the bar. Possibly give the restaurant service another chance.

Great for a variety of things; casual dates, get togethers with friends. They even cater to groups getting together to knit and drink. It’s fun! The private lot fills up fast, but there’s street parking.

This place is great. Went here for the first time with my interns to grab a bite to eat and I was hooked! I always get the meals with Ribs. Few things I am not a fan of. If you want to sit outside and enjoy your meal with the elements, you have to eat smoke as well. That really sucks as the summers are already so hot it’s hard to breathe, but then you have to deal with secondhand smoke as well. The service from the waitress is also so great, but only until they take your order. After that, it’s hard to get a drink refill and they hardly check on your. Good thing the food is always hot and fresh! I love the food and the environment so that makes up for it. Don’t be afraid of the parking, I always find a spot!

This place is mediocre at best. The menu isn’t anything special, the food is very okay… when you have so many other tasty options in the neighborhood, wouldn’t you want to strive to stand out more?

My entire party got terrible food poisoning and a call to management wasn’t met with many apologies. Even before this incident, I didn’t think the food was anything to write home about and the place smells like stale cigarette smoke. You can find better… its Broad Ripple.

I like the menu here, and I was steered to the cranberry apple salad. I didn’t realize that it was one of those: «This salad is about to go bad, push the salad» situations. Limp lettuce that was in the dressing too long to be very desirable. If I had that same salad the day before it would have been pretty good. Companion had a very tasty club sandwich, good bread — thin sliced turkey and ham. Indicates that anyone can have a bad day on the salad, they made up for it on the club. Sitting outside on a beautiful sunny fall day — I can’t complain.

A solid sports bar type place in SoBro. They usually have some decent beer specials. Every time I stop by here, I have to get the chicken tenders dinner. These chicken tenders are colossal and so good! French fries or tater tots are a great accompaniment. I would also recommend getting the wings as an appetizer– they are quite tasty! Service has always been reliable and good. This place seems to fill up when Colts games are on, so if you are planning on watching a game here, I would come early to get a seat!

I’ve visited Moe & Johnny’s several times since my first review and have been more than satisfied at the way they care for their customers. Have you tried their Sunday breakfast buffet?! I took the entire crew a few weeks ago to fuel them before asking for help moving, and at $ 7.95, I don’t know of a better deal in town. It comes complete with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs benedict, muffins and fresh fruit. If you’re up for a little hair of the dog, they also have pretty awesome Blood Marys too! Considering its biking distance, I think it’s fast becoming one of my new favorite hangs, especially since I can take my girlies. The patio is nice and peaceful, good people watching corner location.

I’ve driven down College countless times and have always seen people milling about, so on a lovely Thursday afternoon I decided to stop by and have dinner at Moe & Johnny’s /The Cornerstone Coffee Shop. My first question. it is a restaurant? Is it a coffee shop? Can I get drinks here? The answer is yes to all of the above. Picture a cute little coffee shop with comfortable seats, folks hanging out to grab free wifi, a dude sitting outside on the patio with a pooch drinking a local craft beer, and you’ve got a good start on imaging what the heck this place is about. Food: The menu is bar-type food. Lots of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and some entrees, not to mention a decent selection of side and entrée-sized salads. I asked my server for some assistance in picking out a burger, and was a little disappointed when she told me she was a vegetarian. Not to worry though. having encountered this before, I instead asked«what burger to people tend to order and eat every bite?»: Ah. that would be the bacon and mushroom burger. SOLD! I also upgraded to the roasted potatoes for an expense $ 2 up-charge in this reviewers opinion. The verdict: Burger was cooked to perfection, was juicy and had that lovely grilled taste that will always prevent me from giving up meat. The bacon was also very well prepared — not too crispy and not too soggy. As for the mushrooms, there were so many they were falling off the bun, which is exactly how it should be when you order a Mushroom Burger. I happily scooped up the escaped bites of mushroom with my fork and devoured each and every one of them. The roasted potatoes(that cost me $ 2) were good, but they lacked seasoning. Salt didn’t seem to help the cause; they needed some type of seasoning while they were cooking. I’ll be back, but I probably won’t pay for the upgraded side. I can see myself hanging out here after work, either sipping a coffee or knocking back a few of Indiana’s local beers they have on tap(or in the bottle). Maybe I’ll see you there!
