I see Nicole for laser hair removal on my face. For years I’ve been embarrassed by my facial hair due to PCOS. I tried tweezing, but the removal was only temporary — And I was seeking a more permanent solution. Getting laser hair removal has significantly reduced the amount of hair on my face (I still see improvements each time I go), improved the appearance of acne scars, and has boosted my self-​confidence greatly. And Nicole has been so professional and encouraging through this humbling yet rewarding journey. I highly recommend getting a service in this well-​maintained and friendly establishment if you want to pamper yourself or get a little confidence boost — they’ll take great care of you!

I’m halfway through a 6 session laser hair removal Groupon with Nicole at Sparkle, and this definitely won’t be one of those «hit it and quit it» Groupon experiences! Nicole is great, very patient with my incredibly low pain threshold, and even makes the experience of being pantsless somehow not awkward! I will definitely be picking up another package for her services once this one is done, I hear her facials are to die for!

Nicole’s facials are the best! I have gotten a few facials before that were more like a face wash and massage with little results. Nicole is an amazing esthetician that has taken time to understand my skin and work with me on a routine that has been working! I have acne prone sensitive skin and she goes above and beyond taking extra time to steam and treat. I have received many compliments on how my skin has been glowing and my breakouts have been almost non-​existent. I just finished a 6 facial package and am already signed up for another. This review is long overdue. I visited Sparkle and her staff last June after buying a Groupon for a mani/​pedi. I wanted to get both done in preparation for attending Zoobilation. My appointment was for the evening prior to the event and unfortunately, their pedicure chair wasn’t working. I was super bummed, because I had no time to reschedule before the event. Not their fault though; things happen. I went on in for my manicure and was extremely pleased. Everyone is SOOO nice there! They are definitely focused on pampering their customers and making sure they leave very pleased. The next day, the pedicure chair was working and I had decided to take the afternoon off of work, so they got me right in!
During my visit on the day of the event, they kept suggesting that I get my makeup done. I am not a person who would ever pay to have my makeup done, but finally figured, why not? I got my eyes done and had eyelash extensions applied. So glad I did! Sparkle did an amazing job!
Here is where my experience went over the top. I was explaining to Sparkle that I had no idea how we were going to get to Zoobilation as I assumed all Ubers and Lyfts would be occupied, cabs would be busy and we had failed to find a private driver that was available. She responded, «How many people do you have? I have an SUV and I will take you!» Not only did Sparkle pick up my friends in the Broad Ripple area, then pick up the rest of us downtown and drive us all to Zoobilation, but she picked us up again around midnight and returned all of us back home! We gladly paid her what we planned to pay a driver for the night, but I don’t think she expected anything at all. Sparkle was a life-​saver that night!
A couple of additional notes: They serve wine :) Sparkle has her own make up line, so all of the cosmetics they use are from her line.
If you are in need of makeup services, etc., definitely consider going here. You will love them!

I have been going to Sparkle for Laser hair removal– the place is great. The team is so nice and educated on a variety of different procedures. I have already started to see the results. I am so glad I decided to go. I was completely nervous at my first visit but was quickly comforted my the outstanding team. I would recommend them to everyone! If you are thinking about laser hair removal– you will love the results!

I bought a Groupon for a gel mani and pedi and wasn’t sure what to expect. I did have to book my appointment several weeks out due to low availability, and had to wait about 15 minutes after my appointment time to start my service, but it was well worth it!
My nails look fantastic, and the overall experience was very relaxing and intimate. There is only one nail station, so it’s a nice change to the many busy cheap salons around the city. It’s a small, cozy space, but it also give off a chic and classy vibe. It’s in a great location as well!
I was given a glass of wine and asked what Pandora station I prefer to listen to during my appointment as soon as I walked in the door. The two employees in the salon were extremely friendly and down to earth. I’m new to the downtown area and the woman doing my nails gave me a ton of restaurant and nightlife suggestions — personable employees is a huge plus for me!
If you usually treat yourself to mani/​pedis, or are just looking for a nice treat, I highly recommend checking this place out! I look forward to returning!

THE. BEST. MASSAGE. EVER! And it takes a lot to wow me. Katey is absolutely amazing and has spoiled me for all other massage therapists. She tailored the massage to what I needed… which was apparently elbows, forearms and fingers digging into the stubborn knots on my back (in a good and really effective way) with a little relaxing kneeding along the way.
Everyone in the salon was nice and totally down-​to-​earth. No Mass Ave attitude, just girlfriends hanging out — AWESOME!

I purchased a Groupon for 3 signature facials. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I’ve been to other salons with deals and the service I received was sub-​par. I shouldn’t have worried, as my experience was just as excellent as had I paid full price. The salon is easy to find on Mass — and, at 11 on a Saturday morning, parking was plentiful.
The treatment room was cozy but comfortable. The table/​bed I was on was amazing! It even had armrests, solving that awkward what-​do-​I-​do-​with-​my-​arms dilemma one can face. (Ah, first world problems.) The esthetician was friendly and professional. The products (PCA, I think) were top notch. I walked out with glowing skin and feeling much more relaxed than when I walked in.
A bit of advice, if you’ve never had a facial — your hair, despite their best efforts, will get messed up. Don’t plan on going anywhere after your facial except back home!
