Tacos are larger than normal(stuffed full and two corn tortillas each) and DELICIOUS. I’d go as far to say the best tacos in Indy(at least so far based on the ones I’ve had). I highly recommend the carnitas. Chicharron is also very good. Very authentic. If you’re not Mexican, you’ll probably be the only non-Mexican person there. 2 tacos is plenty, I’d only get 3 if you were really hungry.

I recently moved down the street and was looking for avocados when I can upon a Mexican grocery called«Supermercado Gigante». I figured they would have good avocados. I was disappointed that the avocados werent very ripe but was pleasantly surprised to find a Los Mas Ricos. As you may know it’s not surprising to find a taqueria in the back of a Mexican grocery, it’s actually fairly common, but they can be pretty hit or miss. Los Mas Ricos was on point though. Our tacos were all served the basic style of meat, cilantro, and onion only, which is how i like it. I ordered a lengua taco and a chorizo taco. The lengua(cow tongue) was stewed in a sauce which was new to me, most places I’ve been just served up grilled cubes of plain meat. It was delicious, if not a little fattier than I’m used to. The chorizo was pretty standard but very tasty, as was the carne asada my friend ordered. They have a lot of choices for meats but only serve some of them on the weekend, you just have to ask. Tacos averaged about $ 250 each, which is a little higher than average but still well worth the money. If you’re in the area and looking for another place to try some authentic Mexican food(there are Mexican restaurants everywhere around here) look for the giant yellow awning and head to the back of the store. You can also get you’re taxes done here btw
