L’Occitane

Gwen was amazing, very sweet and gave excellent customer service! Totally recommend her.

Today we visited here first time. We recommend better customer service for a Sunday morning after Thanksgiving. Only one person working and they put us on hold for 2 – 4 minutes with no return to the phone in meantime while I was waiting. And I did not prefer the attitude of the lady working behind the counter. Broad customer service was lacking.

I’ve been a L’Occitane client long before the company had much of a presence in the U.S.
Though the product range, packaging and some other aspects of L’Occitane have changed over the years, I still always manage to find something here I cannot live without.
Consistently good quality, natural ingredients and unique formulas are what keeps me coming back.
L’Occitane’s products are best experienced firsthand and it is hard to do most of them justice within a written review. That said, it is good to go in with a little education under your belt, so here goes:
This is not the kind of place with fruity, trendy scented goodies — think the total opposite of The Body Shop.
This IS a store with several sophisticated head-​to-​to personal care lines that also have rather sophisticated scents, nearly all of them derived from natural scents in some percentage or another.
Some of L’Occitane’s products are intended solely to offer benefits and therefore may not have what one would consider a «fragrance» at all — that is no reason not to purchase them — case in point: the Almond body contouring line — LOVE IT!
Great store to get excellent (and not overly commercial) fragrances for your guy — try the L’Occitan, Vetiver and Eaux de Baux — yum!
If you’re a fan of shea butter products, this is the only place to go — extensive selection and great formulas that don’t skimp on this wonder ingredient for dry skin.
Also not to be missed: the incense and candles.
