Laundry & Tan Connection

This is a great place. The attendants are always on top of it — cleaning the place, helping when the machines don’t work (not an often occurrence), washing rugs, and even holding the door open for you if they’re nearby. I don’t tan here but I do encourage folks to do laundry here.
The prices are fair. $ 2 or so for washing, and a variety of dryers (regular and hyper large ones. The place is very well lit. It can be busy (depending on the time) but it can also be dead. Since its open 24 hours, there are lots of opportunities to get laundry done. There are also televisions around; a lot of times I’ve seen TNT on, but overall its a variety of channels. There’s also a game room with some arcade games but they can steal your quarters sometimes. But tell the attendant and they’ll help you.
I only wish for 3 things:
1. Wifi. This is advertised but the signal is so weak I don’t even bother trying. sigh.
2. Automatic doors! Come on, friends. We are bringing giant laundry bags in. Give us automatic doors.
3. There needs to be a ramp to help folks with disabilities and elderly folks use carts to get their laundry

I just stopped here and the only attendant is asleep in one of the tanning beds. Needless to say I left. This is so unfortunate because I have always loved this chain and have never had a problem like this with one of their 24 hour locations. I have called the phone, paged the number (as instructed at the desk per a small sticky note) and done everything aside from physically waking the man up, which I’m not comfortable with. So disappointed as this is the closest place to my home.
