I’ll admit this gym has great potential. It’s clean, it’s new, and all of the cardio equipment have TVs attached. So what’s the problem? Why is this gym not meeting it’s full potential? The staff. To me, the staff has always been friendly. The huge issue here is multiple times I have overheard the trainers and other associates make snide remarks to each other about individuals who are just starting out on their fitness journey. These snarky comments include everything from the weight of the gym goers, to flat out laughing at them over their technique. It’s hard enough for some people to get to the gym, the last thing they need is cruelty from the gym staff.

I am repeativitly getting emails from LA Fitness addressing me by my first and last name saying I have missed payments in my membership. I have never been in an LA Fitness. Someone signed up in my name, with my email, while I was overseas in the military. LA Fitness has been completely incompetent in dealing with this. The first time I called stating my situation they said they don’t sent emails. I called back after a private session was booked in my name.(Then they said someone must have the same name, highly unlikely as I have only met 3 other people with my first name and no one outside my family with my last name). LA Fitness said they would remove me from the emails. I get another email and track down an unsubscribe link and click the slections to unsubscribe. I am still getting emails. In all I have gotten 10 – 15 emails I. The past 2.5 mths. I can’t believe a company can be so incompetent that they can’t figure this out. I can’t imagine using them as a gym if they are this difficult to stop getting false emails from them.
