Knotts Optometry

Dr. Knotts and her staff are professional, caring and a delight. I trust her with my and my families vision care and would recommend her to any one needing a quality, caring professional.

I first went to see Dr. Knotts on the recommendation of a coworker. I’ve worn glasses for more than 30 years (waaaah) so having a solid eye doctor is important to me. The office is warm and inviting, and everyone who works there is very friendly. Dr. Knotts tells it like it is but she also has a great way about her. I’ve worn contacts since I was 16 and, no joke, I’ve the best experience since Dr. Knotts has been fitting me. She isn’t afraid to move me into a different brand of lens if she thinks it will be the best fit for my eyes, both of which now require toric lenses (sigh).
The office can be a bit tricky to find — you turn onto Rucker from Binford and then have to drive around the office park. Her office actually faces Binford. The location is pretty great whether you are coming from downtown or the north side.
I’ve recommended Dr. Knotts to several friends and my husband sees her as well. I just wish she wouldn’t remind me how my bad my habitual use of my laptop, phone and Kindle are for my eyes. Or, as she likes to say, good for her business. :-)
