Johnny’s is the only place that I will buy annuals from. Their flowers are just beautiful and their produce is out of this world!!! The people who work there are always friendly and able to help.

Decent. .sometimes excellent stuff… convenient to BR. Well worth checking out… but call ahead as they are often out of things you might expect them to have.

When it comes to flowers I ALWAYS find what I want at Johnny’s! They have a better selection of flowers then the Lowe’s by me and I find they are about the same price. They haven’t had fruits and vegetables the three times I’ve been so far so I can’t comment on those yet. The staff is great and always helpful and friendly. Definitely my go to when it comes to flowers!

Great produce, plants, and staff. I live very near Sullivan’s at 49th& Penn. When I recently asked about a discount on two large geranium pots(which Johnny’s offers), I was advised that they would offer a discount on 20! Needless to say, I headed straight for Johnny’s and was not disappointed. They sell quality plants and produce at reasonable prices and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. I will buy all my plants/flowers at JM from now on. And, like other reviewer(s), LOVE the tomatoes!

Locally owned garden shop with great selection of reasonably priced service. Family run. Also locally grown and nearby grown produce like tomatoes. A great family seasonal business.

Johnny’s looks a bit empty right now… just some pumpkins, deco-gourds and a few branches of bittersweet for sale at this time of year. I love this market all the same. We always get some of our spring flowers and other plants here and we stop by to get fresh produce when we’re in the area. Years ago over on Michigan Rd. and 56th Street, there was a fantastic fruit and vegetable stand called Gillum’s Produce. Since it closed, I think Johnny’s is about the only place left like it. I like farmer’s markets as much as the next person, but I don’t always have the time, energy or patience to hit those on whatever their appointed day is — especially since most are on Saturdays. I do wish Johnny’s was open all year. When I lived abroad I loved going to one shop for the best produce, another for the best dairy, etc. etc… I think I’ve brought this up in another review. Great, now I’m repeating myself :-) At any rate, be sure to hit Johnny’s next spring, they always have beautiful bedding plants.
