Jerrold Goldsmith, DDS FAGD

Everyone was wonderful from the time I walked in the door. Adam at Intake was amazing from the moment he first returned my email with a phone call within 5 min. The assistant was thoughtful, kind and personable (sorry — I don’t remember her name). Dr. Goldsmith spent a lot of time with me. He was considerate and sincere. I need to have a considerable amount of dental work done and I’m thrilled that I found a dentists that is this great and so close to my office.

I went to Dr Goldsmith because he accepts my insurance. (HIP plus) My first appointment was for a cleaning and his hygienist was very friendly thorough and very informative. Upon discovering that I have some decay under my existing fillings we decide to schedule an appointment to take care of those cavities. When I arrived to my appointment to take care of 2 of the 3 fillings he gave me a shot without even numbing me first. Nor did he wait for the novacain to take effect. Once he started drilling it was very painful to say the least. He was very agitated that I could not hold still and I was crying. He did give me a second shot and told me that I should have warned the staff that I had dental phobias. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN AFRAID OF A DENTIST! By the time I got done (an hour later) the corner of my mouth was extremely painful and cut open. He told me to come back tomorrow to finish up polishing and to do the last remaining filling.
I kept my appointment. Even though mouth is so sore and the corner of my mouth is so raw I can barely open my mouth. I explained that I could not keep my mouth open to get the last cavity filled because I was cut so bad yesterday. He says I must have bit on myself. I told him that i told the assistant yesterday AND the front office staff my mouth was cut when I left yesterday. He said I should have let them know ahead of time so I could have been sedated. I have never needed sedation in my 40 years of going to dentist. Now my very back molar is so tender I can not bite down and the one in front of it is so jagged it cuts my tongue. This was the worse dentist I have ever been to in my life. I am very upset that I have injuries from what should have been a simple procedure. Also I believe he cut out so much of my tooth that it is nearly all filling now and so sensitive to pressure or cold. He did adjust my bite a little bit and told me to come back AGAIN to polish. I very much hate to go to another dentist to correct the work he did but at the same time I am horrified to go back to risk more injury. I absolutely will not let him fill my last tooth. Nor will I go back to his hygienist even though she was very good. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR GOLDSMITH AT ALL.
I only give one star for his friendly staff.

I started taking my family to this office a little over a year ago and have been pleased. I would recommend it to a friend. Adam runs the office very efficiently and always follows up on everything he says he will, without question. Shawn, Cheryl, and Dr. Goldsmith all seem knowledgable and are friendly. I have ended up with unexpected bills from other dentists in the past that upset me, and this office makes sure to get the straight answers from my insurance for me on everything so there are never any surprises. It is a well run business.

Before you go to this doctor, get your wallet ready and get copy in writing of everything they tell you they are going to do.
I chose that doc because his educational videos on his website looked promising I thought he had good intentions and I thought he was a pro.
They quoted me $ 5000 to put in 1 crown and a root canal. More than other dentists would’ve charged + he charged me $ 5350. The $ 350 they charges for so called «x-​rays» and their website says «new patients — $ 99.xtrays» I was a new patient and will never go back to him again.
He did «complimentary» teeth whitening for me and my teeth got super sensitive during treatment it became pure horror. They still hurt once in a while out of blue.
I called the doctor’s office asked why I was charged extra $ 350? They said it was for x-​rays. They never told me ahead of time they were going to charge x-​tra. He said that everything was included in my $ 5000 fee.
Their office space is like one big closet. Very little space. Only good thing about his practice, they had a good dental hygienist. That’s about it.
