Janie and Jack at the Keystone mall gets 5 stars for the most adorable preppy baby clothes! Clothes here are expensive but perfect for doting grandparents and special occasion outfits. If your baby needs a 3 piece seersucker suit and tie with a newsboy cap and loafers – no problem!(Get other painfully adorable outfit ideas from their website or facebook page.) Of course they also have plenty of basics, so definitely hit up the sale racks in the back as other reviewers have noted – stock up on bigger sizes for the future and next season. They carry newborn to about size 8 kids clothes and accessories.

Babies and adorable clothes — that alone with rate you four stars. Throw in excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and great sales, you’ve got a home run. Janie and Jack is synonymous with charming. Children’s apparel at its best. Being a new grandmother and the first boy in the family I wanted something different than Carter’s. My expectations were fulfilled. Pricey — a tad. Sweaters sell for around $ 40+, pants $ 40 and t-shirts $ 26. However their sale prices cannot be beat. The same $ 46.00 pants can be grabbed for $ 11.99. Old fashioned service(yes the staff attends to you) and beautifully places the garments between folds of tissue paper, a gold seal in a designer box. I love it!

When I moved here, I was beyond shocked and delighted that they have this store in Indy. Apparently, it’s the only store in the entire state! They have wonderful clothes for your little ones. It’s on the pricey side but I will suggest stock up few sizes bigger when they go on sale. The designs are timeless and really preppy. My son looks amazing on the sweaters I bought here and I always get complements.

If you need a sweet, super soft and cuddly gift for a new baby, or even for an older child(up to about size 8), head over to The Fashion Mall and check out Janie and Jack, where you’ll find the most adorable clothing you’ve seen in a very long time. This store is not a local mom-and-pop shop, but it’s worth mentioning on here because the clothing is so well made and so much nicer than almost anything else you’ll find around. It’s actually part of the Gymboree Company, but these clothes seem to be a step up from even that. They are more«boutique» in style, I think, and the prices reflect that. Be ready to spend a pretty, shiny penny on anything you get here. But it’s worth it. Especially if you’re shopping for a new baby. These clothes are so delicate and precious, almost as much as the baby that will be wearing them.
