Financial aid SUCKS! They are rude, & act as if its a problem that you ask them a question that requires them to do their job. I think the reason people go to Ivy Tech is because it’s accredited vs harrison, medtech, brown mackie (the 18 month) schools. At the 18 moth schools their tuition is outrageous & usually you can’t transfer to a four year school. Ivy Tech is actually pretty cheap. My suggestion is do as much research you can & start as early as you can before enrolling. Maybe even a semester ahead so that you don’t have any hiccups.

The nursing program for Indianapolis is based out of this campus!
A few tips:
*Student parking is in the rear of the building and is most easily accessed by 56th street, instead of 59th. You will avoid a lot of slow moving traffic!
*Nursing offices are located on the 2nd floor and they have their own reception area which helps if you need nursing info vs. general student info!
*computer access is free but it costs $ to print!
*if you are a general student this a great campus to go to vs. the downtown campus, a lot smaller classes and shorter wait times for things like financial aid, advisors, etc.
