While I love the idea of a community gathering place to get together and be active and healthy, Indy Sports Park could reeeeeaaallllyy use some improvements. They’ll nickel and dime you. It’s a $ 3 admission for anyone(including people who’ve already paid to play in leagues), cash only, and no ATM + a $ 3 fee to run a card. That’s just to get in the door. Bathrooms could use more than a hearty scrub, and while the courts themselves seem fine and well-kept, the scheduling and management of leagues gets messed up quite a bit. Again, I hate to write a negative review of a place advocating exercise and team camaraderie, but I really think this place needs some help to meet its full potential!

The sports park makes it easy to get together with friends on a weekly(or more) basis. They have a very well structured system for the softball leagues, they serve good cheap food and cold cheap beer! They host fund raising events for the community and they offer more than just softball, i.e. volleyball, soccer, flag football, corn hole, and more
