The fried chicken was amazing. I normally prefer dark meat, this chicken breast was melt in your mouth. This is a very nice place, will be back during my stay. Oh yeah, best men’s room ever.

Quickie Review: Visit at your own risk. Oh have the mighty fallen… I once ate here 3 days in one week because I was addicted to their mac and cheese. It was my #1 of all time favorite. WAS now being the keyword. First off, again, back then the service was great. This time we waited longer for a server to tend to us than it took for us to get our food. She never even came back to refill our water. Then, when I got my coveted mac and cheese, I was surprisingly disappointed with what I saw. The old mac and cheese came in a big bowl and was topped with chicken. This new version was on a plate, 1⁄3 the portion, and, yes, had no chicken. I have no clue how they can justify having a $ 14 price tag on it now in comparing it to my new list of favorite mac and cheese’s. Why is it that people change things when they’re not broken? Maybe I’ll give them another chance with a different menu item in the future, but not anytime soon. I need time to heal from this cheesy scar…

We went here because it was right next to our hotel and I love watching Andrew Luck play. Oh wow is this place a disappointment. There wasn’t very many people there. There beer and wine list was quite limited and it took forever to get our drinks. I ordered the Mac and cheese since everyone was raving about it. It’s the worse Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. You’re better off making Mac and cheese at home. Then my mom got the apple Gorgonzola salad and that had no flavor whatsoever. The apples were dry, lettuce was limp, and the dressing was gross. I would highly recommend not going to this place.

Came on Friday after thanks giving and clearly had the C squad working. Service wasn’t great. Didn’t have the ingredients for the first drink I wanted so had to select something else. Did they forget the alcohol? Tasted like garbage. Food was decent, but in Indiana no one should be able to mess up a pork tenderloin. Won’t be back.

Oh Colts Grille… I had such high expectations as I am such a colts fan! Where to begin… I will start at my latest experience. I went with two others to watch the Colts vs Panthers game on a Monday night. When we got there five minutes into the game… It WASNTEVENON! Hello?! COLTS grille you say? Why aren’t you playing the game? After asking to turn it on, we were told by the server he would have to ask his manager. I’m confused. A sports bar that has to ask to change to the most popular game in Indianapolis? Finally, the game is turned on. With no sound. Next, it takes 15 minutes to get a beer. They have a decent selection of beers on tap, but good luck getting one! I have visited this place a multitude of times and always leave feeling disappointed with the service and overall quality I experience. This last time was the cherry on top to make sure I never go back. Colts grille, please get it together… You have a lot to live up to with a name like that.

I guess I will start this review off by saying that I do not like giving bad reviews, but I also want to be honest about my experience so I’m struggling with this one. We visited the Colts Grille on Sunday for the Broncos game, and I just wasn’t impressed at all. I feel like everything was over priced, I mean our nachos were $ 16… that left me baffled. They were just chicken nachos, not crab or something special, just chicken. My drink was $ 10 and my waitress spilled it on me, and then continued to make comments about how she didn’t do it, while my lap is soaking wet. I didn’t care who did it, I just really wanted a towel. After bringing me napkins at my request, we also had to ask for another drink. I have been a server before I feel like she should have just brought me a new drink, but instead she kept making comments about it not being her fault. She made a comment about my friend ordering two desserts for our table, stating he must be high, it was inappropriate. I think there are such a huge variety of restaurants downtown and a lot of good ones at that, I probably will not ever return here again. On a positive side, we won the game, GOCOLTS!

Had a great time here with Sophie, watching the Purdue football game(they won) and consuming some great food and drinks. This is a great place to watch sports! There were at least 20 televisions. We ordered the shrimp appetizer. It was nice and crispy, and the shrimp were quite small but there were plenty of them for both of us(too many, in fact). The sauce was not spicy enough or salted enough for me, but Sophie liked it. And there was no sauce on the salad underneath, thus it was very dry. I ordered the fire grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was nice and juicy, and the ciabatta bun was fresh. The avocado was sliced too thick for me, so I removed it. Sophie ordered the pan fried chicken. It was served with mashed potatoes covered by a bacon-infused, corn and spinach gravy. The gravy was great, but too heavy for the dish. It was still really good, though. By the way, we also had a side order of sweet potato fries, and they were awesome!

Annoyed! I’m at the colts grill right now. I came in early to seat at a 4 top table in the dining room to have lunch with my wife and another couple before the game. They sat us at a table under the big screen that shared a booth bench seat. No problem. There was a party in the private room next door to were we were sitting. The table directly across from us had a reserve sign. Then 13 people sat around a 4 top table. We asked to be moved since this was now extremely uncomfortable. We were told we couldn’t. We paid the check and let. The manager never addressed the problem until we were walking out. The manager did apologize and gave us a $ 25 gift card. I told him I won’t be back and he told me to give the card to someone else. I would have came back if he came over to the table and apologized or addressed the issue with the party. The food was awesome. The loaded tots were amazing. Casey our server did a good job. I just wish our situation was handled better. I don’t understand why we were punished when I got there early at 10 am.

These guys have the worst manager ordering booze. It’s Thursday night– no Jack Daniels, no Jim Beam, no flavored whiskeys. Totally weak. Also, I despise having someone see me while I pee. Please replace your weird mirror in the men’s bathroom so I don’t inadvertently make eye contact with a dude while I have my dong in my hand.

I have to say this is an awesome option for a vegetarian that still wants to eat at a bar while watching a game! Nachos were piled high and the spinach and artichoke dip was hot and creamy! Our server was attentive and the atmosphere is lively and fun!

this place is really nice, it’s my opinion they should move away from the colts theme and give it a better name… but they know the business better than me. it’s a large bar space that is very convenient to several hotels. the food is above average as long as you don’t stray too far from the bar basics. tons of HDTVs to catch the big game. large irregular circle bar bar with a stone bar top without a rail, nice wooden bar face with vertical colts panels, and a large box foot rest. the bar center is again very nice with taps, bottle shelves and several HDTVs. normally dim lighting. service is good. with i could give 3.5 stars and will definitely be back, next time hopefully with a larger group. think the colts grille is perfect for groups.

Good was only okay. We waited for about twenty minutes to get the drinks we ordered. The waiter got my order wrong and gave me something I’m allergic to — that I did NOT order. They remade the meal. We got the checks and they messed up the checks and charged us for TWO meals since they had to remake my meal. The meal should have been comped because they got it wrong and I had to wait when everybody else got their meals and was almost finished by the time I got my meal. I would suggest that you pick a different place to eat. This is not worth the money or your time that you wait which is at least twice as long as any other sit down restaurant. I’m surprised this place is still open. GOSOMEWHEREELSE!!!

Foods decent. Waited an hr for a salad and a grilled chicken sandwich. Spoke with Chris the manager he was apologetic and he offered to take care of us. Which was nice. Drunk guys that were loud disturbed us were annoying. Probably won’t be back.

Despite having lived in Indianapolis my whole life, I’m not a huge fan of the Indianapolis Colts. However, the food at Colts Grille really surprised me. Is it slightly overpriced for what you get? Yes. But is it good? Absolutely. I really like the Pick 2 lunch combinations for $ 10 — choose between sandwiches, daily soups(Tomato Basil on Tuesday!!) and some really healthy salads(KALE!). I’ve also enjoyed the nachos even though they could feed a small army. The Nando’s/UK lover in me freaked out when I saw they have Peri Peri sauce to put on top of hummus. The food and sports bar atmosphere alone make this place 4 stars, but I took it a star down for the service I had on my most recent visit. Not only was it slow, but the waitress came out and said she had accidentally rang in whole sandwiches instead of the half sandwiches we had ordered. Instead of, oh you know, saying«you get the whole sandwich for the price of the half… yay» she said we could pay $ 2 more or only get half the sandwich. What? We didn’t push it, but we were left a little confused by the whole incident and were happy with our half sandwiches and not paying extra. We thought if she had made the mistake, it wouldn’t be on us to pay for that. Bottom line, any sports lover will be happy here with the amount of TVs showing games and the variety of sports they feature. Definitely think this is a great place for lunch with coworkers. I don’t think I would ever choose Colts Grille if I was picking a place to eat, but I wouldn’t not come here if others wanted to.

My wife and I were in town for a few days and stopped by here to watch Game 6 of the Stanley Cup. I was thinking that being in Indiana there wouldn’t be too many Blackhawks fans but I was wrong. We sat in the bar area and they switched many of the TVs to the hockey game. We normally like to get mozzarella sticks but unfortunately they don’t have those. We went with the fried pretzels for the appetizer and wow were they good.(get the cheese dip instead of the mustard, yum!) We both ordered the BBQ bacon burger which was good but too messy and too much to eat.(I prefer smaller/thinner burgers) The atmosphere was exciting and there were several intense Blackhawks fans at the bar which made it even more fun. Thankfully the Blackhawks pulled it out and the place was hopping. The waiter kept us hydrated and constantly checked on us. He even apologized for checking on us so much, but we were glad he didn’t forget about us. Also, there is a lot of signed Colts memorabilia around the place which is pretty cool even for a Bears fan. :) The one-way mirror above the urinals in the men’s bathroom was quite interesting.

Highly underwhelming. The first time I ate here, I probably would’ve given it three stars, but my most recent dining experience left much to be desired. First off, I think their menu just didn’t have much going on. I know it’s a bar, but some bars still manage to have good food with a variety of different types of foods and price points. Not so much here. I wasn’t feeling a burger and fries and I also wasn’t feeling spending $ 25+ on an entrée so I opted for the flatbread. I didn’t think it would fill me up quite enough though, so I ordered a side salad. This side salad was $ 4 and had a wimpy handful of wilted lettuce and two grape tomatoes. I asked for croutons and they said they were out. Meh. What a waste. Flatbread was okay, but as I figured, it was not very filling. Boyfriend got some sort of burger. It was so greasy that the bun was sopping wet. Not very appetizing either. If I’m in Downtown Indy, there are a plethora of other restaurants available that I would eat at before I came here again. The location is good as there aren’t a lot of choices on the west side of downtown. The two times I’ve been here were times I was going to see a show either at the White River State Park or the IRT, so it was close by. I’ll walk out of my way next time.

Had a quick lunch up at the bar here. I ordered the Colts burger. I liked the menu options and also the restaurant looked cool as a theme was of course football. Unfortunately my burger was a burnt hockey puck… I ordered medium well but what I got was fire burnt. It was dry and I only choked down half of it. I will say that the guy next to me had a burger and it looked amazing. I really think mine was just a fluke thing. I will be back and try again.

Would give 5 stars but the food is Applebee’s quality. The atmosphere is great and if you’re a true Colts fan this is the place to go. We came after a game hoping the team would show, we heard sometimes they come after a game. We had a good seat with a view of the entrance. The game ended almost an hour ago and no Colts players. We think the servers tell you this to get you to stay and eat. That is shady, so we aren’t eating, we ate here last night. It’s really nice to sit here with a bunch of fellow Colts fans. GOCOLTS!

I can’t comment too much for this place because we were there for a private event with a limited menu but I’ll do my best :) When we arrived our room was ready and we were promptly seated. The servers were nice and began serving our salads very quickly. We had the Cesar salad which was tasty. Right after everyone was servers their salads, the waitresses began taking orders for the main meal. I ordered the peach BBQ chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The portions were a good size and the chicken was tasty. The potatoes were really good but the broccoli was a non seasoned disappointment especially since it is my favorite vegetable. But thankfully they made up for the broccoli with the brownie and ice cream that they brought out after I finished my dinner Although I enjoyed my dining experience there, I found out later that there were additional charges added to the bill that were not initially discussed in the original agreement for the event which made me wonder about the nature of their business and contract agreements… hmmm…
