I really like this place. I ordered the caramilla latte and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. The barista was personable and cordial and the breeze on the outside tables would be perfect for anyone to read or have s conversation.

Great pour over stations and quality beans = awesome coffee. Tea is also top notch. I stop here whenever I am in downtown Indy

Prime real estate over by the circle, limited seating in the winter. The summer months there is more seating outside with a lovely view of the circle. Prices are moderate when compared to other coffee places. Overall its just an ok place. The coffee is better than a Starbucks, but it doesn’t taste like its at another level. So if you are tired of your regular coffee then step on in for something different. Or maybe this can be your regular considering they have a rewards program as well. I will be here only when its convenient and I am out of cash on my Starbucks card.

One of the best places to get coffee downtown because of the quality flavor especially their dirty Chai lattes, Carmilla and their cold brew is also great for the summer while not too bitter but if you want sweet they usually have specialty cold brew flavors in summer… Only downside to this location is it is small, so I wouldn’t recommend having meetings here.

Loved the atmosphere of this place! The only reason I gave it a four instead of a 5 was it was a bit small, but the décor was on point. Great feel for a coffee shop. Tried an iced green tea, had plenty of flavor which was great! Heard their lattes are on point so will have to try that next time. Wish it was open on the weekends, even just for the morning. Great spot!

Nice little spot to pop in and grab your morning coffee. I drink iced coffee and their large is the same price as a venti at Starbucks, $ 3.22. Coffee has a little different taste but it is good. Ice is good quality as well. It also isn’t melted and watered down like some other iced coffee offered around downtown. Inside is modern with a nice rustic flair. Only a few seats inside and a few outside so this is a place to grab and go.

Here’s an update about the seating options at this H&C coffee joint downtown. They will have café seating outside on the sidewalk during the warmer months to give patrons more options! So if you’re looking for a different locations for a meeting with the best coffee in Indy, then the outside seating and catching some sunshine could be the thing to change it up from the mundane office walls.

This place is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Swanky. Good freaking coffee. Yummy pastries to enjoy with a good cup of brew. I always order Americanos and they are not watered down here so I am happy. They have your common pour over contraptions — something called a «mod» that spews hot water in all directions of the coffee filter to get a good soak. Not many seats — 6. So don’t plan on making this your Starbucks sit down. But do make this your daily morning Joe and you will be satisfied. Good morning.

Super small place. We wanted to sit inside but all the seats were taken. Otherwise, good experience. Great hot chocolate. Husband enjoyed the coffee of the day. Friendly staff.

Hubbard & Cravens gives customer this dark-wood classic coffee shop feel as soon as you enters. Inside, it’s decorated with dark pips and classic crafted dark woods from tables to chairs. One of the most impressive things to me about the atmosphere of the downtown Hubbard & Cravens this simple and elegant design it gives from the wall mount shelfs to the beautiful hot water faucets. Some of the pros: good coffee, excellent location, classic coffee shop environments; cons: prices, lack of sit down space(maybe due to downtown location);

This is hands-down my favorite place to get coffee in Indy. Everything I’ve had has been the best iteration of that item I’ve ever tasted(vanilla lattes, peppermint mochas, pumpkin spice lattes, and plain coffee [iced or hot]). The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Not much seating is the only complaint I can come up with, but it’s still an interesting space. a little pricey, on par with starbucks, but totally worth it.

So happy there is a new place to grab a coffee so close to where I live. They do pour over coffee as well as lattes, and the usual coffee drinks, as well as sell bags of their beans to take home including an amazing blend as well as small batch micro lot and single origin coffee beans. Makes my mornings much easier!

I mistakenly scheduled a meeting here thinking it was more spacious than it actually is: two 2-seater tables and a hightop counter with no seats and room for 3 people standing tops. Lets call it cozy, super-cozy. This location is meant for grabbing what you need and heading back to the office or on down the street. Similar to other Hubbard & Cravens coffee shops you’ll find pour over coffee, raw bars(my favorite is the peanut butter flax seed — which appears to be everyone else’s favorite as well), fresh juice(3 to 4 varieties) and an assortment of carry-out salads, pita and hummus, etc. Oh, and they also have a fair selection of baked goods like pound cake, brownies and pumpkin cheesecake bars. The space is very clean and industrious. I’d like to think it fits the 9 to 5 crowd it services — nothing over-the-top…just serving good coffee. If the weather is right, you can take advantage of their three to four tables on the sidewalk facing on to north Meridian Street(prime real estate for people watching downtown).

My boyfriend and I stopped into the newest branch of H&C on the morning of Dig IN and Gen Con. Every other coffee shop in the downtown area that we saw was absolutely maxed. When we came across this place, I was absolutely elated-not only because H&C is awesome but because there was only one other customer in the shop. The staff weren’t quite as happy about the lack of traffic, but I attribute it to the fact that they had only been open for a few weeks, at most. They have super cool manual drop coffee makers situated front and center on the counter so you can watch your coffee being made – this isn’t for someone in a hurry, but it’s definitely worth watching while you wait for your drink. There isn’t much seating room, but what they have is nice and cozy. There’s a cooler full of food and drinks(orange juice, sandwiches, etc), and also a wall of coffee that I was very tempted to buy – the only thing that stopped me was the thought of carrying it around Dig IN all day long. The staff were incredibly friendly. While we waited for our drinks there was a woman who was … less than understanding about how long her drip coffee was taking to brew, and the staff handled it like total pros. Last but most certainly not least was the coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was delicious. Hot, flavored just right, and clearly made with love. Next time I’m downtown, I’ll certainly be stopping in to get coffee here.
