The check in experience was not the best I had unfortunately. After a five hour drive I was hoping for a warm welcome, but I felt more like I was troubling them. Rooms are fresh and nicely sized though. They are clean and they are very nicely set up every day as well. The noise level is low and the beds comfortable. Too bad they don’t have a mini bar, not even a refrigerator. I really like their breakfast buffet where you get to order your omelette, pancakes or waffle made fresh for you. Their Mimosas are perfect!(I am surprised how many places just cannot manage to do a Mimosa correct) Valet guys are quick and friendly, I would give the a five star for hospitality and service, great first impression! Maybe it’s just because it’s Indy500 right now but they have some kind of strange«hostess» at the door, when walking in from lunch today she half yelled«can we help you? Are you looking for something?!» Like I was an intruder or something, just very strange…

My wife and I went to Indi for a weekend trip, and we had a blast. We stayed at the Hilton, which was right next to the Zoo(her pick) and the Speedway(my pick), and our experience at the hotel made a huge impact on our time in Indi. Service: We were kindly greeted by Meghan at the front desk, and she helped us plan out our evening dinning. Martin served us breakfast and had a positive attitude every time we saw him. Even the bar tender, who I(jokes aside) forget his name at the moment, was social and enjoyable. Facility: Our room(1515) was very nice and clean. The bathroom was spacious and we had a decent view of the city. The pillows were large and comfy, with the bed giving us good sleep. Also, the additional counter and sink in the main room was very useful. Criticism: We only had a few criticisms. We wished the hotel could’ve given us a discount or information on some of the interests we had around the area. They basically told us that we could get information and pricing online. With the select number of major attractions in the area, you would imagine them to know a little bit more. Also, we went to enjoy the hot-tub later in the night, and it was full of crazy kids. The pool was also poorly cleaned(no towels, furniture every which way, etc.) Small matters compared to what we wanted from the Hotel. We would stay here again. :)

Breakfast buffet held a variety of cold and hot breakfast items. Omelet/waffle stand was extremely slow due to only one chef working the station.

We also booked the«Hotwire» deal therefore we could have received the less Hilton experience than others have gotten. Mainly, I just want to know why there is no refrigerator in these rooms?! We stayed for three nights, and obviously that is necessary. Also, when our room was cleaned the sheets were not even changed. The outside appearance is nice, but things were not up to Hilton standards that I have experienced before. We were tucked in the back corner room, with a prison cell window. We didn’t even ask about breakfast seeing as we didn’t even get access to a fridge or microwave. I probably wouldn’t be writing this review if I had access to a refrigerator… And maybe free water?

Spacious room, perfect for work trips. It had to be around 800 square feet, with a room with two beds and an additional room attached with a desk and couch and tv. 10 mins walking distance to the JW. Hotel is well melts and clean. I’d definitely return!

The hotel initially looked nice. When we got to our room, throughout our stay, found slow draining shower so you stand in your water, hair on the walls, closet handle missing, hole in our sheets, mascara colored stain on towel, and a terrible evening of next door partying noise until 3am which«security» didn’t resolve. The décor was attractive but it doesn’t outweigh the lack of maintenance shown throughout.

Well it’s a nice room, very long. No fridge no microwave but there is two tvs, I don’t know why either. A little tip don’t close the doors to the office to cancel the outside noise the a/c vent is only in the office and you will be on fire by the middle of the night. The bar in the lobby is really good the bartender Eric is great he made the experience. And the food is very well made.

I had a really quite wonderful stay at this hotel in June 2015. The front desk staff seemed very busy but my room was nice, large, and had a great view from the 19th floor. I was very busy on my trip so I didn’t get the chance to spend that much time in the hotel, but I really appreciated the fruit infused water in the lobby every morning when I walked through. The humidity of Indianapolis meant that the room felt moist on occasion, but the bed was super comfy and the shower was good with adequate pressure. There was lots of counter space which was great as I was sharing a room with two others. I never made it to the pool but it looked nice and was just down the hall. I never had to wait long for the elevator which is always a concern when one is on the 19th floor so that was really great! Checkout went smoothly and staff were able to divide our room payment between us appropriately given how long we each stayed so that was great! I liked how close this hotel was to everything else downtown.

Not giving 2 stars because the towels are soft, they provide lots of fluffy pillows and the bed is comfy. What truly disappointed me about this hotel is the lack of care regarding a request I made. I always put out the ‘do not disturb’ sign when staying multiple nights(in this case 3) as I don’t need the cleaning crew going through my room. Hate having strangers clean up and rearrange my stuff without me being present. No sign in my room; requested it before heading to the work conference in the hotel. Reassured by the front desk person, Rose, it was on its way. I requested nicely to not have my room cleaned and thanked her for getting the sign to my room. Well, the sign didn’t come and when I got back to my room they had come in and cleaned my room. Furious I called the front desk, expressed my anger and frustration for Rose not taking my request seriously. Felt my privacy was invaded. Finally a sign was provided. Had a brief rude interaction with a women at the front desk(tues, may26th @ 7:30am so the hotel can possibly know who it was) when I had asked her to please not have my room cleaned(same morning as my call to the front desk; they never provided a sign so followed up with her before my conference started). She made no eye contact and scuffed at me. Thanks hotel staff person for making me feel like my request wasn’t worth your attention. Sorry I’m not important. Finally, it’s 11:30pm, Thurs May 28th and a very loud drilling has gone on for the last two hours! I called the front desk and was told to ‘deal with it’ & ‘we have no control over it’. Again, with an attitude. Wasn’t going to add that to this review but 2hrs of this drilling noise is ridiculous! You have multiple conferences going on in your hotel, my company alone has 75 people staying at this hotel and you want me to ‘deal with it’ and had trouble bringing me a ‘do not disturb sign’ nor ensure my room wasn’t cleaned. I’m also a Hilton Rewards Member. You are really not making me a happy customer. Shame on the hotel for this behavior.

Very nicely appointed room. Surprisingly quiet for a busy street. Staff has been very helpful. Walking distance to great restaurants including St. Elmo’s. Here with a group and enjoy this more than previous hotel! Valet and luggage service was seem less and efficient.

Great place to stay in downtown Indy. Tons of things in walking distance. Hotel staff are friendly and trustworthy. Tight pool on the top floor. Suites are spacious and plush. Nice work Hilton!

So I booked this room via«Hotwire», so my experience may be different if you were to book them directly or if you are a member of the Hilton Club perks. I couldn’t complain about the price that we paid for a 4-star hotel. When my girlfriend and I arrived to the hotel, the atmosphere, the service, and appearance was 4-star for sure. Check in was very easy and multiple elevators which was a nice thing. When we get to the room, we felt that it was a «Hotwire» or bargain-type room because it was tucked away in the corner, and it was hard to explain, but you could tell that the hotel and the company decided if they don’t get a lot of room sold, then that room we stayed was designated as the«bargain» room. Well I don’t want to make it sound bad, but there were just a few things that made it seem this hotel more of 3-star hotel(more so like a 2.5 star) than a 4-star. Well I haven’t stayed at much of Hilton, but I was kind of bummed that they didn’t have a refrigerator inside the room. Maybe it is the type of Hilton Hotel, but come one, I can get a refrigerator at a Holiday Inn or Best Western and still paid either the same price or less. There were some certain things that made the room unattractive. The biggest thing we saw was a giant stain on the wall. Didn’t know if it was old coffee and maybe that was the trash can was originally located, but it was kind of gross. They had water bottles in the room, but it was like $ 4 per bottle! I stayed at 4-star hotel in Chicago and they had a giant bottle of water for FREE! But you know I couldn’t complain since I used the room only to sleep, but it would’ve been nice to have at least a refrigerator in the room. My biggest complaint about this place was the noise level. That night, there were some very«loud» people staying that night. I don’t know how soundproof the wall is when doors are closed, but these people were very loud and very rude that they were not being considerate of their noise level. They were standing in the hallway to the rooms and even had their doors open, and they were laughing and talking very loud. I am usually a very calm and forgiving person with noise, but this was very rude. When these people decided to move their party inside the room and closed the door, it was relatively quiet, but you can still hear when they screamed and laughed out loud. We eventually had to call the front desk and maybe that did the trick because these people(who were 2 doors down from us, or almost nearly across from us), came out and started the party back in the hallway. So I am not trying to complain to the hotel, but just wanted to warn everyone that if you are a light sleeper, and if you do end up staying at this hotel, and encounter an episode like mine, please call the front desk to request for a room change. That is the only advice I could give. Yeah I know that people want to party and don’t want to ruin the vibe of having a good time, but some days people forget about politeness when they are under the influence of alcohol. Overall, the hotel was OK. It’s in downtown Indy and it is near by many stores to shop, and restaurants to dine at. Parking is either a self-garage parking or valet parking; both offering in and out privilege, which is a good thing. They have a restaurant(bar and grill they call it), which offers OK food and also, they are adjoined to a McCormick and Shmick? steakhouse. I would not recommend this place if you are booking directly through their website, unless you are one of those members who gets points for staying at the hotel. Once again, i booked it via«Hotwire» and the money that I paid for the room was a bargain. I just wished it was a better experience. But hey, everyone has opinions and you can either take it or leave it. Thanks for reading my long review and I hope you found it to be funny, helpful, or just plain awful! Cheers

We are hhonors members for a reason. It’s rare to have anything other than a positive experience at a Hilton. Indy Downtown was a bit of an exception. The suite was spacious but a little run down with some scuffs and paint chips on the walls. The dresser in our room had something sticky on it and the room AC/heater unit’s front panel was a bad fit. Staff was with one exception Hilton-quality; the one problem we had was with a concierge at the front desk who was a little snippy with us regarding theater tickets. It was busy, but our question was simple and we got our own fix later. Would we stay again? Yes, it’s a fine place in a good location and there wasn’t anything wrong, just a few unpleasant surprises that are probably not the norm.

For $ 359 plus taxes I would think I would have a clean modern room, free water, stocked frig etc. what we got was a room that was decorated about 20 years ago, closet doors that don’t open, dirty grout on bathroom floors. No robes, a sofa that is killing my bad back. Unfortunately this was the only room left in downtown Indy. We picked a bad weekend for a get away.

The bathroom tub in my room did not drain at all after my shower. I told the gentleman at the front desk about it this morning but it obviously wasn’t fixed since it happened again tonight. I expected better quality service and attention to detail from a Hilton property.

We went here for the Redskins Indy game. Everyone was so pleasant, from the valet to the check in crew to the bellhop to the bar staff. It was a great experience. I ended up seeing Doug Williams retired hall of fame QB for the Redskins, also the whole team stayed there lol bonus for me haha! ;) great job as always Hilton

Pretty good hotel, great service. Deducting one star because on closer viewing, it is getting a little older. For example, the tub in the bathroom was stained. some nasty grout in the tiles on the tub. A couple of the floor tiles were cracked. Elevators to the parking garage have seen better days. And a couple of minor design annoyances. Such as the bath towels are 6 feet away from the shower(yes, I should remember to grab one before the shower). And you can’t plug in the coffee maker where it is(power light on the coffee maker was not working also). But all minor points. Lobby is great. Prof service. Good flavored water. Free wifi. Good breakfast options. Good bedding.

I like it here. Stayed overnight a couple times, and also had a three day meeting here. Friendly staff and all that. I’m interested to try the McCormick & Shmicks place that is on the first floor here.

I stayed here this weekend in a booked hotel that was loaded with wedding guests and most likely some Colts fans(Saturday game) so I am writing this review based on this weekend. We were in 1902 on the top floor near the pool. 2 queen sized beds, no fridge in room. We tried to hit up the hot tub/pool but at almost 11 at night there were a ton of kids in there. Finally they shuffled off and we ran in for 10 min of hot tub time before getting kicked out. We get it they need to clean, at least we got a few min. What I liked– clean spacious room with a cool view. Nice temperature setting. Lots of pillows and extra pillows and blanket in the closet. What I didn’t like– there was an odd rocking/clicking noise we kept hearing but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We could hear EVERYTHING happening in the hallway. I think we even heard our neighbor drop the soap lol… The walls are thin! Seals on the door are non existent so they are not very soundproof. Um *cough* soo if you are having«relations» don’t be too loud about it! At 2:30 am we kept hearing people in the hallway… Screaming. Yes. Screaming… banging doors, hollering and being jerks in general with no consideration of others! We called the front desk and then it got quiet for a bit but I heard jerks again at 3:00 — 3:30. I didn’t get much sleep. I’ve stayed here during gen-con with a friend in the past but honestly the nerds are quieter!
