This is a great shop. It’s a mom and pop owned place, that has lots of space for gaming. I can not say enough good things about the people who own this store. They are super friendly and make you feel at home right away. They also hold live concerts occasionally and if there is something you are looking for they are willing to help you find it. Best game shop in Indy. Friendly and welcoming to all. Great selection of board games and miniatures alike. There is something for everyone. Owners take pride in the shop and it shows. The interior is well organized, colorful and clean. They welcome all and they have a full calendar of events — gaming, model painting, etc. Website and Facebook are always up-​to-​date. I have met some of the nicest people here. Thank you Hero’s for creating a wonderful home for gaming and great place to shop.

Talk about a quality FLGS! I’ve been a nerd all across the country, and had several examples of a Hobby Center/​Tabletop Store, and I can honestly say I’ve never found a place as refreshingly welcoming as the Hero’s Emporium.
I can often be found, smiling broadly at a table with a group of new friends, trying a new boardgame, painting miniatures or rolling dice in some 40k.
Best selection of Reaper Bones in the Indianapolis area, and a massive boardgame library for playing in the shop. You can find a game of 40k any night of the week, they have a robust Friday Night Magic scene, and the most friendly and informative staff of any FLGS I’ve ever been to. If you haven’t been to the Hero’s Emporium, you’re really missing out.

This is a great game shop. They have a large selection of board games, as well as miniatures and dice. This place is owned by this cool little alt family, and they’re always around, super helpful and super nice.
The best part of this shop is that they host various games pretty much every night of the week. We attend every Wednesday for D&D. They have a lot of space, which is good, because sometimes the place can get pretty packed. We have made some good friends while playing games at Hero’s. This is a place with a wonderful sense of community, where you always feel welcome and right at home.
