This is a decent Goodwill. Sometimes I’m able to find what I’m looking for… sometimes I’m not. Is usually alright on their organization of the store. I will say that I don’t really like coming here during the first Saturday sales. They don’t really have much that would entice me to deal with the long lines or amount of people in the store during this time. If I want to go to Goodwill that’s close by my house I’ll usually stop here and check to see what they have prior to going to the Greenwood or 176 St Locations.

Not that great, as far as Central Indy Goodwills go.(Keep in mind our Goodwills are some of the nicest in the country, as far as I can tell, so it’s not BAD by any means.) I rarely find things I want to buy here, and the furniture is pricey. I still stop by if I’m in the area and have time, though. You never know!

I love goodwill. And I was super excited to see them open a location in our neighborhood. We sometimes make an afternoon of visiting all the locations in the area so this is our new starting point. This particular location is a little smaller than the other Indy stores. It’s not crowded, they just seem to have less open floor space. As a result, the have less furniture and other large items. The small size doesn’t seem to have any effect on their clothing selections though. I have picked up some nice items here such as buckle jeans and an American eagle tee shirt with tags on it still. You just have to be willing to sift through the racks. Normally one if the biggest factors in how I rate a place is their staff. I would give goodwill a little more slack since they supposedly hire special needs folks to work at their stores. This place doesn’t need any slack though. I have always had positive experiences with the employees here. So I you happen to be out thrift shopping or just in the area swing by and check this place out. You never know what you’ll find.
