Sushi was good, hibachi was good, décor was good, service was good. Had hibachi filet and shrimp, super crunchy roll, ikura, and kirin beer. All were excellent. Veggies, meat and fried rice were well prepared, steak was tender and delicious.

The food was good. Not as good as Benihanas but decent enough. I wouldn’t mind eating here again.

I went here soon as they open for dinner so my husband and I were the only customers in the restaurant our entire meal which was actually nice. The restrooms were very clean! We sat at the hibachi grill and the chairs were the cheapest/hardest chairs I’ve ever sat in. We got a cook name Peter he was nice he cooked me the best Lobster I’ve had in my life! The manager is not a people person I didn’t feel welcomed so to speak. The only reason I would visit again is to get a lobster made by Peter. Izakaya Japanese Bar and Grill has better service in my opinion.

Sushi was surprisingly fresh but all the fried and cooked food was greasy the ginger was sweetened, the California roll had some sort of mayo dressing.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant and staff! I came here with my family for my birthday and they provided shots upon shots and cake and the regular amazing food! I will be returning for this wonderful experience on a regular basis. So much fun.

Not quite sure what all the hype has been about. The décor is nice, I’ll give you that. My friend and I sat in the dining area(not at the hibachi tables). The meal overall wasn’t very memorable. Sushi rice isn’t seasoned and doesn’t quite have the right texture. It’s s good fix for the the east side. But unfortunately, it’s not authentic. Being a Tuesday, we ordered cocktails. Pretty good. For food, we ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, and three rolls. The rolls were small and way overpriced. There are too many other decent sushi places in town that have set a higher standard. I’m sure I’ll be back to tryout the hibachi menu, but it won’t be my go-to place for sushi.

Very clean and great staff. Food was much better than other similar places. The show was worth the 60 min drive and the way they treated us made things that much better. Very accommodating. Will defiantly be back for more.

Arrived at 130pm on a Friday afternoon. There was only one other table with guests in the hibachi side. After 30 minutes, my wife and I were finally able to order our food, as the server would disappear for long periods. Finally after sitting there for 50 minutes, the cook shows up. He does the usual spiel except he is slow and over cooks the eggs and vegetables. We begin to eat and the fried rice tasted like char, thanks to the burnt eggs, and the vegetables are mushy. They only good tasting items were the onion soup and the meat. Afterwards, the waiter took yet another 25 minutes to bring us our check. We will not be returning.

So me and my family where really craving sushi so we thought we would go to the new suchi place on our side of town. When we got there and walked in it was a weird vibe. Nothing that really said eat here. We sat down and the waiter and the hostess where both very nice. Then we ordered a wide variety of sushi to a chicken terraki plate. They brought out our food after about 15 minutes. The presentation was very good. However the sushi rolls looked very different. And didn’t taste nearly as good as they should have. Staff quality: 3 out of 5. Very nice. English wasn’t very good though. Food quality: 3 out of 5 Food wasn’t good. But wasn’t terrible. Sushi didn’t taste fresh and could be matched to a decent gas station roll. The chicken on our chicken terraki plate was very rubbery and was dosed in sauce. But over all wasn’t bad but for an extra 10 minutes we could have went to #1 egg roll. And the food was over priced! Décor: 3 out of 5 The décor was just okay. Would I recommend this to others? No Would I go back? No

I heard about this place opening and finally got to try it out. Albeit I ordered takeout but i gotta say the sushi was awesome! So excited to have a good sushi restaurant on the east side! Hopefully I’ll have the time to eat in next time.

Was craving sushi and had an unexpected night out with the hubs and no kids, so of course we wanted to try out this new place. We were not disappointed! Had a seafood salad appetizer, followed by edamame(yum!). Steamed just like I like them– tender but firm with just the right amount of salt. Between the two of us, we ordered the special Christmas roll, the Boston Roll, a tuna roll and also carte conch and eel. The rolls came out quickly and were very artistically presented. They accidentally gave me a shrimp roll instead of tuna, but it was promptly remedied with a new tuna roll. Staff was friendly and attentive but not overly so. Great place for a night out!

We got sushi and a beef teriyaki meal to go. Both meals were very good. Our food was made very quickly. I liked they put each sushi roll in its own container. Soup and salad was good too.

Very nice atmosphere and first rate service. This is everything you would expect from a Japanese steak house. The have fresh sushi bar plus a hibachi bar. Tables for regular dining as well. Lunch specials were less than $ 10 and were perfectly portioned. I will be back here for dinner sometime soon.

We found this restaurant to be outstanding! The decorating is beautiful, the service is very attentive, and the food was perfect. We have eaten in other Japanese restaurants throughout the city of Indianapolis, but this is the best one by far! It will definitely be one of our regular places to dine.

Loved it. I had sushi and my husband had a scallop skillet. Everything was wonderful. I do sushi lots of places and they did a great job here. Great presentation and selection. Next time we will try the hibachi.

Stop in for hibachi or sushi, you’ll be happy with your decision! This place is beautiful on the inside, small water features and great décor but not overdone. The Tuna Tataki appetizer is light, thin tuna but has some kick, spicy but goes well with soy sauce. The sushi and sashimi for 2 comes with 16pcs sushi, 10 sashimi and 8 rolls, pretty good value for 2 ppl($ 43). Very fresh and prepared in a high quality kitchen, so far so good, they are doing things right here! Sushi is easy to judge, if you don’t get sick an hour or so afterward, they did things properly! Dessert was NY cheesecake, which, I honestly didnt try but it looked good. The chocolate lava cake was the best though, perfect after sushi!!! The service was measured, not slow but allowed us plenty of time to choose each stage of the meal. Very kind people here!
