Foyt Wine Vault

I really enjoy this place!
They have great wine & great cheese boards and the meat trays look delicious!
The service is always excellent. Our server always brings us extra crackers for the cheese.
I gave it 4 stars because of the meat trays! I really wish I could try the meats from The Smoking Goose, but they are all PORK! As a Muslim, I really wish they had some beef or other meats to choose from. Overall, this is an excellent place!

I’m always skeptical of «celebrity wine». This was a very pleasant surprise. My wife & I stopped in about 5:00 pm on a Friday in August. There were only a few patrons at the time so we could really look around.
The layout is very well done and relaxing in a lounge sort of way. Naturally, there is a lot of race memorabilia but in an interesting arrangement.
The menu (wine & cheese) is presented in an interesting way too. All the wines are specially bottled for the Foyt Wine Vault and represent some notable event in the life of racing legend, A.J. Foyt. The cheese platters can be «built» from several cheese and meat choices and were very good.
The service and knowledge of the staff was exceptional as well. We chatted with some of the people at the bar and discovered that one of them was A.J. Foyt IV, the co-​owner. He was an incredibly gracious host and answered all of our questions about the Vault.
Please read the other reviews because I can’t believe anyone would have anything bad to say about this wine find. You really should check it out. I know we’ll be back!

Top notch! Building is very nice. Décor is very enjoyable, only wish we had more time the day we visited. Would like to return sometime for a function.

I really love this place. I meant to take a photo of the menu. Wine glass range in prices of $ 5-​$ 10 flights are $ 10 for 1 oz pours. They had fantastic looking meat and cheese trays for $ 18. This place is high end for great prices.

I loved Foyt wine vault! Flights of wine were perfect! Had cheese and chocolate boards are excellent! Door man was awesome and felt very upscale!!! Nice part of history on Main Street in Speedway! This is a gem that has not yet been discovered by many which is great! Go, try it out! Great date night idea!

At this time I’ve have to say this is the greatest Wine Vault in the world. As I sit here, enjoying the bar, my wine/​cheeses and chocolate. My hero walked in the bar.
A. J. Foyt shows up on a Thursday night in June. Life doesn’t get much better, much cooler than this.

Had a fun experience at the opening of the Foyt Wine Vault during Indy 500 race week. The public was invited to participate in the ribbon cutting, which was done by AJ Foyt.
The family is really investing a lot in Speedway, which makes me so happy, as a home grown Hoosier from Indianapolis, and big race fan.
I’m familiar with Foyt Family Wines due to my work in the industry in Sonoma Valley. I was excited to hear that the Vault was opening during my recent visit to Indy.
The facility is beautiful. I didn’t know what to expect, and I was taken aback by the hardwood, amazing race memorabilia and genuineness of the family and staff. Don’t be surprised if you run into co-​owners and former racecar drivers Larry or Anthony Foyt! They’re happy to sign bottles, too.
I enjoyed their Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, but I’m bias being from Sonoma Valley. If you aren’t into wine, you can enjoy a local beer on tap or in bottle. They also offer locally made cheese, charcuterie, and chocolate, the latter from the Best Chocolate In Town (and it is!).
They are also open late, giving it a lounge feel.
Can’t wait to visit the Foyt Wine Vault upon my next visit to Indy.

This place is amazing! Beautiful interior, great wines and tasty snacks! They serve awesome local goodies like cheese from Tulip Tree and meats from Goose. You can also get gourmet local chocolates! They sell wine and beer by the glass (or bottle) and are open late on weekends! I highly recommend visiting soon.
