Foot Locker

The tween had Air Jordan Flight 3s on her ‘MUST HAVE’ list and I ordered what I thought she wanted online. As I opened the box to wrap them, I realized the size was wrong!!! I spend some time on the phone w/​Customer Service to discover that they had them in stock at the Cherry Tree location, on E. Washington.
I jumped in the car to make the exchange, only to be directed by Unilocal to Washington Square mall. I walked the mall and found a Kids Foot Locker, tried to make the switch, only to be told that I probably needed to go to the Foot Locker in the strip mall across the street (ARGH!!!).
After numerous U-​Turns and quite a bit of swearing, I found it. The store was slammed with last minute shoppers on Christmas eve, and me wondering what I was doing here. Staff was quick to assist, but didn’t have the pair I was looking for. I weighed my available options and selected the all black w/​gold eyelets.
Traffic was a nightmare, but it all paid off when, as she opened her last present — she broke into tears of joy. «I thought I wasn’t getting them!» The things you do for love.
For the record, I submitted an update to Unilocal with the correct address so nobody else will go through the madness I did.
