Bought a banjo, guitar and ukulele recently. Got great deals and set up for lessons. Great experience. Can’t wait to get the family band going!

JUST BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called on the phone for direction, Acted like I was stupid and was hateful. Got to the store ask where something was, he said it is right there in plan daylight! I needed what I came in for so I grab it. The entire time him standing there like I was going to steal it. I mean it is 11am in the morning I am in a suite and tie REALLY! I need what I came for so I took it to the counter, where he continued his hatefulness. So I left it on the counter and just walked out. I love small Business very much, it is Sad when I can’t support one anymore. If this is how he treated me, how in the world could I trust him to give lesson to my children.

I’m not impressed at all with this store. I love supporting local businesses, but I had a bad experience here. I went in looking to find a few simple guitar accessories and found things to be overpriced and the customer service rude. I tried to explain that I am a college student on a tight budget, and was rudely told to go somewhere else. I didn’t even feel like telling the owner (who was helping me) everything else I wanted, so I just left. I ended up going to Best Buy down the street and found all the exact same products for less than 2/​3rds the price of Florek’s, with much better customer service. I do not recommend this store.

The best place you can go for stringed instrument rentals. They will work with you to find exactly what you need and a fair pricing arrangement. Mr. Florek has a lot of experience and this helps him understand each student’s specific needs (and teachers!). Instrument setup and repair is done right in the store so you know exactly what is going on with your instrument.
There is a lot to explore in this store, lots of items on the walls, racks, books, accessories of all types. A ton of sheet music! Amps and a small but great selection of guitars and a decent amount of drum accessories. I believe they are a PDP authorized seller so anything PDP they can order.
Before I go to a big box store I stop here first, they might have what I need and I rather support local business! Mr. Florek has advised me of my own home built guitars and i appreciate the advice. Definitely going to make this my band’s first stop music store.
