My favorite bar in Indy. The atmosphere is calm but fun, great specials on already cheap drinks($ 3 Stoli) and amazing food. Seriously the BEST chicken fingers in Indy! They’re also open 24 hours so anytime you’re looking for a great place, it’s there! Tuesday nights are live music. And Karaōke on Wednesday, Sunday and Saturday(after the drag show!)

This isn’t my type of place… its a gay bar but it has the best food around. The loaded tatertots are amazing and they serve food 24 hours a day. Staff is pretty cool also. Johnny is great guy

My husband and I have been to Olly’s a few times now and we have never walked away disappointed, in fact I’d say we fall a little more in love with it each time we go. Each and every member of the staff that we’ve had any sort of interaction with has been an absolute delight. On our last visit it was our servers first full shift, I think she said her name was Raven, but you’d have thought that she was a long time employee. Not once did we have to ask for her, she kept a good eye on our drinks and offered new ones before we were empty(which we appreciate greatly). She was extremely sweet and nice and really did an amazing job(again, especially for a first shift). My husband had the fish and chips and was singing their praises even during our trip home. I had the prime rib and it was prepared absolutely perfectly. The only thing food-wise that I would say was average would be the baked potato but I understand that in a restaurant setting it’s not only hard but also risky to add much seasoning to a baked potato inside the foil before cooking — but maybe even just a light roll in some sea salt would have made it, like everything else, above average — especially for the price. The prices are more than reasonable in light of the quantity and quality of the food. They have both typical bar foods but they also have a much broader menu for folks that actually want a full meal and not merely a sandwich or finger food. This in one of Indy’s gay community pillars, a cornerstone of sorts, a beloved business that is an integral part of our community but it is very open and extremely welcoming to everyone — gay or straight, male or female, younger or older. It is a diverse clientele as are the employees. If you live here and you’ve never been, you should. If you’re just passing through Indy and need some good food and maybe even a laugh or two or some good music, you should really give them your business… I can’t fathom you being disappointed!

The worst arrive ever. We waited for 2 hours for our food. We said I don’t wanna ever eat here again. They said we can’t ever come back if we leave. The staff and manager was SUPERRUDE to us. Never eat here.

You know that point in the(late late) night after having a great time, heavily influenced by alcohol and any, I mean ANY, food will satisfy your cravings? Olly’s is the place for that! Open 24 hrs and serving you typical american diner food, you can’t go wrong. It’s one of the few places open 24 hrs downtown. The décor reminds me of a place where the main character’s mom in «Queer As Folk» would work, with the Christmas and string lights, random stuff hanging on the walls and from the ceilings, etc. I’ve been here a couple of times in my time, and nothing has me coming back here when I’m craving food, without alcoholic influence. This most recent time, I ordered a side of French fries and I kid you not, I got like 15 French fries on a tiny plate. Yes, it was only $ 2, but dang, I was expecting more than a tiny handful. The service is good, especially for Servers dealing with drunk people for a lot of their shifts. It’s moderately priced but the portions aren’t the best value for your buck. If you’re looking for a place downtown to satisfy that greasy american food while not expecting the most elegant food, give Olly’s a try — your drunken self will thank you.

I usually only come here for breakfast but decided to to go for dinner! Definitely a must! The prices are fairly cheap for dinner options, especially since I ordered steak with Mac & cheese, loaded baked potato and salad for only $ 11! The environment is very friendly and the décor is interesting for sure! I was a little disappointed with our waitress, we had to repeat to her to bring us things, even our salads she had forgotten. I will however be returning for sure!

Fun place! Came here with my cousin(might be a bar for same sex relations, I am straight, still had a blast), it was karaōke night which made me happy, I like karaōke! Our server was awesome! He was really on top of taking care of our table, super nice, fast and efficient. I wish I could remember his name!

I love Olly’s! I mostly come for brunch on weekends and Wild Wednesday Karaōke, and I always feel welcome. Quick, polite service. Cheap mimosas and delicious biscuits & gravy. The breakfast potatoes are to die for. Lots of cheap, fried late night bites, and interesting characters! Always fabulously decorated inside as well. A real Indy 24 hour gem.

So… here we go kids. Me and the BF came here few months ago and my $ 3 well became $ 4.50 because of OJ with the splash of cran mixer. So, wise to this scheme, tonight I ask what the specials are…$ 3 Stoli. Me: «How much would Stoli and OJ be?» Waiter«$ 4.50.» Me: «I’ll have Stoli on the rocks.» Drink comes with no ice. Me: «Where’s the rocks?» Waiter: «That’s an up-charge.» Quality food. High on B/S. Lost a customer.

They have the best food. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with sweet potato fries… it was great. I’ve been there before years ago and people were allowed to smoke inside… but now that has changed. I don’t know who they have in their kitchen cooking but when I tell you that their food is better than some of these 29.99 entrée places, you better believe it. It’s a bar with great food. I left last night wishing I would’ve ordered something to go. Prices are great but the food is better. The staff is nice, as always. Menu options are beyond great. This beats out Denny’s or any other place, especially if you are looking for late night eating w/great quality food. Love it!!!

I feel like I came too early on a Friday night(roughly around 11PM/12AM). I had read all the reviews and wanted to try it out so my two other friends and I went. We weren’t looking for anything crazy, just somewhere I could get a drink and eat a little snack and check out the infamous Olly’s. The crowd was definitely older than I expected, my friends and I were probably the youngest ones there(21⁄22). I’ll most likely be back, but definitely around 1AM instead of the«early» hours I mentioned.

Been here several times. Mostly late hours of the night – or wee hours of the morning. It’s a 21 and older place. Good place to people watch. Parking is on the street. Seating is crowded. The place is always packed. I have ordered food a few times there and it’s right every time.

Cheap drinks and a very open attitude about everybody in life. Downtown olly’s is a must visit if gay and gay friendly people. Ask about different events they have there for entertainment. From shows to euchre top karaōke. The good is good and the drinks are delicious.

So the hubs asked me what I wanted to do to celebrate and I thought to myself, «Nothing says ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ like a mug full o’ Bloody Mary goodness and some $ 6 big ol’ breakfast specials!» Off we went to Olly’s… WOO-HOOO! Our server Josh was perfectly attentive, funny, and knew his stuff. He made our visit enjoyable for sure. Why should you go to Olly’s? $ 4 Bloody Mary’s and mimosas $ 3 Stoli every day $ 2 well drinks(rumor has it the pours are generous) Drag shows on the weekends Open 24 hours a day! Fairly priced food at all hours of the day Friendly staff! I think we have found a new spot… watch out, Olly’s!

When we first directed to go there we were just like«meh, what’s out there?» But we walked there and was a little unsure at first, but then when we started ordering the AMFs from the friendly bartender things got really fun. The other people at the bar started talking to us and we were just having a great time. Got hammered, ate great food, had great service and overall had a pretty good time. So, now I come in here often and get the sloppy tots, but the one thing that I wish is that the bathroom stall had a door. It would be pretty tight.

Was looking for somewhere to grab a bite late at night and found out that this place was open 24 hours and located down the street from me. So excited to find that they had sloppy joes and tater tots on the menu. Everything seemed decently priced and they had many drinks on special. Definitely a surprise hole in the wall that I’d gladly return to!

My gf and I go here often, mostly the day after a long night of drinking, and we are rarely disappointed. The services is nice and friendly, the prices are reasonable and the only problem we ever had with the food is when the eggs with our eggs Benedict were over cooked. Otherwise no complaints. I have heard that it gets a bit crazy late night but it is a gay bar so what would you expect. Oh, and the buckets with free condoms is fun.

I’m relatively new to indy and I’m glad I stumbled across this place. There aren’t many signs so if you’re driving down Illinois and blink you might miss it. Everyone is very friendly and conversational. The staff made sure we were taken care of and the other patrons all said hello and engaged in conversation with us. I had the peanut butter burger, it sounded a little weird to me but it was delicious! The drinks were super cheap but still delicious and the bartenders knew their stuff. The food and drink menu is pretty broad so there are options even for the pickiest of eaters. This is definitely a great place to grab a drink after work during the week, it has a very casual atmosphere. Apparently they are open 24 hours, which is also pretty cool in my opinion.

So, I’ve learned in Indianapolis, you’re either a fan of Olly’s or Ivy’s. Rarely do I find someone that visits both consistently. That being said, I’m usually an Ivy’s fan, but I do occasionally head over to Olly’s for karaōke-night on Sunday evenings. Food is good. typical bar food. Drinks are cheaper than most places, and the bloody marys and long islands are pretty good. Servers are nice too. One of the only places open 24⁄7 for a late dinner or early breakfast.

I can’t say enough about this place! After a fun night of being out on the town everyone wants to find a place for a quick bite that is a good price and tastes good! This is the place. The bar is huge. Lots of places to sit around the bar. The«dinning room» isn’t that large so you should find a place to sit at the bar. I have had the French toast, chili fries, and omelette! They are very good! The server who waited on us was Shelly. She was very nice. It can get very crowded in there! You have to be willing to deal with some of the people who can be a bit nuts but that is the charm! The best part — $ 2 drinks! They actually make a very good Bloody Mary! There are also drag shows, not bad! They work hard for the money so you better treat them right!
