Dough Momma’s Pizza

Was excited to try a new buffet. However, waiting on the pizza because the buffet was empty was not ideal with little ones. Then for them to make «half» pizzas because my kids are young and probably don’t eat much… We’ll stick to Chicago’s Pizza :) The employees here were not very friendly either. :(

If I could give this a negative I would. This place was terrible! Food, service and management when I went to address my concerns it happen to be the owner I spoke with. Who in turn got really hateful and defensive with me. She even cussed me out at one point. She yelled at me and my family. When we left she came out the back door of the restaurant and flipped us off. HOW PROFESSIONAL!
What we had noticed when we were there was people handling money and then touching food without washing their hands. I saw an employee pick a straw up off the floor and put it back in the container to be used. Then she proceeded to go right to making food with out washing her hands. The owner walks around with her pants sagging like she is a teenager and she is constantly pulling them up. They wore no gloves when making food either. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I love pizza and the day before my diet started, I wanted pizza. My fiancé wanted to try a new place and although I had it in my head I wanted something else, a different pizza place but we went to dough mommas.
I will say this. I was a little put off that there was an advertised all day buffet and when we came in, the only thing in the buffet was salad. We ended up ordering a pizza and an appetizer. Honestly, we probably would have done this anyway because I am not a fan of buffets. I never have been. I do think that they must have been a lull in the day at the time we walked in because they had 3 or 4 pizzas on the buffet within a couple of minutes. (I personally even if I knew that in advance would have still ordered a pizza. I am just that way.)
We ordered an appetizer of the dough bites (definitely get these, maybe a double order.) we also ordered a small pizza, not the personal size but the small size. I think we had our appetizer in less than 5 minutes and pizza in less than 10. I realize they weren’t super busy but that is still a great time.
The food was pretty good. I did. It feel it was the same type to f pizza as a jacomos or bazbeaux, but it was good. There were lots of toppings, although not too many. It was fast with friendly service. Very shortly after we got our food we had an emergency and needed to leave, they got us boxes Ina timely manner and lids for sauces. It is designed more for quick service and I received quick service in all aspects. I would definitely like to come here again and try them when I have a little more time to enjoy the atmosphere.

My husband and I LOVE this place. What’s not to like about all you can eat pizza? The owners are very friendly, and always there. I can tell they care a lot about pleasing their customers, and their business.

Pizza was very good. Great deal for salad bar, pizza, drink, and ice cream. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We tried this place on a Tuesday night. The place was clean, we were greeted promptly and all questions about the menu were answered with a pleasant tone. We opted for pasta dishes and bread sticks. Dough Momma’s offers a buffet of pizza and salad and ice cream for dessert. I had the fettuccine with chicken and broccoli. It was a generous serving and the garlic bread that came with it was tender on the inside and served warm. I couldn’t eat all of it and the remainder heated up nicely for lunch the next day.
This is a family friendly place. The food is served in takeout bowls and aluminum pans. The utensils are plastic. Yet those things are a big part of what keeps the cost down and make this an affordable place to eat for an easy meal, lunch or family night. There are more options on the menu than I have named — we will be exploring the menu more!
The staff really cared about how we enjoyed our first visit. They noticed I took pictures and I explained I would post to Unilocal.They were happy that I was going to share this experience. We will definitely be back.

We ordered wings, nachos and breadsticks. Everything was wonderful! Lots of food at a great price. Fast delivery as well. Will definitely order again!

This place has great service and awesome pizza. My family came in about 30 min til closing and the servers were more than happy to make more pizza for us. They even asked what we’d like. This is a great pizza place for easy & cheap family dinner

If you’re looking for a great lunch deal this place is perfect! My entire family of 7 had a buffet that included all you can eat pizza, desserts, and ice cream for a reasonable price. Not only did they cater to us, but they made sure we were happy. Hot pizzas fly out as fast as we can eat them. They even made us a favorite (macaroni and cheese) pizza that wasn’t technically on the buffet. It was great! They practically beg to come here. I give it 4 out of 5 just because one employee is a little unfriendly.

I ordered the meat lovers pizza tonight. It was amazing. I have had the lunch buffet several times and can’t thank the staff enough for the high quality service. They always make myself and guests feel more than welcome and they go out of there way to PLEASE.

This place is amazing. Extremely clean and the staff is very friendly.
I had the pizza buffet. It comes with drink, salad bar, all you can eat pizza, and ice cream for $ 9.00.
The salad bar has 5 dressings (French, ranch, blue cheese, honey mustard, and Italian). It also has peaches and also 3 different types of pudding (chocolate, banana, and vanilla). It was above average for a salad bar.
The buffet consisted of the house specialty, sausage, pepperoni, cheese, BBQ chicken, chicken and ranch, cheese bread, bread bites, and a cinnamon dessert pizza. The dessert pizza was like eating cinnamon rolls that came straight out of the oven. Best dessert pizza I have ever had. Overall food quality is excellent.
The best part is dessert. It’s prepackaged ice cream sandwiches. Snickers, Reid, Klondike bars, vanilla ice cream cups, etc.
Kids also eat free on Monday between 5 &7. I’m definitely coming back here again soon.

This is not Yo Momma’s pizza! Great lunch pizza buffet. Tastes like homemade dough and sauce. Give this place a shot, pizza with an attitude!

We love eating at Dough Momma’s!!! Their food is delicious. The portions are perfect. The price is spectacular!!! You can sit down and eat or they deliver. It makes me hungry just thinking about it…

Obviously each review is based on personal preference, so I want to make it clear that 2 stars doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend this place to somebody else or it wasn’t good. It was just OK in my opinion.
The pricing is very reasonable for a pizza buffet in that it includes a drink and great dessert options. When you pay, they ask you what your favorite pizza is so they can make one fresh for you. I love that.
The salad bar was very good. That’s never a make or break thing for me at a pizza place, but it’s always a plus.
Onto the actual pizza. This was the part that was disappointing. It’s not because there wasn’t any fresh pizza or we had bad service, it just wasn’t very good. It’s cut into very small triangle slices and lacked substance for me. Even the fresh pizza they made for us, with pepperoni and bacon, was just bland. My wife liked it better than I did but she’s not as picky about pizza. The same can be said about their breadsticks. They were bland, and the sauce they had for dipping was room temperature at best.
The dessert options were the best part. They have an ice cream freezer with options like Snickers and Twix Ice Cream Bars. These are some of my favorite desserts on the planet so that got me very excited. I had one of each.
To sum up, this place had everything you’d want from a pizza buffet – good salad bar, fresh pizza, they take requests, great dessert options – except for actually good pizza. So I don’t plan on returning, but that shouldn’t stop you from giving it a try.
*One recommendation for any employee reading this is to put a sign on the ice cream freezer outlining the rules of consumption. My wife and I grabbed a couple that we were going to take home and save for later. A girl that was sweeping the floor told us we couldn’t do that. A simple sign explaining there’s a limit per person or that they can’t be taken out of the restaurant would be helpful to avoid a situation like that.

Great concept. Came for supper, and paid $ 9.99 a piece. For this price, I would’ve expected more personalized service such as someone to come to the table and take the drink order and real silverware. The pizza options were limited, and some of it had been under the hot lamp for awhile. The ice cream cooler is a great concept complete with drumsticks, Twix, and snickers bars… but you can’t grab it and eat it on the way out. You must be eat it in the restaurant. :-/

Went by for lunch yesterday and had the buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. When we asked for a mushroom pizza since there wasn’t one out, they quickly made it and brought some out to us. Pizzas are smallish which is kid-​friendly and helps with portion control– but we still filled up. Standard toppings are good, and the bacon chicken ranch and barbecue pizzas are excellent. Salad bar is good, veggies were fresh. We loved that the ice cream treats were included, and the little homemade cookies didn’t look like much but were surprisingly soft and flavorful. Restaurant was very clean, too. Go support this neat local independent eatery!

Ordered delivery from Dough Mama’s. I tried to order on the app on my phone but the site said that they were closed so I had to call in. It came super quick like maybe 20 minutes. The pizza is okay enough I guess. It’s doughier than most pizzas but I’m sure that’s where the name comes in. The toppings aren’t abundant and not really done well. I ordered a pepperoni breadstick, a pepperoni pizza and an original 5 pizza. The pepperoni breadstick was okay. The pepperonis are scarce and there isn’t much flavor. The pepperoni pizza may have had 2 pepperonis per slice and the 5 pizza was okay. It’s weird… like the veggies looked like they had been cut that day but they were flavorless… and the sausage tastes like Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage. The pizza maybe have been better with a little crispness at least on the bottom of the crust and better toppings.
I got a menu on the pizza box and I do like that they have a variety of foods that they deliver so I may try them again, just not for pizza.

Dropped in for an early lunch a few weeks ago, and was very pleasantly surprised! The salad bar is standard fare but fresh and tasty, but the pizza is really, really good. That dough!
Had the buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Mac and Cheese pizza was a surprise favorite! Dough Mama’s goes the extra mile and provides premium products, condiments, and desserts, for a not so premium price.
Stopped in again last week and was a bit less enthralled, but I chalk that up to the timing. After lunch, before dinner. Us and one other table were the only ones there, and much of the buffet fare had been under the lamps for a bit long. But, the staff were happy to toss in a half of the pizza I requested and fresh breadstix, and those were as delicious as expected.
I suggest dropping by for the buffet during traditional dining hours for the best quality, but if you are ordering ala carte you should be happy with the food no matter what.

I really liked it. The pizza is a little doughier than some pizza, but I liked it. The sauce and toppings are good. I’ve only ordered 2 times, but it was good enough for a review. I haven’t had a chance to do the buffet yet.

I ordered pizza for delivery. First, I’ll say that the delivery was very fast considering I’m used to waiting at least 45 min for delivery from other pizza places. Everything was fresh and hot, which I loooove.
As for the pizza itself, I really liked it. It’s a bit doughier than other pizza places, but I like that. I may not have it every time I’m in the mood for pizza but I like it. It reminds me of pizza from the east coast where I grew up.
I’m going to try their buffet. I’m actually excited about the buffet. Usually with buffets you get soft serve ice cream for dessert, but with dough mommy’s you get individual ice cream treats like Choco-​tacos, Klondikes, etc and it’s not extra. For $ 7.99 (adult buffet) $ 3.99 (children’s buffet) that’s a great deal.
I may have to update this review afterwards. We’ll see…
