Great sub sandwiches! They offer a variety of breads, meats and toppings. The cost is a bit more but it’s a cut above your Subway just a few doors down. My only negative thing would be not to jump on their card where you can get a free cookie. Not able to eat nuts, it seemed I never could get anything without nuts so the donation for whatever cause it was that gave you a card for free cookies with so many visits was a waste. Want a great sandwich, this is the place and you’ll see several local TV celebs from time to time inside eating.

Quick service. Clean place. Huge portion size. Underwhelming taste. I’d go back here, I really would. DiBella’s has all the look and feel of a place that makes awesome deli sandwiches and subs. My two friends who came with me hardly breathed while they scarfed down their massive meals. I on the other hand, kept waiting for the magic to kick in. Whenever I go somewhere new I order the one of the traditional dishes, a lot of the time I’m triggered by the menu items with the restaurant’s name as a part of the entrée’s. I figured the«DiBella Cheesesteak» would be a signature slap to a Philly classic so I jumped on it. I like cheesesteaks. My first reaction to the sandwich was, «This thing could kill me in a fight.» It was HUGE! I didn’t think I could eat it all(I always underestimate myself). Filled to the brim with meat, provolone cheese, mushroom, onion and green pepper, this cheesy-behemoth was destined to please. My first bite, all pepper. My second bite, a better mixture, but really waiting for that special something to kick my taste buds into overdrive. Instead, my buds revved to a cool 2nd gear and stayed there throughout the lunching sesh. I’m definitely going to have to try again, because I want to love this place. I’m sure my 2nd sammy will be a winner, but, alas, not this time.

Hubby and I split the large Godfather with about everything on it, warm. The best part for me was the bread, sesame bun. Too much meat for my liking, and all bunched together, not spread out evenly on the sub. $ 10 sub, good to share. It was just okay, probably won’t be back, nothing extraordinary. Worth a try!

I was really hoping for great things from this place. I ordered the buffalo chicken sub on a regular bun. and it was very mediocre. The sauce and bread were both lacking in flavor and there was barely any cheese on the sandwich. If I do go back, I might try a cold sandwich on a different bread. My cousin had the Philly was unimpressed as well. The good thing about this place was that is was super clean and spacious inside!

Good food, local chain, potato salad is premixed but made to look like it was made in-house. It tastes fine, just very basic. I ordered the Godfather on multi grain bread. The bread is very good! The sandwich is also very good. I would order this again. I spent $ 12 but got a medium sandwich, potato salad was $ 1.49 and an Honest Tea. Sandwich is $ 6.99, a great value considering how large it is. The Spicy Ham is awesome. The staff is great as well and the interior is clean and classy. I would give it $ 5 stars if the potato salad was made fresh, if I could tip the sandwich artist, and if they had some signature something to differentiate themselves from their competition.

Love the sandwiches but they need to change operations somehow. Went for lunch and it took forever. There are some people leaving with sandwiches as they ordered a slots of pickups. I guess my mistake was ordering a grilled sandwich but it was very upsetting to see people walking away with lunch while standing there watching. I will say they did apologize

This was my first visit, and I met two new friends for lunch. I had the Italian sandwich. Silly me, I got the medium, when the small would have done the trick. Staff forgot the shop’s own dressing. Next time, I’ll make sure they add that and I’m going to have the sub toasted. I added a side of potato salad which was way too sweet. I had a fountain drink, and they permit free refills. The décor was nice, and the restaurant, as well as the restroom, were clean. There was a gentleman working there who was quick with clean-up of the booths when patrons left and did a nice job of helping customers. He had hustle and will go places in life! My favorite part, hands down, was the music! I didn’t know I liked Big Band music, but after my friends had to get back to their places of employment, I sat for a while, finishing my lunch, answering email, and enjoying that music. I guess this lunch is a monthly thing, so I’ll be back!

Quite by accident, I suggested that my daughter and I go out for subs one evening. She agreed, but noted that her boss had a sub tray delivered«from someplace that starts with a D» just that afternoon. So when saw the logo, she began, «These are good! These are good!» She was so damn right! She got a Turkey and Bacon while I got a Roast Beef Dip, both on «Everything» bread. Both had generous amounts of meats, and we both had to take half the sandwich home for next day lunch. My only complaint: The ‘au jus’ for the dip was just a couple of tablespoons full — not nearly enough for a sandwich this size. But I took half the sandwich home, and made my own ‘au jus’ with some canned beef broth, a bullion cube, and a touch of soy. A touch on the expensive side(just under $ 30 for the two of us), but beats the hell outta Subway in taste and Jimmy Johns in size. Nice, clean store in Traders Point, and a very sweet and friendly counter staff. Need to watch the wallet, but I think I’ve found my new sub joint!

This place seems really popular and busy, but it handles a large crowd with no problems. My sandwich was quite large so I would recommend getting one of the smaller sizes. I got a side of potato salad that had great taste. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t sub for chips in the combo meal. Overall it’s a good sandwich shop but I’m not sure it’s worth the money.

The subs are huge, but lack flavor. While there my girlfriend was ignored and it took a lot long than it should have. Not worth the money at all.

Looks damn tasty… toasted subs with a couple of dides to choose ftom. But not a lot of vegetarian options if that is your thing. Not the quickest meal ever, but still better than Subway.

Large ham sub sandwich cost you about $ 10 but they pile on the meat and fresh toppings. Great bread .Very good would definitely stop by again if in the area.

Subs are good. Large portions(a small filled me up). I will say… service is quite bad. I’d rate it a 3/10…all the employees I interacted with seemed to not be happy, and never greeted me or said thank you. I noticed this at the dibellas downtown as well. That said I probably won’t be back because the Subs while good or not better than some competitors, ones that actually appreciate you going to their establishment.

In general I’m not a huge fan of warm sandwiches and you think by now I would have learned. Nope. I still got my sandwich hot even though I don’t remember asking for it to come that way. Maybe I had to specify not to grill it. This place does a solid lunch business and I think it’s in part to their delicious cookies. I sampled my friend’s and immediately regretted my decision to get chips. Pros: The sandwiches are giant. The small definitely would have been big enough for one person. Trust me. The medium sandwich is HUGE! Dibella’s packs in the meat filling to the point it’s almost hard to take a bite. When choosing bread, opt for the multigrain. It was soft, healthy, and all kinds of noms. I’m a carbivore, so my opinion should matter on that one. Cons: The prices are a little steep. A medium sandwich, chips, and a drink was over $ 10. I got what I paid for since the sandwich was so large and I was able to get two meals out of it. Guys wouldn’t be able to do the same. Overall, Dibella’s ranges somewhere between okay and good.

This place can get really busy during lunch, and it only takes about 5 people standing in line before it spills out the door. Service also varies greatly; when you’re the only one there, food comes out quickly. With a large group or arrive during the lunch rush, your food might be delayed quite some time since the line for the grill backs up. As for the quality of the food, the sandwiches are piled with meats and cheeses and the bread is delicious. I stuck with my favorite: the Dagwood on everything bread. Perfect-o! One note: I’ve always gotten the small and have walked away full, but not stuffed. Sizes run big, so only order a large if you’re really hungry.

The only bad thing about DiBellas is that there aren’t enough of them around town. Thankfully there is one close to my work so I’m able to get one of their delicious subs as often as I want. The bread is better than any other sub place in town, they are generous with their toppings and the serving sizes are huge. I love their oil topping and the chocolate chip cookie is probably the best cookie there is.

I had seen, be never been to a DiBella’s sandwich shop. My first experience here was pretty decent. Bread: 10⁄10 — Sandwich: 8⁄10 — Price: $ — Service: 5⁄10 There are not too many sandwich base choices, but you can customize your sandwich order any way you’d like. I went with the ‘Old Fashioned,’ small; turkey, ham, salami on the ‘everything’ bread with all the fixings and some house oil. With chips and a drink, it came to just under $ 10. The service was kind of the impatient kind, like, ‘the last thing I want to be doing right now is taking your order, so let’s get this over with’ kind. Ugh. Sandwich came out pretty quickly, I liked the presentation of the sandwich bag, easy for to-go orders. The sandwich was a lot larger then I was expecting. I don’t want to know how big a large is! Overall, this sandwich was really good, the bread made this meal, for sure(guess I should enjoy it now before I go full gluten-free…) The oil was really good too. Overall, I really like the food here, I just wish the service was just as good.

I grew up near Buffalo, NY and when I moved out to Indy 7 years ago… DiBella’s is one of the things I missed most(aside from my family and friends of course). I was thrilled when DiBella’s opened in Ohio and then here in Indy. I’m not a big fan of warm subs(although that is an option) so I always go for the cold cut options, like the Old Fashioned or the Godfather. They have the freshest ingredients and many different topping options. The bread is fresh baked daily and you have your choice of types of bread. Beware of the sizes and don’t be scared of the prices. A small or medium sub for my husband is plenty. The fresh baked cookies are an extra bonus if you still have any room. Best subs around!

I’m pumped to report back to you that the subs are more amazing the second time. Only this time I spiced up my sandwich a bit. Oh and can you believe that my sub almost got snagged by someone(shaking my head) yes they are that good. You’ll probably want to order a small because I ordered a medium, and I promise it was a large. The subs are literally big submarines! There was plenty of food leftover for the following day. Thumbs up! Anyways, the bread was fluffy and flavorable. The Swiss cheese was perfectly meshed into my grilled steak, peppers, onions and pickles. It was filled with sweet savor. I could barely stop eating. These submarines are worth taking a dive in. Ha! They also have some bomb macadamia cookies. I also enjoyed the old diner feel of the establishment. The tunes and the photos all were representing that«back in the day feel.» I will be back for some more delightful submarines.

Wow, I almost feel guilty checking out DiBella’s Subs without Dillon. But that just means I have another reason to go there again this week. Excellent sandwiches, extremely friendly staff(there’s a TON of them), and super fast service. I was in and out in less than 6 minutes even though the place was super packed with the lunch crowd. At first I though the prices were a little steep; $ 6 for a small sandwich, $ 7 medium, and $ 9 for a large. But for the size of the sandwich and the amount of goodies that’s stuff into it, the price is just right.
