Don’t even consider these people. Rude, obnoxious, dishonest, system is faulty at best, just a bad all around company. ADT should NOT be affiliated with these crooks at all

Background: I responded by phone to a mailer regarding security system installation. I called and made it clear that was not looking to buy but get a firm estimate. The next 45 minutes of the conversation were a laundry list of dirty car sales tactics and lies. Somehow a consultation with a tech turned into a purchase, near the end of the call I backed out of everything and magically I need to speak to someone else to cancel something I didn’t order. The only time I realized I order anything was when the recorded disclosure was played and as soon as that end I knew I had been scammed into a contract and they already had charged my credit card. This company represents itself as ADT but they are merely a reseller. They make you commit to a firm 36 month contract even if you move, you either take the service or pay. I call on the Google and Amazon gods to make companies like this and ADT be extinct in a few years. They haven’t learned that in today’s business environment you can’t get far with unfair business practices and dishonestly.

woahhh Fraud Alert, they took down my CC#, then I realized that they fraudulently charged my card to an office depot in another state. Slimey shit!

My experience is that this company is not honest and forthright in its dealings with its customers. First off when the service tech comes to your home for the installation they will try to up sell you system components and services with out regard to what you ordered. They also will not disclose all information about redeeming the $ 100 Visa gift card. Beware of this company not to be 100% trusted.

I wish I can Give these people negative Stars called to find out about a system just like the last review said they out of no where your credit is ran an charged. They will Agree on everything over the phone then when the tech show up to your house he will show up with a diff package then what you agreed on over the phone then when you cancel with them you have to fax a notice of cancellation the notice of cancellation says that I should receive my money after 10 business days and it has been 18 days sales rep by the name (Rick Powell and Pryce Armstrong) are the liars that works there the whole company is a rip-​off do not sign up with them im going to complain on the BBB. As you see the only 2 positive reviews on here are people that works there. When I posted my review there was only one negative review on here they r a liars STAY AWAY. THE DATE SAYS IT ALL!!!

Called to get more information about installing an ADT security system, and within minutes found myself divulging my social, getting a credit check, and running $ 99 installation fee on my credit card. I felt like I was unable to ask questions and the sales pitch was relentless. They never even asked me «would you like to sign up?» they just go straight into the billing and appointment talk! Didn’t like the vibe so I ended up canceling a day later to go with Vivint, which has been awesome so far. When I cancelled, they told me I was making a mistake, Vivint is terrible, etc. Very unprofessional! I think these guys are related to «Protect your home» which was who answered the phone when I called.
