Deering John Cleaners

Absolutely appalling customer service! I’ve had numerous bad experiences (far more than I can go into in this review) but this last trip will be my last. I brought in a bridesmaid’s dress to be steamed. As I was spelling my last name for one clerk, another came up and interrupted me with a rant about another customer to the first clerk. When I picked up the dress, I pointed out that it was still a little wrinkled. The clerk just laughed nervously and said that was the best they could do. Then, she had the nerve to charge me $ 20 for the steaming! I asked her if she could do anything about the price as they hadn’t done a very good job. She said no. So I asked if she’d rather do something about the price or lose a regular customer. She shrugged… and so now, I have a new regular cleaners.

They ruined a dress while dry cleaning it. It was silk with beading everywhere. When I picked the dress up many of the beads were missing. I returned it to be fixed and after two trips back it was eventually fixed. I guess they made things right but I won’t return to this or their other locations because not enough care was taken with my clothes.
They do dry clean down vests, jackets and comforters well.
