College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

Hired College Hunks for the first time and they were spectacular. Not only did they call ahead of time but were able to get me moved up to an earlier time which was my preference. Brandon and Lee where extremely professional and certainly made this experience stress free. I must say the tasks at hand were not enviable as I had and extremely heavy projection screen TV that needed to be loaded on their truck from my basement, along with a much heavier treadmill which needed to go from the basement up two flights to a bedroom, and various other items These gentlemen busted it to get the job done and never once showed an ounce of angst. Spreading the word as this is the route to go to take care of all your heavy lifting.

This was my first experience with College Hunks and I was very impressed. All 3 guys worked hard and quickly while still being very respectful to my property. They were polite and positive throughout the entire process.

They called when they said they would, showed up on time, did the work efficiently and accepted credit card payment. I am very pleased with the service.

The HUNKS were very professional. Arrived on time and were quick to get things done. We were trying to get rid of some things that we weren’t using anymore. I was happy to find out that they pick up and deliver to an organization that I was hoping to donate to. Even took some things that I hadn’t anticipated getting rid of earlier.

Absolutely phenomenal service. The gentlemen showed up precisely when they said they would and executed perfectly. I’ll be booked with College Hunks the next time I move, hands down.

I hired College Hunks to pick up and deliver furniture from Direct Buy. Joe & John met me promptly at 10. They loaded the three pieces quickly. Within twenty minutes they were at my residence. They sized up the situation and went to work. Tool kit, bumper pads on the doorway, sizing up the storm door for removal… they did not miss a thing. They removed the legs from the sofa to get it through the narrow doorway. Within two hours, they were finished… smoothest move ever. I highly recommend College Hunks and will use them again..

College Hunks Moving were extremely professional. Had great communication with us throughout the estimation & planning process. Willing to answer any questions. They moved our things very quickly, but with great care. Pricing was competitive with other moving companies. Would definitely use again & would recommend to others!

Laid stuff on the floors to protect my house. Helped me move everything to where I wanted it. They were amazing! Couldn’t be happier. And very well priced!

We contacted Jeff, the local franchise owner, on Tuesday for a move the following Saturday. He came the next day to inspect our «stuff» and give us a quote. He was extremely professional and gave helpful tips before we started packing. Moving day was a long grind but they worked incredibly hard the whole time. This was a concern of mine when dealing with movers who are charged by the hour. They worked quick but also used extreme care with our furniture/​belongings. I would strongly recommend Jeff and his crew if you need help moving.

After my experience with Two Men and a Truck (my review is on Unilocal) I was hesitant about every moving company but College Hunks Moving had the best rates I could find so I decided to try them out.
When I called to get an estimate and schedule a move I talked to Jeff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Over the course of the next few weeks I was able to provide additional information and ask questions via text. I had to change my move time (twice) and both times they were very accommodating.
My move was scheduled for 8am and the guys were there right on time. They came in, quickly evaluated the move, got the paperwork out of the way and went right to work. They were very quick but they also took the time to make sure everything was wrapped or strapped correctly. I had moved most of my stuff to the first floor to save time (since I was paying by the hour) and they had everything loaded in the truck and were on their way to my new apartment in 1.5 hours.
I moved into a 6^th floor apartment which wasn’t really the easiest situation but again the guys worked quickly. The whole move took just 3 hours and 15 minutes. I did have one lamp that broke but it wasn’t worth much and I’m not really sure I can blame the movers since it really could have happened at any time.
Moving is a pain but these guys made it as painless as it could be. I hope not to move again for a while but if I do, you better believe I’ll be using this service again. Thank you!

I needed immediate help with moving. I had some people moving me out of my apartment and needed extra help. After calling around not having much luck, a friend mentioned College Hunks. I have never heard of this place but gave them a call. They normally haul junk but also have a moving service and when I called the 800 number, they hooked me up with the local store. I spoke with the owner, Jeff. I explained to him my situation and really needed help within an hour. He was very nice, called up his guys and called me right back and told me that they were on a job but could get there in about 3 hours. I told him that I really couldn’t wait. He then offered HIS service. He left the office and went to help himself! Thats commitment! To give the other guys a break he offered to go to where I was putting my things in storage and he and two of his guys got everything off the truck in about an hour. They were the nicest people. The price was certainly right as well. Jeff even sent me a hand written note in a card thanking me for my business. I never have written a review before and because my experience with this company was so great I decided to write this!
