I have been going to see «Chris The Barber» for 20 years now. I will not get my haircut any place else. This is the traditional barber shop with three chairs. As another review wrote it is a place that knows your name. If you live on the westside and are tired of those salons that cater to men and want a real manly place come to Clippers on Rockville Rd.

I’ve been going to Clippers for MANY years! (decades) Not many old-​fashioned barbershops still alive to carry on the tradition. I LOVE Gerald and Chris and Charlie (whenever he’s around). These guys are family to me! I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Haircuts are reasonably priced and the quality of work is terrific. Don’t expect a bunch of teeny-​bopper, loud-​mouth, disprectful kids in here. The guys run a MAN’S barbershop, and the patrons behave accordingly. Don’t get me wrong, children are welcome and are in the shop all the time… they just aren’t allowed to run the place. Great spot for a grown man to come and relax, visit, swap a joke, tell a fish-​story, and get a great haircut!

Been going here to Clippers since just shortly after moving to Indy five years ago. Love it. Chris is bound to be telling some joke or singing some song. Gerald will no doubt be rolling his eyes and feigning annoyance. Anyone remember that theme song to Cheers? «Where everyone knows your name…». This is that place, well minus the beer, which come to think of it I may have to recommend on my next visit. This is the classic olé barber shop, and not one of those cheesy salons.

As Barbershops become extinct… this one carrys on a tradition. Thanks to the great haircuts provided by both «Chris» and the owner «Gerald». This is definitely the best barber shop to go for for a flat-​top, hands down. I have been a customer now for 10 years and have never felt like I didn’t get the best haircut out there… matter of fact, I hate having to go anywhere else, and I am sure you will feel the same if you give it a try!
