Chad’s Barber Shop

This is the best barbershop in Indianapolis. I have never had a bad haircut or experience here. There are always 6 to 12 barbers working. The most I have ever waited to get my hair cut was 30 minutes. They are very professional. Prices are very affordable. They also have flat screens through out the shop, which is great if you want to watch sports. This is a real barbershop. I can get shaved with an actual straight razor. Do yourself a favor and stop in to Chad’s Barbershop next time you need to hair cut and shave. You won’t regret it.

Great haircut and price but the wait is beyond ridiculous. They’re unorganized with the order. My friends and I have been skipped multiple times when coming here. If you’re coming in for a haircut clear up like 2.5−3 hours seriously.

You know how you hear about things and the legend grows so big it’s almost unbelievable?
Well, today I was finally in town and decided to swing by the famous Chad’s Barber Shop, where I found myself on one of the most absurd waiting lists ever — but fully understand why.
These guys have an absolute stranglehold on any competition around and I couldn’t be happier for him, his employees or his customers. I’ve been everywhere from N.Y.C. to L.A. and anyone who knows me understands that I am very particular about my hair and will be gladly returning when he hits me up in a few hours to come back through.
And yes, a few hours is well worth the wait. I mean, it’s not like you can just walk up to the White House and expect the President to be at your service, y’know?
Absolutely recommend to anyone in the area — and if you’re not in the greater-​Indianapolis area, you’re missing out!

Chad’s Barber shop is located in a tiny strip mall next to Big Lots on Madison Ave. I walked in on a Saturday to a 1 hour 20 minute wait. I had heard many good things about Chad’s but this was my first visit.
David Martinez did the hair cut for my 7 year old son. He was really great with him. A heck of a lot better than the women who have cut his hair in the past at great clips. My son wanted puppies on his head… I didn’t. David offered a suggestion on a smaller design and took it from there.
There staff is awesome at Chad’s and even though the place was crazy busy it just seemed like a bunch of friends had gotten together on a Saturday and we’re hanging out.
Very professional, very friendly, very knowledgeable. Will definitely come back here.

Chad’s Barbershop is a good place to get a quality haircut.

This is the best barber shop that I have been to. The barbers are all really nice and cut hair good. They do great cutting women’s hair.

This is one of my best barbershop experiences ever! From the time I saw the full parking lot on a Sunday morning, I knew I was in the right place. Although, the shop was PACKED, I got to the chair in no time, ’cause they have about 9 barbers. While I waited, I realized that every one of these guys can cut, so I sat down with Erick (first available) and got a great cut myself!!!
I LOVED the energy, the conversations and the comraderie of the customers and the barbers. The music was great and we were all havin’ a good time. A BIG added touch was the shoulder/​back massage machine they use to finish off the cut :-)
I highly recommend his place!!!

This is an old school barber shop run by new school guys. Those 90 year old barbers we had growing up weren’t going to last but now there is a new generation. No self-​respecting man should have to get a hair cut at a salon and Chad’s team is here to save you from that.
There may not be many reviews on Unilocal but this place is no secret. It started out in the same strip mall but they just keep growing. Prepare to wait in line on a Saturday. Once you’re finally in the chair, they’ll line you up in record time and send you on your way with a massage.
P. S. It’s a machine, not some dude massaging you.

9 chairs so even when it’s busy you can get a haircut pretty quick. All the barbers are good, I don’t have one that I consistently go to. These guys are all really good. I go out of my way to go there but its the only place I go. And for $ 13, you can’t beat it.
