Was not impressed with the greasy burgers. Beer was subpar. If I want a Bud Lite, I’ll go to my grandmas and drink. At least put a local beer on tap. The wait staff wasn’t very fast either. Had to drink sweet tea which ended up being mostly ice.

They have an amazing amount of TVs, which makes it my favorite place during March Madness. The thing that keeps me from eating here more is the general lack of healthy options. The service staff is friendly but seems a bit overwhelmed at time. My favorite thing to get here is Pizza. The ingredients taste really fresh.

It is exactly what you expect it would be. beer is cold. I can’t help but think of office space movie walking into here.

Great place for some Bud’s to meet for food, beers and football. I ordered a large diet domestic and a Bubba Burger. The service is fast and there are large LED monitors everywhere showing current NFL games. Within a minute, Christina had our large beers at the table(faster than a drive through). Beer here is wonderfully cold and refreshing. Food came out later and was delish. Also the pizza looks great and we agreed next time to order.

I’m really surprised by this place. We have wanted to try it since it opened. It’s always extremely busy. We only had to wait for about twenty minutes before we were seated. Our waitress wasn’t extremely attentive, but she had a lot of other tables. The food was good though.

Servers are always friendly. Food is usually good, although I’ve gotten the wrong items several times the server promptly corrects the issue and sends a manager to check in. Beer is always perfectly cold and fresh. Tons of TVs so people can keep up with every type of sportsing ever. However there are no nutrition guidelines available anywhere in the restaurant or online. Which is a major downfall for anyone with dietary restrictions.

First off, get the onion rings. I wish I had one in my mouth right now they were so good and crispy. I had the Sunshine burger, and it was very tasty– the egg was perfectly runny and it was messy as hell… like a good burger should be. The sweet potato fries were good too, though I was surprised there wasn’t a dipping sauce for them, but they didn’t seem to need it.

Decent burgers, pretty good pizza(sauce is very acidic), prices are awesome. Servers are fantastic. It’s a a little loud on game day. But it’s great to sit back, have a good burger and chill.

The décor is relaxing, music not overpowering, the place was clean and service was ok. The pizza was better than I expected as I love Jockamos in Greenwood. The cheese was fresh and they way it should be, soft, slightly chewy and stringy… Topping were more than sufficient and the crust was wonderful. The only downside was waiting on the food and the server needed to be a little more attentive. I will be back to try again…

Had lunch here again today. As usual, the bartender was attentive and checked on me frequently. They really have an excellent staff of bartenders. I always get a salad, and went with the grilled chicken salad today. The salads have never disappointed. It all tastes fresh and delicious. I’m an IPA fan. Luckily, they have Grapefruit Jungle in addition to Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, so I have some options now. Beer is always cold, and the 33 oz. glasses can satisfy anyone. I’ll be back again and again.

After several visits this has become one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Indianapolis. I’ve tried several dishes from their menu and so far their double bacon chicken and country fried steak have been my favorites so far. Well, those dishes and their Queso and Salsa dips as an appetizer. I haven’t tried any of their pizzas yet, but I will do that on my next visit. Also to be liked at this restaurant is the very good service and the oh so cold and refreshing beers. They do have a very good selection of local and national brands. All in all, I’m beginning to love this place. I highly recommend it to anyone. :-)

Soooo Bubbas. I was excited to try this place. They have an interesting interior, it’s like 60’s meets 90’s meets Nascar. Very interesting. They have an awesome open, covered outside eating area perfect for the summer adult beverage. They have all your standard brews plus a limited assortment of local brews as well. The food was pretty good. Shotgun shrimp are where it’s at(think bang bang shrimp at bonefish grill) I got the bacon Bubba burger which claimed to be 33% bacon. Meh…. Not so much. Everything else was really good though. This would be a great place to come for like a happy hour or GameDay. It’s an upscale bar basically with decent food.

We had an opportunity to visit Bubba’s 33 for the first time this week. It was recommended by friends, so we knew we would enjoy it. And, until the last 3 minutes, we did. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat at a table by the open garage doors. Some music playing in the background was nice and the wall-to-wall flat screens were enough to make us think we would definitely come back with friends to watch sports while we eat. We ordered the onion rings to start. They were a bit greasy, but not bad. I had the Aloha Chicken. My fiancé had the 33 Deluxe pizza. Of course, he shared some with me and it was delicious. I rarely order a pizza at a place that isn’t a «pizza place» but it would be a perfect shareable meal and I would definitely order it again. The Aloha Chicken was very good, too. Perfect combination of sweet and spicy and enough for me to take half home for lunch the next day. When we got our bill we were pleasantly surprised how inexpensive our meals were and immediately put it on our«will return» list. This is when things went sour. As I mentioned, we were sitting by the open garage doors. My fiancé smelled it before I did. One of our most hated scents… cigarettes. We were disappointed to realize that if we came back, we would not be able to sit by the open garage doors, but even more disappointed when we walked out the front doors to leave and had to go through the stench being made not by another patron… but, an employee. This truly was the only downfall of our visit. I don’t imagine you can do much about guests smoking outside should they want to, but I wish you could make a designated spot far away from guests who may detest the smell for the employees.

Yes! Tempted to give the full five stars but I’ve only been once. So the burgers? Amazing. Some of my favorite in the city. At $ 9 it’s legit. Did you know they put bacon into their ground beef, and then that’s the burgers? I got the California burger with the bacon-beef burger with bacon on it(!!) and guacamole. Dang. Even the bun is buttered and toasted. Yeah, I bet it’s a 1000 calories, but it’s so tasty. My partner got the pepperoni pizza. They brag about their pizzas but I’m not sure what he thought. It looked like a basic greasy pepperoni pizza… but people love them, so looks possibly aren’t everything! And the fries? Omg why isn’t my stomach able to eat all the things! Very tasty. The ‘Murrica margarita is quite large(couldn’t finish) and has some kick to it, on top of being super pretty with red white and blue. It’s very sour, however, so not everyone will like it. At $ 6+$ 1 for flavor it was a good deal. Our waitress was amazing! Since it was our first time she explained the whole menu to us(and honestly!). Loved her.

Everything was great until we left our Togo box of pizza on the table to go outside for less than 2 minutes and we came back and it was gone. We were told they threw it away already? Really?!? After less than 2 minutes? I only ate two slices of that pizza! That’s rude! Unacceptable

Stopped by here today to get something to eat, kinda figured out what kind of place it was when the outside says, pizza, burgers, beer. Seated right away the place is kind of dark and was freezing. Booths are huge and even though it was 3 people easily could have seated 6 w/no problem. I got the double bacon chicken, with a wedge salad, wife got the aloha burger, kid got some kind of fried cheese monstrosity. Everything was fine, salad was saturated in bleu cheese(not good) and wife’s burger came with a mountain of fries. Menu is basic chain food variety, I think I ate the healthiest thing on the menu, one could close their eyes and think they were at Applebees/Chilis. Overall not bad, doubt I would hit this place up again as they bring nothing new to the table. Service was fine, price for 2 people and a kid, little under $ 40.

It’s hard to believe this used to be a shoe store. I also can’t believe that they’re rockin out to some 80s music! We arrived on a Monday, two minutes after they opened. Which or course meant we were seated right away. Our server arrived immediately and took our drink order. When she brought our drinks she explained the menu to us as we’ve never been here before. The odd thing was instead of asking to start with an appetizer she just walked away. She came back a few minutes later and took our appetizer and main course order. While she was away I took a look around and found the place to be very clean. A few moments later our appetizer came out. We chose the fried pickles. They were excellent! They were fried up, perfectly. There were none missing batter, and they weren’t overdone to where the pickles were dried out. They come with ranch and«bubba» sauce to dip them in. There is a perfect amount of seasoning which gives them a little kick without being too much. Our burgers came out a very short time after we finished the pickles. We both ended up getting the Sunshine burger. The burger’s are ground up on location when they’re ordered… and several burgers are made up of 33% bacon… which this burger is. This particular burger also comes with a fried egg on top, which can either be sunny side up, or hard over. The burger has great flavor and texture. The beef patty is large and the toppings are plentiful and make this burger a great value. The shoestring fries are delicious as well. Good flavor and cooked well. I didn’t look at the end of the meal if they offered dessert, but since I was full I didn’t want it even if they did. Our sever when she brought the check also brought us to-go cups even without us asking her. I thought that was very nice. The service overall was very good. Our server was friendly and checked on us often. Even the people at the door were nice. This place far exceeded my expectations and I am sure I will be back again. Maybe next time I’ll try the pizza that our server was telling us about.

My dad was very insistent on trying this place out. I had to do some Unilocal-snooping ahead of time to make sure it wasn’t some wierd/shady/hole in the wall-esque place that would gross me out… Fear not, this is NOT one of those places! Parking made it look completely packed but it wasn’t. I walked in and was immediately seated in the sealed-off bar area and greeted by our server. Since it was nice out the garage door windows were open. I’d never been to a place that had a bar completely separate from the rest of the place — kind of nice. TV’s surround the entire restaurant, playing Sports Center, sports, and music videos with the music over the entire place [some oldies came into rotation and made dad happy]. Weeknight bar specials aren’t too bad price-wise [usually saving a few $ off $ 6 – 12 drinks]. I got the $ 5 Bubba beeeer [because 330z is a lot of beer!]. Both of us got a sandwich with fries. Those fries are just as good as HopCat’s crack fries [similar frying technique I think]. My Sunshine Burger was super messy since it has an egg. Messy, but really flavorful. Wish it came with more of the Bubba Bacon!

We went hear last week after volunteering at the Final Four Music Fest because getting into anything downtown was out of the question. We had wanted to try this since construction began. I had the sunshine burger. I love fried eggs and hamburger. It was served with skinny fries that were well seasoned. Service was good and the food was good. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Yes, they have TONS of televisions and this night they were all on the final four games in the bar so that was kind of fun watching the game with the crowd. The beer selection is really good and full service at the bar is available. Next visit I want to try more beer and the pizzas.
