Bohemian Red Images

After a lot of research, we hired Katie of Bohemian Red Images to be our wedding photographer. We had our engagement photo session recently and Katie was a dream to work with. She has worked well our suggestions/​requests (we wanted to recreate a scene from «It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia» for our «fun» photos). She also came up with ideas we never would have thought of, in terms of locations, poses, etc. The whole experience was really fun — I was worried about feeling silly or not being able to relax. Her bubbly personality makes it very easy to have fun!
Another great thing about Katie is the work she does with refugees. She travels around the world, taking photographs. (There’s info about that on her website). While her travels meant that we had to have our photos done in November, we were more than willing to wait.
Personality was the most important thing for me when it came to choosing a photographer; I wanted to work with someone with whom I would feel comfortable, especially because she will be around all day for the wedding. Katie is professional, thorough and, like I said, fun.
