So… How do you review a restaurant where you can’t get seated and then, service? Poor management at yet another Bob Evans. My money spends just fine elsewhere. Not worth the wait or the money.

Went to Bob Evans as a last resort for a Saturday night. Luckily, they weren’t busy at all. Unfortunately, service was slow. We got seated immediately after one gentleman ahead of us was. He eventually left due to not getting his drink order taken… We waited 10 mins and a nice guy named Marcus came and asked for our drink order. He brought those out fast. We waited about 10 more minutes for our server(a really nice girl named Jenna) to ask for our order. We placed it and waited about 25 mins for our food(only two of us). Our mashed potatoes had a weird, hard top skin layer like it had been sitting there a while and the sausage links were over done. We had already ran out of our drinks and got refills after we received our food. Don’t get me wrong, Jenna was chipper and sweet but where the service is concerned definitely lacked. Next time, I’d rather have a wait at another restaurant for better service and food.

Was surprised how fast I got my order. When I did it was hot an prepared perfect. My server was helpful an polite and check to make sure I was happy with my meal. Good food for the price and I’ll eat here again when I am back here.

Would love to have reviewed the food and service… Unfortunately., I received none of either. For the third visit in a row, I stood at the hostess stand for nearly ten minutes waiting to be seated in a restaurant that wasn’t that busy. Watched two other customers leave in obvious disgust, one after having sat long enough to finish a cup of coffee without having his order taken. Most annoyingly, several servers and staff looked directly at me, then wandered around aimlessly trying to look busy(straightening displays, etc.). Yes, the customers see you doing this. No, we are not convinced. No, we do not care that it’s «someone else’s job» to seat us… Especially if that person is nowhere to be found. My business will go elsewhere.

The quality of most of the food was very good, as was the service. There were several issues such as the long wait to get the food brought out and the biscuits being over cooked and dry.

Did was as reliable as usual, but the service — well, there really was no service. I walked in to find two customers waiting to pay while I waited to be seated. I was then seated at a table that still had crumbs from the previous dinner … I had to brush them off myself. I was ready to order before my server even introduced herself. I then waited what seemed longer than usual for my food to be delivered. Two minutes after my food was served was the only time my server ever returned to the table. I ran out of drink before food, and never received a refill. After tiring of waiting for my bill, I approached the register to pay and told the person who came to ring me out that I didn’t have my bill because I never received it or a drink refill. He made no comment other than to print my bill for me. As I signed the receipt, I commented that there would be no tip, just as I had received no refill. Again, no comment from him. All of this on a relatively slow evening. No refill. No apology. No thank you. The only reason this isn’t a one star review is that the food lived up to my expectations.

we go here a few times a month, i wish they opened earlier and we would go more often, Avon does not have any good late night early morning places so we sometimes have to stay awake until 6am to get some good food here! they have really good sweet tea and the other thing i like about them is they will cook lunch stuff for me at 6am. sometimes i just do not want breakfast. we went Friday morning at 6am May 9th and i got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a sweet tea. also ordered the cheese bites for appetizer and they are good, not a huge fan of their marinara sauce but at least they heat it up, most places try and serve it cold. gross. but the other person with me got the Caramel Banana Pecan Cream hotcakes. They have to be the best I have ever eaten! Caramel Banana Pecan Cream Stuffed with honey-roasted pecans and fresh banana slices then smothered with warm, caramel banana sauce. i copied that straight from their menu. AMAZING! they bring syrup and i just dont know how anyone could add anymore sweet to it. but hey to each their own. they are all super nice in the mornings. i like to get their soups to go and heat them up later too. the two ladies who work there have been there for a long time i think, they are always there when i go in. they must have the patience of job. because they wait on some needy people and do so with a smile. the table of seniors to the left were whining about their bacon so she microwaved it for them and even patted it dry with a napkin and served it to them. and the two senior ladies behind us ordering off the kids menu and then chasing the server down every time she walked away from the table really. so much nicer than i would be if i were there waiting tables. some people just should not eat out. wait staff are NOT your personal slaves so dont treat them as if they are. have a nice day!

I think that many of us have gone to Bob Evans. I don’t usually frequent the place, unless I am with my parents. I went there recently on our way home from a trip. It was fantastic! GETTHE3 course TURKEYDINNER only $ 9.99. I split this with my mom and it was a lot of food!

It appears as Bob Evans is remolding this location, and now has reopened…

Ordered a carry out cater from my iPhone App. For $ 55 I fed breakfast to 10 people at my school. They give you everything! Tongs, plates, napkins, and condiments as well. Ordered the night before and was ready the next morning at the time I requested. Awesome!

We stopped here yesterday on our mini-road trip. I’d remembered stopping at Bob Evans on family vacations years ago and decided to give them a try. Not disappointed. The staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is not the best and it could probably use a serious updating, but other than that it was great. The food was delicious and the menu offered something for everyone. Prices reasonable. I really wish they had Bob Evans up here in Wisconsin. Denny’s really sucks compared to this place!

I went there as this location was right at the front of the hotel I was staying. The interior looks wholesome, and slightly better than Denny’s. But service was so slow. Waitresses had to be in charge of several tables. The side salad was larger than expected, and simply a bunch of veggie fibers. I mean, it tasted so bland my appetite didn’t exactly get affected by it. My pot roast sandwich was smaller than expected, but thankfully tasted«big.» The shredded roast beef was filled with taste, with cheese and onion slices adding good taste. I kinda wished it’d have been a little bigger. Cole slaw was also very good. Chopped green onion gave a nice kick to the otherwise boring side dish. My coworker did not want to drive further, so that’s why we ended up being stuck there. It’s conveniently located at the front of Best Western Airport Suites, so shouldn’t suffer from the lack of customers.
