Nice atmosphere an most of the time food is good. My wife had a hair in hers. However the service was poor. We could only get one round of drinks with or food. The server never came by again after our food was served. We decided to pack up our food and eat it at home where we had drinks.

Nicely lit place, quiet atmosphere at the tables, Saturday night Karoké is fun with a cool DJ. The food was great, the cheese fries and Pretzel sticks are some of the best I’ve found around town.

Food is good and great entertainment throughout the week. Trivia on Tuesday and Saturday. Bingo on Wednesdays

Best things to order here: well, it starts first of all with the Pork Tenderloin sandwich. You can get the full size or a half-sized sandwich, breaded or grilled– they are all good and among some of the best in Indy. Burgers are good too. Actually most of their menu is great. The only downsides are that the place is not very big, and sometimes can be crowded during lunch hours…

Though I live just down the road, I had never heard of Billy O’Neals until a friend suggested it as a dinner option. I was in the mood for some decent pub food, and this place seemed like it would fit the bill. Walking in, I was reminded of the feel of The Wellington in Broad Ripple. The atmosphere is dark; dark wood, dark fabrics, and sconces along the wall. The place struck me as charming, yet out of place for the neighborhood. And it instantly made me sad that we were two of only three patrons in the place. My companion and I ordered an appetizer of Dublin Fries. For our entrees, I ordered a hamburger(bacons and mushrooms, please!) and said partner in crime ordered the tenderloin sandwich(an Indiana tradition). Honestly, the food reminded me of a homier version of Steak N’ Shake eats. This is not a bad thing! The fries were thin and crispy, smothered in shredded cheese, bacon and ranch dressing. They really hit the spot. I imagine had I been drunk in any capacity, I would have thanked the Gods that be for such a treat. My burger was thin with crisp edges, another similarity to the Steak N’ Shake chain. The bacon was cooked just right, and the bun was toasted. Delicious. On the other hand, they were a little skimpy on the mushrooms and the Swiss cheese tasted like Kraft singles brand. Not a big deal, this was still a tasty burger! Their homemade chips are also pretty delicious and cooked just right. The texture reminded me of an Elephant Ear if a savory option were available. My friend’s tenderloin looked amazing as far as tenderloins go(I’m not a fan), and he keeps coming back to this establishment for said sandwich. I don’t know if it stakes its claim as Indiana’s «BIGGEST» tenderloin, but sticking that thing between a bun(or trying to) is laugh-worthy. The Wednesday drink special is $ 4.00 mixed drinks, and my whiskey/diet was easily what I’d consider a double, so bonus there. The only minor drawback I can think of was that, for being practically empty, our waitress could have been MUCH more attentive. All in all, I had a really good experience and will definitely be back the next time I am in the mood for decent bar food that’s close by!

Good food and a great atmosphere however service kinda sucks. The woman behind the bar seems too concerned with talking with those who are here drinking.
