Delicious food, excellent service(ask for Britt), great beer, reasonable prices. Definitely worth checking out.

It seems I spend a lot of time in chain restaurants. However this is a nice change. Upon arriving I saw several trucks parked outside. To me, this is a good sign. Farmers and rednecks know good food. The appetizer was large enough for two. A meal by itself. My burger was hand crafted. A fancy term for how you would cook it at home. The twisted Mac and cheese was a mix of a taco salad and the classic macaroni and cheese. The burger was juicy. Dropping portions of molten cheese skidding off. Really far too much food for lunch. My server was excellent. Helpful and quick. Of course this is lunch. Music ranged from Christmas classics to country to rock. All canned. Interior was a spartin wood and vinyl with a predominant wood accents. My server was Morgan.

Love Baggers. I live near by and my friends and love to stop in and grab a good burger. The beer is really good as well. If you’re not in the mood I suggest the chili Mac. It’s my favorite non burger item.

I have to admit, we were almost scared off by the reviews. And we also got scared when we pulled up on Friday night at 6:15 and got a parking space right in front. The reviews have not been stellar, but it looks like most were from when they first opened. Plenty of open seating inside and we were seated right away in the bar area. Air conditioning was a bit breezy, and it was told to us that anywhere in the bar would be the same windy condition, so we stayed put. The server, Collin, was very quick to wait on us and explain the different ordering system and the local beers and craft made sodas. He was very friendly and seemed happy to be waiting on us, which is a pleasant surprise. I got the ½ pound burger and my wife got a turkey burger. Both were very good, albeit expensive. I opted for the build you own fries, which turned out to be a mistake, since the toppings seemed to be very skimpy, as well as the extra bacon that I got for $ 1.50. Next time I’ll just get the fries. No custom. The creamy siracha sauce was awesome and a great dip for the fries, which were very good. Overall, we had a great experience and will probably be back. The only negative is the cost. For our 2 burgers and 2 fries, we spent $ 46.00 with tip. That’s a bit steep for burgers. Try it, you’ll like it!

1st time for me and my sister and niece at Bagger daves. What a treat. Avocado and bacon burger was divine and cooked perfect medium. I always love a place that gives you that option. Enjoyed also their sloppy daves fries with cheese. Really love the concept of building my own meal from scratch. Lots of choices and variations. Also two thumbs up for our waitress Tina who was very helpful and patient in explaining all the different items and ways to order on the menu. Nice place and will be back.

Turkey burger was surprisingly good. Service was OK. The burgers are $ 8 – 12 and that doesn’t include fries or a side. So, not a very good value. Response to the management comment — the service and food were 4 star. The value was 2 star. The main complaint is price/value, not service.

Had a great experience eating at this Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern. The customer service was great from entering the door to when we left! Our server was excellent and since it was our first time he was very patient with us and answered any questions we had. My favorite part was their local beers on tap(SunKing my personal favorite). It was also neat how they crafted their own sodas. DELICIOUS! Their burger options were unique and yummy! The cheese stuffed burger was so good and the fries were divine. I always enjoy a good burger and fries! There were one thing I didn’t like. Maybe it’s just the college student in me but, the menu is A La Carte, would be nice if they fries were included with the Burger. This makes you think what you are getting is cheap when in the end it adds up quickly. If you just get a burger and a drink price then the price is not too bad. Highly recommend stopping in Bagger Dave’s Tavern for lunch with your friends or family.

Had great service from our waitress(Michelle W). She was incredibly friendly and interacted with us. She truly seemed to enjoy her job and showed great enthusiasm in serving us! Rare to see this at restaurants anymore. We had a brief wait before she took our order, but she alerted the manager. He treated us to free shakes after our meal, which was unnecessary… But very much appreciated! Food was very good too. Highly recommend the Smokin Hot Mac n Cheese!

We were really excited when this place opened up, and the first time or two we went it was delicious and provided great service. However, over time we found the food portions shrank, the quality wasn’t as good, and the service was flat out terrible.

STAYAWAY. This place is SLOOOOOWWWW, you will likely not get a correct order, and you will be overcharged for what you receive. The little train going around your head doesn’t help mask the crappy, poor service and attitude you receive by getting a meal at this place. Poor food, poor service, typical Indiana lack of customer service.

Go to this place somewhat frequently and I do enjoy it. The bartender is really good with remembering drinks and faces which I always appreciate. I realize it is a chain and they deliver exactly what I would expect. Not a 5 but definitely a solid casual service restaurant. I do like the fact they make there own sodas which I find delightful. Not a fan of the mac and cheese which I had on my last visit. Was kinda bummed they were out of the fountain sq pilsner which is a delicious beer during the dog days of summer. Have had several sandwich choices which I have enjoyed each of those. My girls really like the hamburgers and the choices. The sweet potato chips with honey sauce is wonderful. I will definitely continue to go back.

I was really excited to try this place! I love the concept of being able to build your own burger/sandwich. It’s similar to a Counter but has a warm inviting feeling to it with dark woods and a toy train that travels the restaurant. Unfortunate, after that it fell short. We walked in about 7pm on Saturday and about ½ the tables were empty(first warning sign!). Oddly enough, there was still a 20 min wait! It was a nice day outside and we inquired about sitting in the mostly empty patio — not sure why but we were told that service would be extra slow if we sat outside. Thanks — we’ll pass! There are a number of pre-specificed burgers. If you deviate from them at all you have to fill out a form and check off everything. 1) that is stupid to make a customer do if all you want to do is swap out the bun 2) What’s the point in filling out the form if the server stands at your table keying in all the selections you’ve made? Yes, that happened! And to add insult to injury, my boyfriends food came out wrong. I had the Ono Chicken which was good but not the best I’ve ever hand.

If you are a mac n’ cheese fan/lover this is the ultimate! 4 different cheeses and don’t forget the bread crumbs on top. Very delicious! Not only does Bagger Dave’s have great mac n’ cheese they have craft sodas and craft beer. Great all around restaurant!

My guy was craving a burger so we tried this place. It was our first time ever trying this place. I’ll start with the good. The burgers were actually delicious. I suggest asking for everything on the side because it can get messy very quickly if they put too much on the burger. And I’m thankful the waitress told me about their soda situation. I didn’t end up liking it so she brought me something else. Now I’m a big Mac n cheese lover. Everyone raved about their Mac n cheese, so of course I had to try it. And I was disappointed in how much it was over-hyped. It was very bland. Tasted like noodles baked with bread crumbs on top and no cheese. Now the service wasnt bad, just slow. The table next to use sat down 10 minutes after we did and got their food and their check before we got our food. I know they use a more«high quality» of meat for the burgers, but to pay $ 10 or more on a burger and then another $ 3 – 5 for a side with it, that’s is ridiculous. Maybe if the sides were worth that much in quality, taste, etc, then sure, I’ll gladly pay extra. We always decide after trying a new place whether or not we will return, or give it another chance. I hate to say it, but for the cost of it, not worth trying again.

Drink wise, Bagger Dave’s offers«craft» soft drinks which do not taste like anything special. Forgetting this, I asked for a DIETCOKE and received something more like a generic soft drink from a discount grocery. The service staff should say, «Will our diet cola suffice?» I would have then asked for a water…

So I’ve read the reviews, This is a new location, so of course it takes some time to work out service issues… They’ve been open since prior to Christmas so I think the wait has been long enough. A coworker and I decided on something new and decided on Bagger’s despite the feedback that has been on here and on Facebook and from other people. We walked in and waited to be seated. We weren’t really greeted. The hostess was having difficulty it seemed figuring out the seating chart and what to do… so I asked if we could sit at the bar and she said oh yea along the rail.(it took me a minute to realize we were railroad themed in this place and along the rail meant the bar). We stopped in the restroom first because well girls seem to go at the same time. The restroom was clean as was the resturant itself. We sat at the bar and was greeted almost instantly by the bartender who gave us our menus. Decisions. She took our drink order… there is only Bagger Dave’s sodas, water, tea or alcohol. There is no Coke/Pepsi products. I went with tea and my friend got a Root Beer. I asked the bartender her favorite thing on the menu and she said the Italian Beef. I think this is where I became difficult not sure. My friend got the buffalo turkey burger and the jalapeño mac and cheese. I went with the italian beef and same mac and cheese. I added pepper jack to my italian beef because you can never have enough of the stuff. It seemed like it took a really long time for our food to come out. At the point it arrived it had been almost 40 minutes since we stepped foot in the place. Mine came without the cheese and she said she couldn’t take it back and they’d have to make a new one. I told her to forget it because at this point we didn’t have time to wait and that i’d just go with the mac and cheese. My friend thought her turkey burger was a little weird she couldn’t eat it on the bun because it fell apart everytime she tried to pick it up. She also said that the Root Beer didn’t really taste like Root Beer… and I tried it and agreeed… it tasted very watery. Soda Stream Root Beer? Maybe. While I was eating my Jalapeño Mac and Cheese which was actually interesting concotion of noodles, cheese, southwest chipotle sauce, jalapenos, bacon crumbles(the bottom of the bowl was all bacon!), and pico de gallo. It had some good kick to it. A side of this could feed two maybe three… really large portion I cant’ imagine a full portion. The bartender then brought my sandwich back with cheese on it… which ok. So i ate it. The beef wasn’t very flavorful but there was a lot of it. If you do get this, get it with sweet and hot peppers on the side and the au jus on the side… add cheese… the side items make the flavor. The bill came… and it was 16.50…for lunch! Crazy pricing! The side of mac and cheese was 5.25! The slow wait and high prices makes this a lunch time pass.

I was going to buy lunch for my office to say thank you for the previous month’s good work. My newest employee suggested trying Bagger Dave’s and printed off the menu. After agreeing on our desitination, we ordered our food for take out: this review is solely based on my experience. I ordered the Tran Wreck Burger and the Santa Fe Nachos. First the burger: terrible, absolutely terrible. The«thing» was soaked in over buttered onions, so if there was seasoning on the burger patty, or the fries, it was instantly washed away. Took two bites and threw it away. After I finish this post, I am going to go to McDonalds to buy a double cheeseburger in order to wash out the taste of Bagger Dave’s offering. The nacho’s were regrettable. The chipotle sauce was only on the bottom, there was maybe, just maybe, a table spoon of cheese trying to hold the chips together and the pico was a translucent mess that clearly should have been thrown out yesterday. I order the diced chicken over the«messy Dave’s BBQ» and got inch cubes of seasonless poultry: on the plus side, it was cooked nicely. I feel as though I should reimburse my own office the money that was paid for this meal. The fact that this«chain» has multiple locations makes me worried that the stupid people may be winning the war.

MINUS4 Stars If you wanna be disappointed, this is your place. Overpriced. Undercooked. Tasteless. Visited on a slow night. Service was terrible. After being seated, waited 5-minutes to order drinks. Waited another 10-mins before ordering our food. Then waited close to 30-minutes for 5 burgers. Majority of everyone’s food(entrée & side) were cold. The burger patties themselves looked like something you’d expect to find in the frozen-food section of the grocery. It’s now apparent why they have so many sauces; to drown out the rubber meat taste. When compared to other burger joints in the area(taste, price, service) definitely a distant LAST! Stay away!

Monday lunch. no wait. The service was adequate and the food was decent, but I’m just not sure we will be back all that often. For what we got I thought it was a bit overpriced for the market. Our bill was over $ 25 and all we had was a chicken sandwich and hamburger(both with a side) and possibly 1 fountain drink. My chicken sandwich was decent, but a bit sloppy. It had guac on it with pepperjack cheese and a couple other things. Def not a $ 11+ sandwich as it wasn’t huge. The sweet potato chips were pretty good. but i’m hard pressed to find some I don’t like. Maybe we will go back, have a few too many drinks and change our opinion of the place. Who knows.

This place is why we should be allowed to rate negative stars. Like the James I had no issues with the drinks. In fact the drinks came fairly fast and were decent. I even got to order my food. That’s pretty much the only part of the night we enjoyed. After ordering I never again saw my waiter. After about an hour and a half I flagged down another employee and they got a manager. I told the manager we would be leaving in 10 minutes if the food did not arrive. 15 minutes went by and we dropped $ 5 on the table for beverages and got up and left. On the way out I tapped the manager, who was chatting up another employee, on the shoulder and pointed to my watch. The manager had the cajones to try and make me pay for my food and even said the cops would get called if I left. We laughed all the way out the door, went home and enjoyed a frozen pizza, that I am going to guess was better than what I was going to get.
