I’ve been going here, and sending friends here, for years. Good deals, REALLY nice poeple, and it’s so fun just to walk around looking for deals and hidden treasures. I’ll take a lot of my tenants here when they first arrive from overseas, to decorate their apartment. If you buy a lot of stuff, they’ll usually offer you a little discount too, which is a great surprise. Highly recommend.

Lots of finds and reasonable prices. I personally like all the mid-century modern stuff, but they have a little of everything, from old toys to Hoosier cabinets. They also have a lot of architectural salvage items. Worth checking out!

This place is the BOMB of thrift stores. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we walked in but we soon learned that there are approximately 15 rooms and we were challenged to find the full-size air place in the store. We literally spent at least two hours at the store, mostly just looking around. Until I saw it-an amazing couch. I was not even in the market for a new couch… well, I NEEDED a new couch and my husband WANTED a new couch. So I bought the couch and had it delivered that same day for less than $ 400! It is now the centerpiece of our family room and makes our home complete. I will definitely be back to Audrey’s for all my furniture and thrift store needs.

Five stars because, even if I don’t buy anything, it’s one of my favorite places to browse and hunt. Salesmen are helpful and friendly, but not pushy or overbearing. You truly never know what you might find, as things come and go frequently. I agree with the previous post that appreciated the word«thrift» in the name, as opposed to «antique.» There are some antiques, and some BEAUTIFUL architectural pieces, but by and large, it’s a thrift store-and is priced accordingly. They’ve expanded the architectural section of the store, so most of that is together and easily avoidable, if that’s not your thing. Park behind the building(though you have to enter from the front door), on the side street, or down a few doors at their new furniture store. Plan to take your time inside – there’s a lot to see.

I think it’s really great that the owners put the word«thrift» into the name of this store because it’s quite accurate. Unlike some of the less honest store owners who seem to think«antique» will draw people in and somehow justify their ridiculously high prices for furniture and knick-knacks, this place has none of that pretense. It’s an honest to goodness thrift store with old, used stuff at reasonably prices. What they have that is antique or architectural salvage is priced accordingly, but there is very little of this kind of merchandise. There is a parking lot a few doors down at their furniture store(that carries new merchandise) which is great because the neighborhood is a bit rough and traffic is heavy on this street.

I just moved into an unfurnished apartment and Audrey’s Place has been wonderful in helping me find all the furniture I need. Fist off, the place is huge with an even bigger warehouse on the next block, so they are continually restocking the place. The workers there are also very friendly and helpful. John the owner gave me a lot of good deals since I was buying several big items(on top of the 10% student discount). If you are buying a lot of big or heavy items I would also suggest spending the extra money to have them move it in; they drive it over and bring it into your house for you. If you are in the market for used furniture, visit this place!

I recently visited this place for the first time and I am sad I haven’t visited before. Don’t let the neighborhood scare you off, it is definitely worth the trip if you like thrift stores. There is something for all tastes here. The prices are great and if you buy a few items they are willing to deal with you. I found a couple of mid century gems but they carry older and newer items too.

I agree with Greg; Audrey’s Place is a must visit for anyone willing to look at used furniture. The no pressure sales folks are more than happy to show you around and help locate types of furniture you may want. They are also willing to work with you on the price and have incredibly inexpensive delivery for anything you do buy. I was there the weekend of Jan 16th and they had a number of great retro kitchenette sets as well as some beautiful coffee/end tables. If you’re in the area, you should also stop buy their new furniture store just down the street. The furniture there isn’t top of the line in terms of quality but is very reasonably priced and contemporary. Again, great sales folks who are more than willing to help you find what you want and to work with you on the pricing.

This thrift store is a great find! You walk in, and have to first get over the sight of tons of stuffed animal heads on the walls of the place, but after that you find a plethora of great items for your home. The store is huge, they have room after room of all kinds of antique and new furniture and housewares. Apparently, they buy out all of the items from houses and then sell them for cheap. My roommate and I got 2 mattresses(no box spring), an old desk, and a leather chair for 230 bucks! It was quite the deal. The employees there are extremely friendly and willing to make a deal on the furniture you want. If you are in need of some furniture and want to buy it cheap, check out this place first!
