This place is on the expensive side for what they are offering. It reminds me more of a flea market. The items are pretty dirty, not the highest quality, and it smells musty. I hate when antique stores are dirty and then charge a lot for their products. There are some interesting odds and ends and if you’re wanting to stock up on old china, you can definitely find some here.

I have visited this store several times over the years and have had experiences very comparable to those described by other reviewers. I decided to give it another chance and stopped in today. I found a few good deals and the staff was friendlier than in the past.

Definitely the go-to place for pictures of Jesus! I hadn’t been in some time since I had never found anything there in the past. This visit was no exception. It’s kind of a cool building, and the bank boxes are really neat, but it’s musty and the selection sure looks like it doesn’t move much. All the lights upstairs were off to save electricity.

This store is really amazing! It’s located in Irvington on Washington Street in a old brick building that used to be a bank. The inside of the building hasn’t been redone, so things like the bathrooms, offices, and especially the old safe and lockboxes from the bank are there! There’s an upstairs and a basement that you can peruse along with the very large first floor. It’s huge inside! The large variety of things in here is making it one of my new favorite places! There’s old wood and rust antiques in some booths, with glass bottles and ancient bed frames and barrels and stuff like you’d see in an old barn. There’s tons of vintage items too! The basement and the old vault even has restoration pieces, like old doors and windows and everything else you could want. The booths are very nicely organized and so eye-catching. There were only a few items that had some unmarked prices! The woman in this store is what seems to be the downfall, especially referencing other Unilocal reviews. She has no problem hiding her faith I guess? I asked her how she was doing and she said«very blessed.» There’s just about a thousand Jesus pictures and Bible verses too, which doesn’t bother me necessarily, but it does come off very strong to people not of that faith. She also talked on the phone for a very long time when I was ready to check out, and did kind of act like she was doing me a favor when she put down the phone and helped me. She also made it seem like an inconvenience to use a debit card so I just used cash instead. While I was there, she was also on the phone with someone who seemed interested in renting a booth. I wasn’t purposefully eavesdropping, the store just carries sound well, and she kind of purposefully drove them off. She blamed 9⁄11 for bad business and basically told them she couldn’t help them. Whatever man. Some of the prices were a little off, but that went both ways — cheap stuff and some stuff a little overpriced! Overall, very nice store! As long as you don’t care about prevalent religion in a business, or really kind of bad customer service, it is a must-stop!

Most disappointing visit 3÷23÷2013. My daughter and I bought some things Saturday and the woman made us feel as if we were stealing. She commented that a picture I found was worth FARMORE than what it was priced. On some vintage lace«Well you’re getting this for practically free.». She seemed very irritated. If that wasn’t reason enough to never return, we found the layout of the mall to be a mess, and as seasoned vintage shoppers the prices for the most part were not competitive(tortoise door knobs $ 28 each-the week before I purchased 3 for $ 8.50 each at a shop in Carmel!). «Have a blessed day». Riiiiiight.

My wife and I love old furniture and vinyl records; so we tend to hit antique stores when we have some free time from our hobby of food and beverage. This shop is on the same corner/same building as the Irving Theater, and Lazy Daze Café. Shares the same small lot in the back of the building and street parking as those two businesses. This store had a couple floors with all the things you would expect to see in an antique store; old beds, dressers, dishes, etc and of course vinyl records. Selection wasn’t bad, prices were decent, and I would consider going back to checkout the selection again.
