AFC Doctors Express Urgent Care

Keystone Doctors Express took amazing care of me. I went in to get stitches a couple weeks ago after falling while running in the street and cutting my knee open. I think I must have hit a rock. My friend took me, and for a Saturday afternoon, the waiting room was empty and I was helped right away. The nurses and front desk staff were welcoming, helpful, and so funny, which helped take my mind off my first ever go with stitches (you could say I was less than thrilled).
The doctor was very nice as well, and he explained everything he was doing — even if I wasn’t looking — so I would understand what was happening and why. He ended up numbing my knee, cleaning the gravel out, and finally closing me up. The nurse talked to me the entire time so I paid attention to her and not my knee. And I didn’t feel a thing.
When I went back to get my stitches checked a couple days later, I was well taken care of again when they changed my prescription due to infection. They were amazing at talking down my nerves, making sure I felt comfortable, and that I had the best care for my situation.
I will definitely go back and highly recommend because everyone there cared about me and remembered me when I went back for my checkup — although I was a pretty hard to forget scene the first time. And both times I was sent home with a bag of goodies such as gauze, tape, and anti-​bacterial so I didn’t have to get them myself. The waiting room and exam area were extremely clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely a fantastic doctors office.

Now, mind you… this was based on our one visit. My wife was ill and needed to seek some medical attention. We went in, the registration process was painless, there was a little bit of a wait, but it IS an urgent care center… I expected that. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful, the office and waiting area was pleasant, well lit, and sparkling clean.
If I needed an urgent care center, I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.
