From Dr. John Abrams and his team I received the best quality eyes‘ treatment I could wish. He did cataract removing on both eyes — without ANY pains/inconveniences/even minimal irritations. The next day after both interventions I removed the bandages, starting driving WITHOUT glasses For reading there was enough +3.25D glasses($ 1.07 in Dollar Tree) and that all was needing. Team of RN was nice, effective and polite. Dr. J. Abrams is the best representative of the best American medicine.

My experience with Abrams Eyecare has been, hands down, the worst experience I have ever had with ANY healthcare provider. If you don’t read any further then at least keep this in the back of your mind when choosing a new optometrist, which is what I was doing when I found this group. My first appointment with the Abrams group was an annual eye exam. The optometrist called my name and I followed him back to the exam room. Aside from when he was actually performing the examination the doctor never made eye contact with me. He blamed me multiple times throughout the appointment for not bringing the contact box for my right eye so he could get the prescription info. from it. Bruh, isn’t that your JOB? No one ever told me to bring the boxes to begin with and I figured I was doing him a favor bringing the box I had. My final interaction with this optometrist was him asking me if I had any questions then, without waiting, immediately ending the conversation and walking out of the room. The second half of this first appointment involved me talking to the optical department at the clinic about them repairing my glasses. I had to wait 5 minutes for the two opticians to finish their conversation about lunch with a hospital employee before any attention was paid to me. When I finally showed my glasses to the optician he took a look and said«they’re not that broken» then handed them back to me. Thank you for your expert opinion! My glasses had a bent arm and the mount for one of the lenses was broken. Two things I think any one who deals with glasses on a daily basis would be able to recognize and at least attempt to repair. My follow up appointment for a contact fitting was on par with my first visit. I showed up to the office, they told me I wasn’t on their books for the day, they did some research, they told me I was scheduled at another one of their offices that I had never been to. They then looked to see if my contacts had been ordered after my first appointment for the fitting. They had never ordered the contacts. They rescheduled me for the next day and I went in and got a pair of contacts at another office. Two weeks later and I’m waiting for the contacts they were supposed to order to show up at my house. The Abrams group is disorganized and unprofessional at all levels. It feels like a factory trying to push as many patients through its doors as possible. If you want a more personal experience I recommend going to a smaller optometrist’s practice.
