I have had the left side of my lip pierced for over 10 years now, and I really wanted to finally get the right side pierced, thus snake bites. I had jewelry in the side I already had pierced, and I asked the piercer if i should take it out that way he could ensure they would be even. He said no it would be fine and that he could make them even with the jewelry in. I kick myself in the ass for trusting him, because he marked the hole, didn’t ask if I wanted to see it and just pierced it. I know, I know I should have asked but I had a ridiculous amount of anxiety so I wasn’t really thinking clearly. Once I saw how uneven they were I was praying it was just due to swelling and that maybe it wasn’t «that bad.» I was wrong… soooo wrong. Needless to say, I now have 2 ridiculously uneven holes in my face that are visibly noticeable. So alas I can only wear them one at a time which kind of defeats then whole purpose… sucks. If I wear them both, I sort of look like one side of my mouth is drooping because of how far down it was pierced. I would never go there ever again.
