I had a bad sinus headache and Brenda massaged my head and sinuses and made me feel 100% better. She also worked on my shoulder and loosened it up a lot. If you are in pain, this is the place to go. Brenda is intuitive, nurturing and empathetic. She is very humble for a person that is told how amazing they are daily. When my session was over, I felt amazing. I seemed to feel her hands on me all day. Brenda doesn’t just do a massage. It is an experience. When you leave you feel better and life just seems so much more amazing. She is truly gifted. Thank you Brenda, for using your gift to make others lives easier. =) Your talents are appreciated by so many people.

I’ve had many amazing massages with Brenda. I wish she lived closer to Colorado! Her skill is beyond her hands and intuition. She is strong an sutler and right on when she works. She offers much more than massage — her work is like an internal massage and I leave feeling like rubber as my mind is clearer and working on a whole different level. I can’t recommend Brenda highly enough. her work is excellent and she is fun to chat with as well. I will always look her up when in California.

This review is for Brenda Burger, an amazing bodyworker who does medical massage and has a bit of intuitive insight that all should be exposed too. She now works at the WellMax center at the La Quinta Resort. I came to her for a medical massage issue and received far more than I could have asked for. She is truly gifted with her knowledge, her hands, and her intuition.

She was fantastic! I didn’t quite catch her name though. She is in charge while Brenda is away in Europe right now. She did a massage for my girlfriend and she said it was amazing. And with only a one day notice I have to admit it was well worth it. She did a house call too. Very professional and would highly recommend again. Can’t wait to get one for myself. :)

Wow!!! A massage therapist who gets it right, right away. I went for a 90 minute therapeutic massage with Brenda and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. I regularly have a massage at home, but wanted one while visiting the area. I was hesitant about having one at a spa as the level training and experience can vary dramatically from therapist to therapist. Brenda got the pressure just right… She was able to get rid of a few major trouble spots, especially after traveling in a car for 3 days. I would highly recommend Brenda Burger, at La Quinta Healing Arts, it’s a perfect massage.
As someone did mention before, there is no steam room or showers, but there is a change/​freshen up room available.

AWESOME! This place is a great hidden treasure in beautiful downtown La Quinta (and that area in general). If you are anywhere near Palm Springs you HAVE to book an appointment here, you won’t regret it I promise. And just think with all the money you will save (compared to what the hotels are charging), you can spend more at Cabazon! I’m still trying to find a place like this in Orange CA where I live! I’m ready to just make this a monthly visit for me (it’s only 2 hours away)!

If you live near, or far… this is WELL worth your time! Reasonable prices, great customer service, and a FANTASTIC massage! This is a must do!

I went based on a Unilocal review while I was at a conference, and I had one of the best massages in my life (and I’ve probably had a couple hundred by now).
Brenda did a therapeutic massage which fixed up my headache and my stuffy nose plus all the aches and pains I get from flying (and life in general). I need to move her to my hometown or I guess I can visit La Quinta for vacations regularly.
Good pressure, smooth yet firm technique, quiet, enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable room and table; an altogether excellent experience.
I would recommend the 75 minute therapeutic (I had the 75 and 60 minute versions). I never thought that 15 minutes would make such a difference… In the week that I was there, I went 4 times because it really was that good.

The best place for a massage in the valley. All massage therapists are concerned with your needs. The price is a little higher then massage envy but WELL worth the cost for a much needed REAL Massage. Your paying for quality of massage so the downside is the amenities are lacking. The place is cute, cozy and clean.

Very serene little boutique day spa set in Old Town La Quinta. Great place to come for lunch, shopping and pampering.
I got the 90 min deep tissue from Brenda. She delivered! Every knot and ache was gone when I left. I have been before and really enjoyed the experience. But, I will be requesting Brenda from now on.
They have internet specials on their website each month. Don’t forget to check those!
P. S. Only downside is that there aren’t any amenities if you’re looking for steamroom, etc.
