Actavision Optometry

I went to Actavision with no real expectations, but WOW! Kay is at the front desk and keeps the office running like clockwork. I felt like I was speaking with an old friend from my first contact to make an appointment. Dr. Adkins is my hero. I am so very impressed with the time and effort he took to make sure my prescription and my measurements were correct. Last year I was in New Mexico and given an Rx that I didn’t agree with, but was stuck with. Dr. Adkins corrected that without me saying a word. I could go on and on about all this two-​person show and what they have done for me as far as prescription glasses for over my monovision contacts to read and to drive… above and beyond the call of duty. I tried to get them to bill me again but they refused! They said it was all part of my original visit. I love these two.

Returned to this doctor last week or so. I still think this is the greatest place. He could have sold us a new pair of glasses, but instead was totally honest about the fact they probably wouldn’t help until my mother had cataract surgery.
Very thorough, honest, and knowledgeable.

Great place to go. I broke my eye socket years ago and had it repaired. Well he made sure in my normal eye check up first time there to check all of that. This was my first time there they cared so much

Actavision Optometry is a one man office. Dr Don Adkins took time measuring
me for eye glasses. When is the last time you heard that? He is really professional and listens to everything you tell him. A small office, clean, lots of parking and Kay, the gal with the patience of a saint, knows what she’s doing with helping you find glasses that work for you.
This is not a mill where you are hustled the minute you walk into the door. It
was a very pleasant experience.

Kaye helped me out, generously, free of charge. I was in from out of town and had a pair of glasses that suffered an unfortunate accident. She adjusted them without any pretense and was incredibly friendly. Thanks!
