WOW!!! CLASS A service and great food. I had the pork plate with rice and mac salad. The pork was not very seasoned but still delicious. They have a counter with over 12 different types of seasonings to make your pork taste the way you want it. As I ate I had the cashier confirm that I was having a good time and enjoying my meal over 3 times. I’m lucky if that happens once anywhere else. I can here cause the food looks amazing. And after eating it… it tastes great too. And… it was able to enjoy a arnold palmer beverage. Very clean and family friendly. A must place to eat! Also this is the first restaurant I have been to that I LOOKEDATTHEMENUFORMOREFOODTOEAT. the Loco moco is my next victum.

IT’S LIKECOMFORTFOODEVENTHOUGHIT’S DIFFERENT = Like… eating the comfort food of your foreign cousin. It’s very casual, not-too-healthy, and somehow you can taste hints of something familial in it. LOTSOFMEATANDMACARONI = A great way to start is the Big Kahuna(Shoyu Chicken, Kalua Pork, & Teriyaki Beef) or the Loco Moco(two Hamburger Patties topped with gooey Fried Egg and Gravy) — both come with Rice and Macaroni Salad. Somehow it all works together. The gravy was a tad salty but was greatly calmed by the creamy Macaroni Salad. The three Meats were very slightly dry Nothing here especially stood out for freshness BUT it definitely tasted good as a comfort food. The Poke(Tuna) also seemed like a lesser version of really good Poke… but not bad nonetheless. BETTERFORTAKEOUT = There’s about five tables inside and past the counter you can easily see into the kitchen. It’s location is in a pretty non-descript plaza. Even though the owner and her family(I assume it’s the family both times we visited) are very sweet and non-pushy, I don’t recommend eating in there. The dining area is super casual, barely decorated(like my parents did their best to decorate our patio with items from big-box stores) that I feel almost intrusive. Besides – the beach is steps away. Just dine there!

A very good version of Hawaiian Take out. I had the chicken katsu; crispy and delicious with a nice dipping sauce. Meal was served with the standard sides: sticky rice, brazed cabbage and macaroni salad; exactly what you expect. Service was great and quick.

I’m in love with this place! First time here and really enjoyed my meal. It was so hard to decide what to get so I had the cashier help me narrow it down and she told me the Kalbi is popular. I haven’t had short ribs before and these were so tasty! My meal came with coleslaw and rice. Plenty of meat to satisfy my hunger. I was full after my meal. They have soy sauce and Sriracha and I fell in love with the sesame/seaweed rice seasoning which is in the area with the sauces. It gave my rice a nice airy crunch and a different flavor from the seaweed. No sauce needed for the rice. The meat was tender and full of that Korean bbq taste. Before I could get the rib meat in my mouth, I was already salivating. The coleslaw was pretty good, felt it was missing something, but I still ate it all. My husband had the Big Kahuna which gives 3 choices to try when ya just can’t make a decision of what to order. The ladies inside were so sweet and friendly. After we finished, we brought in our trash to put in the trash and they asked us how everything tasted. My husband and I praised how amazing the food was and we finished it all! I asked how long they’d been open and they are just shy of 1 year. The lady told me they are having a luau(in the parking lot) on June 11th for their 1 year anniversary. I do believe my husband and I will be there. I did see they have a food truck too! So even better! Can’t wait to try their burgers next time!

Have been coming down to this part of Florida for years! Recently came down for a quick weekend getaway and saw this place. My family and I decided to stop in for lunch. We ordered the po po ribs, huli huli chicken, kalbi ribs and the menehune bowl(Pork). Not one single item, that we all shared, was a disappointment. Very flavorful and enough to fill us. The owner and woman at the counter were polite and made sure we were well taken cared for. I’m returning in a few weeks for vacation and this place is definitely on my list to come back to!

When I heard that a Hawaiian restaurant was open on the beach, I was super excited. I read all of the glowing reviews on Unilocal with pictures of delicious looking food and placed my order hoping for the same experience. Unfortunately, it was a mixed bag. The miso butter fish was a very small 3−4oz portion and what was there was served as a steak, not a fillet that was pictured. As you know, a steak has bones and spinal cord attached which makes it difficult and painful to eat. It had at least 2 dozen bones in addition to a big chunk of the spinal cord. Also, the thick skin was attached, making the entire meal taste very fishy. I had intended for my 5 year old to eat some of this and it was impossible for him to eat it safely. The sides served with it were puny. Not like the pictures I saw on Unilocal. At 16.99, I expected way better. The fish aside, the rest of the meal was tasty. The Huli chicken was flavorful and tender. But again, served with very small portions of their sides. Not at all like the exact meal we saw on Unilocal and the website. The poki served with sticky rice was fresh, flavorful and spicy. We would try the place again because some of the food was good and the concept is unique to the area.

Growing up on the islands, finding hawaiian food is always super important when we move somewhere new. Today, we finally got to aloha to go. First of all, jen, the owner, exudes hawaiian aloha spirit. We immediately felt at home and welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. We ordered the big kahuna and the poke bowl. the poke bowl with nori flavored sushi rice was outstanding. This was our favorite by far. The poke was perfectly cut and seasoned and the sushi rice was sticky and super tasty. The big kahuna comes with three proteins. The hulihuli chicken was our favorite of the three. The kahula pork was also really good. We’ll surely be back as this is as close to home as we’ve found and we can’t wait to go back!

The original time I came here I was extremely impressed. I asked for something to be made from the menu with a meat substitute and the owner was very sweet and went out of her way to make it happen. I also had ordered spam musubi and it tasted wonderful . I think they’ve changed staff since the last time I was there. They no longer have the ingredients to substitute the menu item like last time for me which is fine . However, This time I ordered the Kalbi and spam musubi which was not like before. The meat was dry and the rice was old and not just the side of rice. The rice in the musubi was old as well and the whole thing was just not very good like last time. I gave 3 stars because of the first time I went there and how sweet the owner was. Other than that idk if I will return.

Ate there twice during vacation at Indian Shores. Referred many friends and acquaintances as a result. Excellent quality, portions, and service. Relaxed vibe. My only complaint is there isn’t an Aloha To Go where I live out-of-state.

Spam masubi was delish I’ve lived in Hawaii for many years and enjoy the local food scene. This is all about aloha spirit, great food and good time. I will be back sooner than later

Family had dinner here last night, wow! May not be fancy, but the super ladies and great food are so worth it! I enjoyed the Ono Teriyaki Beef bowl, tender marinated thin sliced beef on white rice with their own version of slaw/veggies, and nice side of mac. Totally yummy! Hubby had coconut shrimp, and Mahi spread with chips. He loved the spread! Son enjoyed their platter of Huli Huli Chicken basted Hawaiian bbq with rice and mac salad! If you want friendly service, and great food get to Aloha to go. Small front to dine in, come as you are!

So, I was craving a plate lunch like the ones back home(in Hawai’i) and was beyond excited when I found Aloha To Go. I didn’t care that it’s about an hour from my house BUT they came up short. I ordered the Chicken Katsu which comes with a brown gravy type sauce instead of the Katsu sauce I’m used to but nonetheless, it was good. The rice was really dry and they didn’t even have shoyu(soy sauce) on hand to out on the rice. They did have some nori which I appreciated but it didn’t help relieve the dryness of the rice. The Mac salad was really bland and the noodles weren’t even cooked all the way through. My husband ordered the moco Loco and his rice and Mac salad were the same as mine unfortunately. The actual meat and egg were cooked well but they really skimp you in the gravy. Which, again, would have helped relieve how dry the rice was.(sticky rice shouldn’t be dry). I’m not sure if it was a fluke or if this is how the food is all the time but regardless, I doubt I’ll go back.

Updated: So I finally had the opportunity to get back here with my Ohana! Ordered the mixed plate(Kailua pork, shoyu chicken, and teriyaki beef), chicken katsu, and butterfish! Prices are great for these plates. Let’s just say nothing was left! I thought my husband wasn’t going to eat the kalua pork but it was that good for him to finish all the food! I make chicken katsu at home but I love how crispy and dark the breading was. And the gravy… the little gravy that was drizzled on the chicken katsu was really good! I can’t wait to make it back for loco moco with lots of gravy! The gravy wasn’t the simple brown gravy… it had a lot more flavor to it… I like to say there is a little spice added to it. Really good and your gonna want a bowl to slurp it! Then the butterfish… really really good! I can also make some fish at home but I make it differently… I liked it here because it was a sweeter glaze on it and that it had a crispier edges prob due to the sugar in it… whatever it is… it was really good. Sorry no pictures… go try it for yourself! I just happen to look up places to eat that was open for lunch today near home and found this place… it was still 25 minute drive to get there and so worth it. Owner is from hawaii and food is on par to what I would get back home. She has changed the menu a bit from what I saw posted on Unilocal.I didn’t see the mochiko chicken on the menu today. I saw garlic shrimp on the menu and ordered it. It was great but not exactly like the kahuku food truck but she had to adjust to the local taste since the garlic butter drizzled over the rice would be too greasy for the local taste. Still the shrimp was great with the garlic butter flavor. Mac salad was great too. Just like the home. Just found a great place that I can frequent! Oh I got my kids hamburger and fries. They loved it. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Originally called Aloha Dude, which totally sounds more catchy and promising, I have no idea why it’s been changed to Aloha ToGo. I’ve visited this place because of my boyfriends recent trip to Colorado, where they have a Hawaiian restaurant called«L & L», which he brags so deeply upon and cannot find a similar one in the Tampa Bay Area. Thanks to Unilocal, this little gem of a shop have been found. Owner(Jen) greeted us with a warm welcome as we entered and recommended us her favorites as well as customer favorites. I settled for the Big Kahuna combo which combines a small variety of 3 type of meats, a side of macaroni salad(ew?), and pineapple coleslaw. Surprisingly, the macaroni salad was my favorite part of the plate. We also ordered Spam musubi which was a little steep for the portion($ 2.50 for slice of spam wrapped around a piece of seaweed and white rice). Everything was well flavored and the meats had just the right amount of seasoning to make it savory and full of cravings. A1 customer service, as Jen was very entertaining. Well worth a total of about over an hour and a half drive to and back, I will sure stop by again when I have the chance.

Took the parents here on a Wednesday afternoon on the last day of their vacation. They’re pretty down-to-earth rednecks so I thought a hole in the wall restaurant that started out as a food truck would be right up their alley. Good choice, I think! Aloha Dude’s bright and tidy inside but delightfully divey so no one needs to feel self-conscious if they shuffle in off the beach. It’s countertop deli-style ordering with a couple tables and a dozen chairs crowded against the walls out front. There was only one dude cooking and taking orders but I have to assume if it had been nearer lunch he might have had a friend. Anyway, he busted his butt and got our orders out in a reasonable time frame. My mom loved her sarong wrap, dad liked his teriyaki burger and spam musubi(which he said tasted a little like the fried spam sandwiches his mom made for him when he was a kid), and I thought everything in my big kahuna combo was solid. Nice fluffy rice, cold and creamy sides, and the meat was all moist and flavourful. We watched everything be made fresh to order, even the French fries. Good stuff! Very comforting, great portion sizes. If you’re in a hurry, definitely call ahead or order delivery, but the food’s tasty and a good value(except the musubi maybe; 2.50 is a bit steep for a chunk of spam and rice). Recommended!

Aloha Dudes & Dudettes! Hang loose & listen up a bit!!! Aloha Dudes has just opened two weeks ago. You may know them as Aloha To Go & The Dude & His Food Food Trucks. Put your swim suit on, & your beach trunks, and stop here before you enjoy some Florida Natural Vitamin D. We had some great hawaiian eats here like spam musubui, huli huli chicken, kalbi, hawaiian fried rice, hawaiian macaroni salad, and shoya chicken. There’s no disappointments here. Just comfort hawaiian food at its best. Jennifer and Misty were there to take care of us. Super sweet and genuine. You will feel right at home. Check out the menu I’ve posted. I know you want it. I see it now. The food trucks are still out and about, but now you have a place right on the beach to get your Hawaiian and Philly steak fix. Don’t walk, just run, or surf or paddle board. Do something, anything, but make sure you stop by.
