Fun place. Great service and good food, my wife ordered a Sangria, which was way too sweet and they swapped it out for a cranberry and vodka no problem. I got fish and was good, wife got a salad with grilled chicken and she loved it. Beautiful view, fun atmosphere and good food. Will come back again next time visiting.

This place is fun! Yeah, the service is slow, the food is below average at best, but for drinks, live music and a fun crowd, this is one of the best places I’ve been to in Indian rocks beach.

New manager is ok but should be aware of happenings there. went to the bathroom and seen 2 bikers having relations one being a former bartender there. i was shocked and didnt stay long. but what puzzled me was that they both drove off with girls on the back of their motorcycles. Sorry wont go back there!

If you want to go somewhere and have chicken wings and a great experience don’t come here. The new manager will tell you that you shouldn’t come back or repeat yourself if you think that they’re going to do a better job the second time over. I’m a local 20 years plus coming to this establishment and now I will never be back but I will certainly tell all my friends how sad this place is.

This is a great beach bar with an open air bar to enjoy the gulf breeze. There is a huge beer selection. The amazing part is that this modest beach bar has incredibly good food. The clam chowder and the french fries are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The burgers are fantastic. In addition to great bar food, the entrees rival any good upscale restaurant. Tuesday nights are my favorite because of the lobster special. You get an awesome special of lobster(about 1 lb maybe) and 2 sides for about $ 16-$ 17.

Great little beach bar just off beach. Great food — crab cakes were amazing — not filled with bread. Scallops grilled perfect — fresh veggies. Service by Randall was top notch & fun! Live music was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Stopped by chance as we were on the shuttle. Started with the peal and eat shrimp fantastic best I’ve had in ages. And our lunch was wonderful great atmosphere friendly staff highly recommend. Do yourself a favor swing in for a beer and some of that peel and eat shrimp.

Yum! I had been to 18 On The Rocks several times for cocktails, but never for dinner, until tonight. Cocktails are always quite good! One can even double up on specials for only 2 $ more! Quite the deal, if I must say so. But, on to the food– both hubby and I ordered the Mali Mahi dinner. His was grilled, mine, blackened. Fries are crispy and firm, and the coleslaw is the best I have had in the state of Florida to date. Both fish dinners were succulent and cooked to perfection! We have heard their burgers are great too! The service was good and the waiter, Jonathan, was friendly and knowledgable. The manager/owner visited our table, which is always a nice touch to any dining experience. All in all, a pleasurable experience. We look forward to dining there again. It was an excellent, very casual, dining experience.

I love this place. It’s the neighborhood bar. But, that being said, the hours are inconsistent, and that makes it difficult to patronize this establishment. I can’t invite people to hang out here, because I never know if it will be open.

My review doesn’t include food experience as I didn’t eat there. Drinks were cheap, even too cheap for a bar. Simple, no frills place with appropriate no frill crowd. Drinks are served in a plastic cup. There is drink special on margaritas and some other drinks. Surprisingly there is $ 2 up charge for frozen drinks. Logic behind it is not clear to me. Everyone seem to smoke and there is no escape from smell even outside. Not my kind of establishment but appears to be popular with certain people.

Although the clam chowder is awesome, they can’t keep entertainment, make me wonder why.

Reviews weren’t excellent but it was in our way to the beach and we’ve tried a few of the other places on this strip and we like to try new thing. Place looks inviting from the outside though looks more like a bar than a restaurant. 2 of the walls facing the street are garage doors which were open as it was a gorgeous day. Waitress was very nice and recommended crab cakes which did look amazing at table next to us. We opted for Grouper Sandwich and tacos. If you’ve read some of my previous reviews, you know how picky I am about fish and want it to be fresh. This definitely was. Very well cooked, seasoned, and juicy. I did mine grilled, my wife chose blackened and it was perfect. Many places over spice the blackened to take away from the often dry fish. Not in this case. The coleslaw had oranges in it and was wonderful as well. The fries were perfectly cooked and crisp. Overall, great experience. Good place to stop at for a quick bite.

When you’re a dive beach bar, they’re isn’t much you have to do other than keep the beers full and keep the place clean and up to date. Most of the beer selections on their board they don’t even have. I can’t remember the last time I saw more lame beer on tap in the area. I mean Bud, Bud Light, and the like? People still drink that crap? We live in one of the fastest growing beer scenes in the nation, and no local beers on draft? Fail! The crowd was super local, everyone seemed to know everyone, but that just led to a bunch of yelling and shouting among the customers, staff, and basically everyone except us. It was also pretty rough in the cleanliness department as you are able to smoke inside. I think they have tried a bit too hard to be a dive bar, maybe it’s time to take this cool location to the next level?

Dive beach bar about a block from the water. The location isn’t great but the vibe is good and so is the food. Drinks were a steal, too. A good place that hit the spot after a day at the beach.

I don’t often give 5 stars, but when a place does the job right they deserve it. Everything we have tried is just a little better than other places we’ve been to. The clam chowder, loaded with clams. The conch fritters, loaded with conch. The crab cakes, you guessed it, loaded with crab. My wife and I are very impressed and our palates are extremely happy.

I would like to say that I tried the food at 18 On The Rocks. However, we never got that far. We arrived at 11:50am and a few people were at the bar. We sat at a table. We were the only people our waitress had to wait on. The bartender came out and got our drink orders. After a few minutes, our waitress tried to take our drink orders again. A minute later the drinks arrived. Then we waited for a few more minutes until our waitress finally came up to us and asked if we had questions. My friend told me about this place and that they have $ 13 lb lobster on Tuesday. Their website said $ 14.99 lobster. I asked out waitress and was told $ 18. With the increased price we decided to order one lobster meal and one pasta meal to split. We asked for a few seconds to make a decision on the second meal. 15 minutes later we were staring down the waitress trying to get her attention to order. She was standing by the bar stroking her hair(which is unsanitary. .but that is another conversation) and dancing. She refused to look at us. She then walked past us to wait on another table that had just arrived. Still no eye contact. On her way back past us she looked me in the eyes, smiled and kept walking. WTF? After about 30 mins of being at the restaurant without being able to order, we decided to leave. I had to scream across at our waitress to get her attention and ask for the check. She then tried to act sweet and said we would regret not getting the lobster and they had plenty. I was ticked. As we left a guy at the bar(owner? Manager?) decided to look concerned and told us to have a nice day. Too late. We will not be back. It isn’t worth a good price on Lobster if you are ignored, treated like a hassle and it takes all day.

Food is so fantastic that it’s beyond words. The sea food is simply worth million $. The best service and most friendly staff. The manager, Todd is so good and bartender Shari makes the best Long Island of this universe . If you don’t go this place, it’s your bad luck.
