Just read two reviews On The incompetence of the workers who are installing Windows doors and floors for Lowes. I was heading there this weekend to order windows to have installed in my home in satellite Beach. Thank you Unilocal for these reviews it has probably saved me thousands of dollars

They have what you need and because Home Depot is pretty much your only other choice. I’ve stuck with Lowes. Please don’t rearrange your store again because if I can find someone willing to help me, they are usually as lost as I am.

Great service great contractor pricing. Loews credit card saves me a bunch. If they don’t have it. Well go to the Internet.

Not sure why someone had a bad review at this place — it seems this is more about an installation problem and not with the store itself.
Anyways, unlike Home Depot, where I normally shop, I had employees available to help me out, the store was clean, the aisles were nice and wide, and it’s dog friendly. Well, not officially, but management doesn’t mind as long as they’re well behaved. I take my dog here and to Home Depot for training, so he has good leash manners.
All and all, this is starting to make me loyal towards Lowes.

This was a terrible experience. It may not be typical, but I suspect it is. They installed nearly $ 9000.00 of windows and a door in my recently purchased home. First, they would not honor the 10% coupon I received from the realtor. Second, instead of the 1.5 to 2 days quoted for installation, it has taken eight months to complete (no kidding 8 months). The sliding door was installed improperly — the crew actually told me they didn’t know how to install this door and it showed. To correct what was visable, a new frame was ordered and when the old one was removed, I discovered maybe ¹⁄₃ of the screws weren’t attached to anything. This is a wind rated door and it really needs to be attached correctly. In general, the windows and door are nice, the crew was courteous, generally prompt and relatively clean, but they will whitewash the installation. They were prepared to push the screws into the same enlarged holes again and would have at every junction had I not insisted a better alternative be found. Unless you are well versed in construction techniques, I would either hire an inspector to watch them or go somewhere else.

Recently had Lowe’s install granite counters in my kitchen. It was a great experience. Dave Wallace helped us select the granite and came to the house to measure. Dave made sure the sink and all necessary parts were included in our order. A day later a technician from the granite installers came and drew up templates. Exactly one week later the granite installers returned and installed the granite perfectly. No easy task as our kitchen had a few unknown quirks. The plumber used by Lowe’s was also excellent. All in all, a really great experience. I highly recommend using Lowe’s for any and all house remodeling needs.
